The Duffers said the scene with El in the hospital gown takes place before season 1, so she's definitely de-aged. The two other scenes with her hair shaved are not flashbacks, however.
The way the trailer is with the music deserves an award.. It gives me hella goosebumps!
Season 5 will be the final season. Season 4 will have 2 volumes and then a season 5 will come out being the final.

Robert Englund is in all 9 episodes, and you know that Freddy Krueger never died, he just left Elm St. for the upside down evolving into Victor Creel/Venca, Venca in the trailer even has the Freddy hand ready to kill. Appears Max gets some powers as she is seen flying in trailer. The writers of show said that season 5 would be the last, but expect spin offs based on El's adult life.

@@mixednarwhal no spoiler, Joyce's car has been a Ford Pinto since season 1, in American culture it is an infamous vehicle because it used to catch on fire even with a light fender bender from behind, in fact it has been used as a movie trope a couple times in the past. But in Stranger Things it hasn't happened yet, so basically a Chekov's gun at this point!
Volume One and Volume Two are 5 weeks a part and each volume is 2 hrs long.

the character in the end is VECNA. also, billy is Vecna. thats why max was levitating. maybe billy aka vecna is summoning max and/or the connection with billy and max are something.
