I have to say that not only do I enjoy all your gardening videos -I I also enjoy all the other adventures, both what you are doing in your home and the field trips you take us on. I think we're all looking forward to your return.
Linda dear, I am obsessed with gardening as well as garden design- I am a retired cardiac nurse who tends her garden of herbs and flowers, adding in other plants and shrubbery as I can- My husband is retiring next spring from being self employed and he too loves to be out in our backyard tending “things”as he calls it- and doing honey-do things.
Wow wow wow! Stuart has outdone himself with this GORGEOUS editing and exquisite video composition! You guys are unstoppable. Can’t wait for more Linda, Leah and Stewart!
Please please have more of Leah on these new videos. She is delightful and I love hearing her talk. Wish you would show Stewart from time to time. Love hearing him talk.
I’m looking forward to a whole new season of gardening and hoping there will still be thrifting, styling and decorating thrown in! See you in September…
Before I retired, i squeezed gardening into a busy career while managing a household, two daughters and a husband. I’m retired now and gardening and painting are my passions. I’m in zone 8a so I certainly get the 3 digit summers which makes it more difficult every year. Even through these erratic weather events of hotter summers and colder winters, I try and adapt my gardening to these changes. That’s all any of us can do.
My container garden of vegetables, shrubs and flowers keeps me humble and grateful. To watch with childlike expectation, a seed placed in some dirt and watch it grow into an edible blessing, is a miracle of God. Each rainbow of color displayed through the prism of lights and shadows cause a satisfying peace - of joy - in bloom. 🌹🌱🪻☘️🪴🌼 🙏
Lovely preview, synopsis, and views of your gardens. You describe the garden lifestyle perfectly (or imperfectly as it often is!). Can't wait for what's next!!
Enjoy your time out. I appreciate all the videos you are posting in the meantime. Looking forward when you come back. You are such an inspiration and a positive person. I look forward to your sharings. One day I hope to come and visit your beautiful garden. This is the main reason to go to Oklahoma and visit all the places you recommend. Thank you so much to make a difference in my life❣️
When I began my gardening journey in 1985 it was because I had bought my first house. From that point on I never looked back because gardening became an addiction like you say. I studied horticulture, I became a Master Gardener, I participated in various gardening societies and groups and clubs. I now live in Holland Michigan and gardening is more prolific where I'm at now than it ever was when I was living in a big city. I think my garden will always be my soul. It is ever evolving, never static, and should it ever come to completion I would be surprised and sad because then what else would there be after that? Therefore I believe the garden experience must go on, it must always be alive and things must change within the garden. Be it a good change or not so good, that's what it's all about. Trying new things, achieving successes and living with the failures.
I live in a hoa 55+ community. I have a patio and front gardening space. I'd love to see more container gardening tips. How to make a small patio feel charming and filled with greenery.
Linda, what you’ve done in the cottage is just remarkable. We’re all so proud of you. Would you tell me what the white hydrangeas on the east side of your house are? They look like some type of lime light but I’m not sure. Thanks.
