When u put the 2k clear on did u scuff the paint around the decal? I have several done and painted with gloss paint and decals are on, just worried the max 2k clear will won't work right cause of the hi gloss paint. Thanks see u at airfest
There's no clear on it at the moment, just epoxy based gloss black. So long as your paint is fully cured before you spray the clear it should be okay. Just don't get too wild on the first coat to avoid runs!
Standard West with slow hardener and colloidal silica filler. I am not a big fan of Rocketpoxy. It works fine, I just don't really get along with its use process.
@@garyschricker8425 None! Use the base drag cone in Rocksim/OpenRocket to get the actual CP/CG relationship. Mine is stable on single grain 54s with no nose weight.
Love it! I can see that kit as a future build. And second the recommendation for Stickershock. He did the decals for my level one build that got so many compliments at Hot Nozzle Summer last month.
I'm wanting to get a HPR that looks good enough to display, fly occasionally and get my L1 Cert. What would you recommend? ( the taller the cooler imo )
I'd highly recommend something from LOC precision. Lots of 3" and under kits for under $100 that are light enough for park flying F and G motors but stout enough for smaller high power applications
Want one of these kits? Get it here!

My dad will be glad you noticed!

C-47 Sky Strain...? I hope that is Changlish and isn't indicative of its flying qualities. The box says "happy flight"!
Hey Braden, What West Systems Epoxy were you using on the Bigger Daddy fillets? Do you find that product better than Rocketpoxy?

@@RocketVlogs Did you have to put weight in the nosecone? If so, how much?

Gloria from AMW is awesome.
Nice t-pose with the Kevlar.
I want one!
Rail guides?
I always out rail buttons on after paint is cured. I don't really have a reason, but I do lol
I've recently read that you usually wear a mask while sanding...Right ? ;))
nice kit, I've always loved it
To be fair, I started filming this video the day before I started my minimum diameter build. Lmao.
@@RocketVlogs ahaha, anymore to come ?
@@shere_kan8329 I have more unbuilt/unfinished rockets than I can count, so undoubtedly! haha
