Respect for including the vinyl decals at this price, I’ve had large vinyl cut for some of my other rockets, wouldn’t be suprised if the most expensive thing in the bag is the decals, I’ve looked into what one of those vinyl printers cost...
Awesome kit ... Fun to build ...Great L1 bird . I got my L1 with the zephyr I enjoy the rocket so much I bought a second one first one I went with a traditional look and the 2nd one was my own twist on paint 👍🏻
Hello Tim... Just a note...the instruction manual shows the Zepher kit as a level 3 build .. But the face card says its a level 4 build....just a note...

i am currently thinking about getting this one for my L1 certification. I was just watching the build series you made a while back for this rocket. Would you round out the front of the fins or just leave them square?
I have built lots of estes advanced kits. I am ready step up and try to get a level 1 certification. This rocket looks great.!What is the most economical launch platform you can get to launch rockets in this class?
To get certified, you have to get a NAR or Tripoli member to witness the flight. I highly recommend that you go to the club and use their launch equipment. You'll save a ton of money, and you'll get many new friends in the process. High power pads are expensive because they need to be stable. You can find a list of clubs at: www.apogeerockets.com/Launch_Sites
That's exceptional attention to detail. If I was making kits I would do them the same way. That's a great size rocket for H and I motors. It will be exciting but won't require a very large field for flying. For G motors a 2.6" to 3" diameter is better and you don't have to be certified for them.

@@chuckgarnes9420 I went on the apogee website and ordered the LOC IV rocket kit because I liked that one. From what I'm seeing I need to upgrade the shock cord and the parachute protector.

Finally broken down and bought the big brother to this kit, the Katana. The quality of the components is top shelf

Its up to you. If you want it to go higher, round the fins. If you think it goes high enough, leave them square.

Yes. It is a high power rocket, good for Level 1 certification.
I added the dual deployment kit and got my L2.
