Nice job again, and thank you for the inspiration. I watched the video of your first lures and got inspired to make my own. Since the last time you hearted my idea on an alligator gar lure, every notification for a video that I see, I get excited thinking it’s an alligator gar lure vid, then I see its something else and get sad, then I remember I’m watching Marling Baits and I get excited again.
Robby D Durham that’s hilarious, glad I read that comment, I agree honestly I went fishing with a few friends and we caught a ton of perch, but every time either of us got hooked on a bigger fish we could never get it landed on shore, lost about 10 hooks total. Sucks but was worth it. Sure we caught 8 1lb perch and ate well that night, next day we caught two small mouth bass and they were sooooooo goood for eating fried
Love the video as always! Yesterday I picked up 100$ in tools to start making lures as your channel inspired me to start making my own. The videos you put out are helping a lot to help get me started. Thanks for making these awesome baits🤘

I had one of these baits, my grandpa gave it to me and told me not to use it. I snagged it on the first cast and I didn’t know that it was rare. 10k dollars down the drain.
You should make a top water wounded butterfly with wings that have springs on them, so they flap when you are reeling. That would be awesome. As always. Great work, man!
I love all of your videos. As a woodworker myself, and a big bass fisherman I have been trying to make my own lures. Ive turned a few topwater spooks that work well, and just succeeded making a rat style bait that works well. One of the next baits Id like to see you make is the JumpFrog. Really popular for snakeheads and worked super fast. Thanks for the awesome videos and please keep it up!!
Old vid I know but I just found your channel about a month ago and I'm kinda binging on these videos. This one looks like one of my grandpa's old favorites. The only place to get them is antique stores so it would be cool if you made a bunch for your store
You should make a series of re creating antique baits

Check out a “Thoren Minnow Chaser”. It is a lure that mimics a small fish chasing a bait fish. I’d love to see how one of those works!
He used an antique browser to find an antique lure 😂

Well done to both you and Chelsea.
Man those snags gave me anxiety! I’d be super bummed if I spent hours making that just to lose it my first time using it. Great lure like always!
