Honestly my only critique is to never allow the word "fuck" in a trailer (0:37). Not many people would notice this but I did. "Bullshit" is often the limit.
No they did not. They implied certain things. But a person who did not play the games would not understand that Ellie was immune. You saw those implications as reveal because you already knew the story.
There is no way you could do and show all of that in live action TV. If you imagine every shot in the trailer in live action, It would be insanely expensive and that LOU PART 1 we see in the trailer will always be far better and superior to the live action show we are getting (SO FAR) as they could never do all that. Lots has to be cut and skipped over and you don't get lots of combat in the show. And combat in TLOU is a very important key to its identity regardless of the medium the story is being told
