      @Mark Stamper
Peace be with you. The following could be of great interest to you. Come. Let's reason together.
Jesus said and foretold as COMMANDED by THE ONLY TRUE GOD - THE FATHER:
*BY THE FRUITS YE SHALL KNOW THEM*
Radical Monotheism exactly like the Jewish Prophets / Jews to believe in a uniquely ONE GOD - without any partners or equals or like a three in one abomination called the Trinity - plus believing in the Messiah Jesus sent by God, and the essential consistency with his doctrine - the Muslim.
The very words that the Father - THE ONLY TRUE GOD - COMMANDED Jesus Christ to say. The doctrine of THE ONLY TRUE GOD that HE COMMANDED Jesus Christ to give.
The testimony of Jesus Christ on the Father:
      - The Only True God (John 17:3)
      - The Only One Who Knows The Hour (Mark 13:32)
      - Greater than I (John 14:28)
      - Greater than all (John 10:29)
      - My God and Your God (John 20:17)
The doctrine of Jesus Christ =
      The doctrine of a Muslim.
(Of course the term Father in the Jewish context. A figure of speech for their times. NOT that God has a literal Son. God has got Son by the Ton in the Bible.)
Defenders of the true honor and status of Jesus Christ against lies and abominations which includes the Crucifixion.
      VERSUS
Christianity more like the Greek and Roman doctrines and the pagan doctrines like "God" coming down in human form and human / blood sacrifice that pagans had going hand in hand with Paul's doctrines of easy fake salvation with blood of an innocent, making the Merciful God in to a blood thirsty vampire. The same people making Jesus Christ UNRIGHTEOUS by their position (believing in the fiction called Crucifixion) and making the Father a treacherous back-stabber by their position and doctrine. Christianity actually the followers of Paul.
2000 years ago, the Roman and Greek Empire with its culture and mythological and pagan roots already held the beliefs such as "God coming down in human form". So after witnessing just a single "miracle" from Paul the deceiver they were conforming to their already held beliefs. No wonder when they heard of this guy Jesus with all the stories of his miracles, it was very easy for them to take him as "Son of God" (and this concept later on developed in to taking him as God) as this already went hand in hand with their pagan and mythological belief system. Little wonder that those times and those places and people also had "Triads" and ancient "Trinities" and "God" in threes and stuff.
      Acts 14:11
When the crowd saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the Lycaonian language, "THE GODS HAVE COME DOWN to us IN HUMAN FORM!"
      ***********
Then of course the abomination of the alleged human "sacrifice" of Jesus Christ making the Most Merciful in to some human blood thirsty vampire. Going against the very teachings of the true Prophets and that includes Jesus Christ.
      ********
Unfortunately, it was the Pauline Christianity and Pauline falsehoods, blended with pagan doctrine and backed up by the powerful Empire that eventually won out over the years and wiped out the Jewish movement of radical monotheism.

@Kizah Dek I always find this quote confusing because it’s widely understood that Jesus is not the father. So I don’t think it’s fair to say Jesus is the prince of peace, ever lasting father. There have even been creeds amongst Christians in the past that specifically state the father can not be the son and the son cannot be the father. To quote a verse and attribute it to someone else is perplexing and disingenuous.

    • @markstamper1

@Kizah Dek No need to debate. I got your answer. Jesus is the father. It just makes it more confusing to read the Bible now with that in mind.

Which means 300 years after the new testament Canon was made and when the Islamic religion came into existence then the gospel of barnabas instantly appeared to us, what a surprise 🤦‍♂️😂, do you think that we couldn't know that any Muslim who can make gospels that's why the Canon of the new testament was formed because they were making book and claiming they were from God but they are not but the church knows that they had only 4 gospels and that's it from the begening and after 700 years we found out a gospel which clearly states that Muhammad will come and that Jesus is not the son of God and that Jesus was speaking in a different way, brotger it contradicts all of the bible of course it's a made up gospel 🤦‍♂️, some deceiver made up some stuff and made a gospel of barnabas, please know when and how this gospel was formed and then speak.

Something I noticed several years ago when I was in the process of exploring the real origins of Christianity (which ultimately took me out of the religion) was that Mark 1.14-15 says, "Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, 'The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the gospel.'" (RSV)
Most Christians would equate "the gospel of God" with accepting that Jesus is the divine Son of God along with his substitutionary atonement for our sins via his sacrificial death and resurrection. But further along in Mark's Gospel, when the unclean spirits that Jesus cast out allegedly proclaimed that he is the "Son of God," his response was "he strictly ordered them not to make him known." (Mark 3.12) That would make no sense if he was openly going around preaching that he is the "Son of God" as part of his proclamation of "the gospel of God." Moreover, the four Gospels all portray his disciples being rather surprised by his eventual fate and not anticipating his resurrection. Surely his twelve closest disciples would be thoroughly familiar with "the gospel" their master was preaching all the time. So whatever "the gospel of God" was that Jesus preached in Mark 1.14-15, it's not the same gospel preached by today's church.
Incidentally, I've found that one of the best ways to approach the study of the biblical Gospel texts is to use a book that places the three synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke) into parallel columns for easy comparison and contrast. Careful study and closely examining how each author worked and edited their source material allows one to draw some very interesting conclusions. The book I use for this purpose is called _Records of the Life of Jesus_ by Henry Burton Sharman. It was published in 1917 and is in the public domain (at least in the United States), so I grabbed a free copy from the Internet Archive which hosts scanned copies of this out-of-copyright book.

I agree.. the gospel is clearly "repent for the kingdom is near"
An interesting observation that aligns with your comments is that the phrase " I am the Lord" occurs 162 times in the Hebrew scriptures... But does not occur at all in the New testament.

@Faisal Siraj Salaam Alaikum! Peace and blessings be upon you too! I'm a former Christian who no longer associates with any Abrahamic faith tradition. I'm still interested in these traditions from an "academic" point of view as an outside, objective, observer, but I'm currently "spiritual but not religious." I embrace two basic spiritual principles:
      (1) My concept of God is "biocentric" in the sense defined in Robert Lanza's books such as _Biocentrism: How Life and Consciousness are the Keys to Understanding the Universe_ In other words, there is no sharp distinction between the Creator and the Creation because all consciousness is part of the great Oneness of God, which is the totality of all existence.
      (2) "The purpose of life is love and knowledge - to learn as much as possible about both this world and the transcendent [spiritual] world, and to grow in our ability to feel kindness and compassion towards all beings." That is a quote from an editorial published in the Journal of Near-Death Studies, a scientific journal documenting and analyzing near death experiences. This is what many people who have experienced God's presence in a near death experience have concluded about why we are here. I find this easier to believe than the existence of a vain, jealous, God who created us solely to worship and glorify him and who harshly punishes in the flames of hell those who desire a religion other than Islam or Christianity. I respect all spiritual paths, but I've encountered so much love, kindness and compassion from followers of many different religious traditions, so I'm now convinced that LOVE is the way to God as opposed to only one religion being the sole path to God. Anyone of any religious persuasion can fulfill their divine purpose for being here by practicing love and gaining wisdom and learning spiritual lessons through their life experiences.

@Faisal Siraj (1) "Do you believe there is a God?" Yes, but my understanding of God is very different compared to what is taught in the Abrahamic religions.
"If YOU believe that there is a God, has that God left mankind in a limbo without a concrete guidance from Him or has he left mankind with a concrete guidance from Him?" We all have a conscience and we all see the intrinsic value and desirability of qualities like unconditional love, compassion, kindness, etc. Our inborn moral compass is the only "guidance" our Creator has given to every human being, no matter whether he or she was born into an animistic shamanic culture in the Ice Age some 20,000 years ago, or a contemporary Hindu or Islamic society. I do not believe we require "guidance" in the form of a written book, nor do I believe God has given humanity such. This is absolutely fair because everyone has equal inborn "guidance" no matter where and when they are born. Otherwise some souls would be born into a society where the predominate religion would lead them to hell, and other souls would have a much greater chance at reaching heaven merely by being born into a society where the "correct" religion is predominate. That would make attaining eternal heaven or hell largely dependent upon where and when God chose to cause a particular soul to be born.
I believe God wants humanity to figure out how to create a just, loving, kind, society by learning to work together, solve our own problems and learn from our mistakes. Young children learn by doing and picking themselves up when they fall down, and likewise this is the best way for us to learn the wisdom and spiritual lessons our souls need to acquire in this existence.

@Faisal Siraj Regarding your "on the side" comment, I respect your Islamic faith and I acknowledge that Paul changed how early Christians perceived the teachings of Jesus. But as I said, I no longer follow an Abrahamic religion, so my spiritual paradigm is completely different now.

I have always wondered where the belief in the original sin in Christian theology came from. If original sin was so serious and egregious that God apparently had to come down to the earth as a man and then turn himself into a blood sacrifice just so he can forgive the sins of man, then surely the jews of all people would have been warned about this. After all, so many prophets were sent to them that it should be all over the Torah. But there is nothing there. So where did it come from?

They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Îsa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) عليهما السلام]:
      158. But Allah raised him ['Îsa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he عليه السلام is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise.

9 The coming of the lawless one is apparent in the working of Satan, who uses all power, signs, lying wonders,
(Matches Paul the Lawless one of mathew 24 :11)
10 and every kind of wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
      (Matches Farisis who mocked Jesus)
**11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion, leading them to believe what is false,**
(Matches the Qur'an on how Jesus isn't crucified)
12 so that all who have not believed the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness will be condemned.
Qur'an 3 : 54 - And they (disbelievers) plotted to kill 'Îsa [(Jesus) عليه السلام], and Allah plotted too. And Allah is the Best of those who plot.

Interestingly, Psalm 91 is just the opposite of Isaiah 53 because it is actually about Jesus (pbuh) but because God says that Jesus would call out to him(as Jesus did when he fell on his face) and that God would deliver him! That goes right in line with what the Quran says, they neither killed nor crucified him, but now the Christians say it’s not about Jesus(pbuh) but rather it’s about the Church but it can’t be about the Church when it uses words like “he” and “him” because the Church in the New Testament is always likened to a Virgin, a female, Christ bride. So it has to talking about Jesus himself and God clearly says that he would save Jesus from any trouble and give him long life. I hope I typed this where it is understandable, I’m not as good with words as brother Paul. Psalm 91. 14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

For my death, which they think happened, (happened) to them *in their error and blindness* , since *they nailed their man unto their death* . For their Ennoias did not see me, for they were deaf and blind. But in doing these things, they condemn themselves. Yes, they saw me; they punished me. *It was another* , their father, who drank the gall and the vinegar; *it was not I* . They struck me with the reed; *it was another* , Simon, who bore the cross on his shoulder. I was another upon Whom they placed the crown of thorns. The case for Jesus death for sins and being raised on the 3rd day there were no disagreements. Also Peter who is described as knowing Jesus personally was one of the people mentioned in the book of acts. He said basically the same thing as Paul.

It is clear and explicit in the Torah that it is God's commandment, remaining forever without change, addition, or diminishment, as Deuteronomy 13:1 states: "All these matters which I command to you, you shall be careful to perform. You may not add to it or diminish from it," and Deuteronomy 29:28 states: "What is revealed is for us and our children forever, to carry out all the words of this Torah." This teaches that we are commanded to fulfill all the Torah's directives forever.
It is also said: "It is an everlasting statute for all your generations," and Deuteronomy 30:12 states: "It is not in the heavens." This teaches that a prophet can no longer add a new precept to the Torah.

The present Christendom is lucky and that they owe their gratitude to Brother Paul and the experts and scholars of the Bible, including Dr Bart Ehrman, for their laborious work to unveil the Truth for the benefit of Christians. The God of Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, peace be upon them all had been kind to His innocent servants who followed Jesus and it was out of His Mercy, that when the Teachings of Jesus was distorted, He sent His messenger and prophet Muhammad, pbuh with His Message of Truth, so that they correct their course. But unfortunately the church rejected the Quran and have chosen to remain in the wrong path. I pray that the Christian brothers benefit from the work of Bro Paul and Dr Ehrman etc., and ensure their Salvation, unlike those Christians of the past.
