Should we do a fun "Revival's In The Air Challenge"??? Post your full-length, uncut playthrough on youtube, facebook, or Instagram - tag me and challenge 3 friends! Stoked to see them!
@@dickjonesify yepppp. Not hard to play for a few bars - keeping it going is the harder part. it’s a marathon! The toughest part is breaking out of the main line that your fingers are locked into for so long to do that little run without messing up 😂
Im curious. When running stereo amps, is each amp panned hard in each ear? Like, Vox Left and fender Right? Or are the summed somewhere? Same thing with running stereo kempers?
They make these things called loopers so you don’t have to play the same thing over and over, but mainly because my hand would fall off from playing that much 😅 Excellent tone and very smooth playing 👌🏻

Hi David, I´m a beginner, This is a long trip, but I am enjoying it so much. Thanks for sharing. You are my favourite. Eric Salguero from Guatemala.
Me: I'll give this a try
My left pinky: I don't think I will...
Same here 😭😭
I love how I could literally hear caps voice.
anyone else enjoy watching the tuner go crazy in this? that little run every now and then is super nice!
The amount of technical perfection is insane. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to play it this smooth ..
Huge thanks from Ukraine, for all the tutorials you're doing. Please do more, we're all waiting
Can we just appreciate that he played this stood up which is a WHOLE different skill in itself...
Take a look at my videos for more tutorials! Download my presets and IR's here: www.davidhislop.co/store

Half that lick is almost the intro to Streets Have No Name in reverse but much faster
Love this song! - What’s the time or division of the delay in this song? Thanks :)
Thank you so much! I will appreciate if you do a video on "how to record amp guitars"
have to keep hand relaxed for sure
What is the name of that red guitar in the intro?
Which guitar cables do you use @David?
Good sound
Oh i love this song ! So fun and touching
What model Strat are you using?
You are cool david! Your Tone is perfect! Please give me your hand muscles and precision! 😂 bless!
Forearm’s baby
Learning this song for church this week and I'm remembering why my resume does not say "professional musician" 😂
Im curious. When running stereo amps, is each amp panned hard in each ear? Like, Vox Left and fender Right? Or are the summed somewhere? Same thing with running stereo kempers?
What is a light speed effect?
13:25 🔥🔥
finally😆
Did you keep the trem decked on the Eric strat?
The way it's set up now it's just barely on the deck. I can still pull it almost a half step sharp. Typically I like it floating a little bit more.
Will there be a helix preset for this song?
Yes, I am working on finishing helix presets for all songs off this album.
WOW.
So like. do we have a date on those fractal patches? lol
I tried.... I just put the lick on a looper and did other stuff on the guitar during service lol
What pickups are in the strat?
It's a stock early EJ strat. I forget the exact year. 2006-2008 ish.
Can you make a video with a close up so I can see the cords and string I little bit better
They make these things called loopers so you don’t have to play the same thing over and over, but mainly because my hand would fall off from playing that much 😅 Excellent tone and very smooth playing 👌🏻
What string gauge are you using? I've been using 11s and I can't seem to get the hammer on speed enunciation
I use 11’s.
I guess I'll just have to keep grinding with my
11s
This song has a very Irish feel to me for some reason. Very cool though!
Just commented the same above!
Tutorial for Always Good?
In the cue!
@@DavidHislop awesome!!
Side question haha but where’d you get that black jean jacket?
This has an Irish feel to it. Don you think?
I noticed that too! Haha
Tab for french people please
BUT WHAT ABOUT A UKULELE TUTORIAL
That’s all Melissa Helser. She’s a boss!
Me: I can do it!
after a few run
Me: Nah! It hurts!!!
HAHA
Hey David!! Quick question, do you know what tone capacitor you have in your strat? .022uf or.047uf, paper and oil? Weird question but just curious!!!
Hello David. How are you doing? Can I have your email because I need some ideas about my pedalboard. Thank you so much
Me after playing this song 12:37
The tuner having an absolute stroke while ur playing that line
Just capo 14th
Use edge picking for your alternate picking style
this e z
Them: It's hard to keep playing the riff...
Me: I wonder if I could play it and then put it on a looper... :0
