    Hey Steve, been a while! Great video. Our G3 has been an invaluable trainer for us. I've come up with a couple of mods which make it even better. One is to get longer 9" weight horns (a chat with the Force USA rep gave a thumbs up) so I only need to stack one side for lateral pulldowns and seated rows. They comfortably handle 90kg per horn. Another mod is adding a pair of standard rack mount storage horns on the back through the holes where you would store the j-hooks - so our 2.5,5,10,20kg plates are all separate. I've stacked 200kg on the leg press which I could not imagine trying without the safety bars! Such a great add-on.

      Those are great tips. Thanks so much. That will overcome a main objection for some buyers.

      where did you buy and how did you do this weight horn mod?

    I went back and forth on this purchase for a while and so glad that I picked the g3.
    I have to emphasize that plate choice is really important. I chose to invest in thin weight plates. This allows me to fit high weight on the plate horns and easier for others to load due to proper grips on the plates. Also, invest in change plates! Super important.
    The G3 also has a standard 2x2 upright which means you can buy other attachments that fit 2x2 posts whereas a lot of the other ForceUSA racks have odd shaped uprights like 2.4x2.4. It makes the G3 more versatile in that regard. G3 also has the safety bars for the leg press.
    Inspire sells a kit for their bench with leg extension/curl that attaches to cable machines. This allows even more leg exercises on the machine. Inspire also sells a belt attachment that connects to the dual cable machine posts and allows assisted pull ups.
    Honestly, the G3 just allows so much more versatility than the stack models and is a fraction of the price. The only benefit I found is the ease of the push pin changes in weight. Other than that, once you get the right amount of change plates and the correct plates to stack, you can easily do drop sets and supersets and you still need the plates for barbell exercises. There isn’t much any other machine can do better than the G3 does but the other racks do look nicer and beefier for sure. One day I’ll want the convenience of the push pin changes but right now, plates are adequate.

      Hey Nathan,
      Thanks for the detailed comment and congrats on the G3. I’m glad you’re satisfied with it and I agree about the change plates.
      Btw don’t forget about the leg press attachment with safety bars. It makes it possible to safely do heavier vertical leg presses.

    Stevie, I used to start every morning watching you. I'm a BWO ECW Stevie fan. You were my man in ECW. 2 Question-Why no more morning shows with your well thought out take on life? 2) You ALWAYS had a lovable quality to you. You STILL do. Your words are sincere. When you were talking about AWAKE stuff, like BushSr's funeral with the envelopes passed out, I watched that 3 times. Why don't you give your AWAKE TAKE (you can use That) on REAL NEWS again, Steve? God bless you, brother. Thank you sincerely for YEARS of entertainment!👍

      Hey Bobby,
      Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate them.
      The Morning Warmup is something that will be coming back in a different form- hopefully soon. TH-cam had flagged the content and started to demonetize other videos. I have no idea why, but that’s the algorithm for you…..

    Thanks for all your great video content Stevie. You helped sway my decision back in April to get the G3 for my home gym. Just had the best overall value with the cost and everything it’s capable of doing. One attachment I’d love to see Force USA come out with is a Jammer Arms accessory. What do you think?

      Hey Adam,
      Congrats on the G3 and thanks for watching the videos.
      I’d love to see jammer arms as a standard compatible attachment across the entire lineup. Lots of people really want those.
      Keep me updated on how the G3 is working for you.

    Hey, How does ist feel to do lat pulldowns with this „old“ Version of the G3. I thought about to buy this one! Thanks for the answers!

    • @StevieRichardsFitness
      @StevieRichardsFitness  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It feels almost exactly the same as the version 2. The height of this, and most all in one trainers at this height, will limit the pull down range of motion.

    Great videos, the only thing missing is a dip bar option. Doesn't seem too difficult to add to the vertical rail system at the front. Something I use frequently in my existing power rack.

      Agreed. I miss my dip handles that I used with their myrack that owned before.

    Hubby and I purchased one of these in March going by your previous review when researching which one is best and suitable for us, thanks for the in--depth reviews you do Stevie. The only issue we had was there were no stability back supports in the UK and it was on back order from force USA but I ended up cancelling as I still hadn't received it 6 months later.

      Thanks for watching the videos and your comment.
      In my opinion, that stabilizer attachment has more limitations than benefits. Like I said in the previous review, it can be good for some use cases but it just limited too many things in my workouts.

    Hello Stevie! Thank you for the review.
    Just one quick question. Does the smith bar go down enough for hip thrust?

    • @StevieRichardsFitness
      @StevieRichardsFitness  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      While there is good range on the smith machine for hip thrusts, it’s still more limited than going all the way to the floor.
      The safety stops and springs cut the range down a little. However, every smith machine is going to have this issue.
      I’ve performed hip thrusts and been satisfied with how they felt on the smith machine.

    Hi Stevie just love these videos great job mate… I purchased the F50 plate loaded multi gym which I absolutely love and have a set up at home which I’m currently running my clients through as I’m PT…. Would love to send a video of my set up as a lot of my inspiration come from your videos… get some feed back of things I may look to add etc…. Is that cool man? What would be the easiest way I could do this if you wouldn’t mind of course?? Cheers 🤙🏼

    Steve I’m seriously considering the G3. You mention that the leg press is your favorite option. I’m weighing either to get that option or get the regular leg press. I have the room in my place and money is not the issue. What would you do? Thanks

    • @StevieRichardsFitness
      @StevieRichardsFitness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have the space and budget, I’d always opt for the separate dedicated leg press. It has better ergonomics and the ability to safely load more weight.

      I gifted the G3 to a family friend when we moved. They love it and still going strong for them.
      The G3 is, in my opinion, the best plate loaded all in one trainer for the price. The vertical leg press attachment with safety bars is something I wish even the other Force USA trainers had. It’s awesome.
