Can you just use the 1 pan head configured with brackets just to allow tilt? So pan stationary screwed in with a bracket or do you need 2 motors for just specifically tilting?

I bought the micro 2 motorized slider and the PONS pan and tilt module. I was able to use it once. After that the app stopped recognizing both devices. When I try to connect them to the app I only see a black screen. I tried multiple cellphones and the issue persists. Any idea how to fix this issue?
Have you had any experience updating the firmware? I’ve been having trouble following their demonstration which is really ruining the experience for me

I've been thinking about buying this for a couple weeks now, but wanted to see some more reviews. It seems good but has its issues regarding the app. I also wish that they would enable the ability for the slider to trigger recording via the shutter release cable. That would make vfx work so much easier when it comes to lining up plates.
I think i would’ve preferred it not in the elderkrone style, so it can be supported with rods.. also would like some type of preset, but I understand it’s hard to do, because the motors don’t know their positions, their would need to be some type of manual calibration before a preset can be loaded. Though I’m not sure because I got it to try to get past its limit only when I skipped gears.. so it might have some type of way to know it’s position. It would go back to normal only after a reset.
From tthis video, I still don't understand the benefit of using an expensive, heavy, integrated system such as this one over using a regular slider with a gimbal. Even as basic slider with a phone gimbal and lazy suzie / turn wheel could do many of these things, which is cheaper, lighter, portable. Hope I am not being rude, I don't understand benefits of this system
The apps in all the cheap chinese brand are terrible making those things useless. Don't hope for any customer support. It don't work now and it will not work in 5 years
Can you only control this with the app? Is it possible to control it with a computer?

I wish it had support for controlling the PT head by motion sensing on smartphone.

I'd really like the option to go to any way point say from D to B without having to cycle through all the way point like the scenes on edelkrone
I would love if you could control the entire system with a controller instead of a app so you can manually make your movements

Gimbals use different types of motors that cannot produce the accuracy of a slider and not all gimbals are stable when tracking.

Stupid app they have . Isn’t worth the investment on anything. Also is very heavy slider for nothing
