I think most people that voted put more emphasis on PvE content, based on how this is looking. As much more of the game is in PvE, until you can clear all of it with high efficiency, the vast majority of players are going to be focused on that, therefore the units that are gonna be slightly higher than maybe they should be are there because they excel at that content.

everytime someone says rica is his dream mon or rating rica as top tier i always think about gina and how she is miles ahead of rica...which is kinda sad considering rica is one of the most iconic units in the game
So I graded this list by dividing it on 2 parts 1. The obvious PVE units (like spectra), if it's a specific PvE Units like spectra and Naomi, I would grade them depending on how good they're in early game + how many PvE content they can be used + how good they are in that content compared to other 2A + added point if they can be used in pvp mainly siege (for example Sath, and some funny spectra content in rta) 2. Mainly pvp unit (such as elucia, roid, etc) same thing, but I grade them on how strong they are in their respective pvp place (roid in siege, or elucia on both siege and rta, or Megan in arena offense), higher rank if it's worth to build more in siege, or how pressure they are in pvp (such as how relevant vigor even after his nerf), if they can be used in PvE and they do amazingly even compared to those that are "PvE" specific, then it's just high in rankings That's just how I mainly rank them, cause you have to separate pvp and PvE oriented units in these types of list, you cant compare a kro towards a roid, kro can easily make your rift beast gets triple S, or make one of the fastest gb12, while roid dominates siege offense even amongst 5* towers, anyway at the end of the day it doesn't really matter much lol
Gina should easily be SSS, she's a rica but with aoe strip and beneficial effect block. Raoq and thrain being above her, when she's more useable than both of them endgame, is wild to me.😂
Same for roid. He is crazy with good runes like if you really want to you can use him in all contents. He makes annoying siege defs, he is really good in offense for one man control and def break also deals huge damage, ı use him in arena offense with leo and rikey for super safe team if I don't have counters for things he also solo's kinkis with riley on field. If you are really dedicated you can eve use him in rta but needs crazy runes to get 35k hp with decent speed. Him being in the same tier as things like wind cat is funny

Some things to note about your disagreements. Naomi (Wind Martial Cat): I graded her the same way I graded Kro (I think I did SS). Kro and her are basicaally siblings for how they're used. Only tremendous difference is he is DARK and she has a guild speed lead. They both can be used for all the same rift beasts with Fire being the only exception for her. I was actually suprised she wasn't up there with him. I personally also use her in GW/Siege offense. LuLu: While the Wind Totem has versatility, he excels at reliability, and he's SSS because people put a lot of emphasis on that. He cleanses and grants immunity on everything excepf for his first skill. I would be shocked if he wasn't SSS. Water Warbear: Assuming C is average, B sounds fair. He's useful, but if you never build him, you're not really missing out. Water Pixie: I would've put her at B but an A is too high imo. Not as reliable except in Rifts. Reason Naomi/Kro got so high was because their damage is more consistent and reliable. Naomi's s1 and s2 do great damage due to passive and Kro's s2 and s3 do a ton of damage. For Pixie, it's only on s3 that's random if you use it outside of PvE, and in PvE, she's competing with Naomi and Kro again. Now, for the ones I agree with or kinda agree with: Water Guarda: I would've made it A, but I can see an argument for S. Wind Inugami: Should've been at least A. Fire Werewolf/Water Vegabond/Wind High Elemental/Water Reaper: All should've been D or F. I put F for all of them lol.
lol water Garuda. I think you mean Griffon. Other than the mix up there I don't think wind inugami is that great tbh. I think the third skill is okay at best, mostly due to the fact that it does more damage as the enemy gets weaker. I would rather it be like Copper/Bulldozer where he nukes really well. He just feels weak compared to them while fitting into the same slot as them. Not to mention their skill 2s are both more useful than a single target strip. Wind Inugami feels similar to light warbear where the S3 should be more powerful than it is. The light warbear in particular suffers from bad coding which is "intentional" from what the devs say. It should be the opposite for Wind Inugami as well, it should do more damage when the enemy has more HP or possibly does more damage based on the difference in defense stats. edit: I didn't touch on wind Inugami's extra turn potential. I think that is great for a single target nuker, however I stand by the fact that he should be doing more damage as the HP is higher because he doesn't ignore def like copper/bulldozer.
Naomi is far weaker than Kro because her passive doesn't activate while the rift beast is up and immune to debuffs. So while the beast is in that state, Naomi cannot crit at all unless you build her for CR which runs contrary to how you would like to build her. Also, due to how her passive works, she typically works better with tankier mobs which again isn't how most dungeons apart from rift beasts work. Kro on the other hand, has (1) defence break (2) team up and (3) a build that is consistent whether or not the rift beast is up or down. These allow him to be used in R5 as well. Naomi at the end of the day is only a score chaser (and, not even a good one at that) for rift beasts. And as we all know, score doesn't matter unless you're trying to reach the leaderboards

@@TheAce5399 honestly? i dont use copper any more because i am sick of copper traps...but ramahan with water totem or even better ritesh with maybe a panda on top is just insanely strong as a GW/siege off. it has pretty much anything and has no problem with a trap or sth. if you can field full wind its even stronger with its own spd lead! ramahan is really one of the sleeper units in this game...

I can say that any mid tier unit gets better when you pair it with another unit, especially nat 5's. I know you can say the same thing about copper/bulldozer, but like I said they ignore defense too where Ramahan doesn't. He's probably better against tankier units in general with the whole doing more damage when their health gets lower, but if you're wanting to nuke with him to get the extra turn that doesn't make sense conceptually. I'm saying how his skills are now don't make me want to build him when I can use anything else. I think it would be better if his skill 2 stripped into def break and then his skill 3 went off higher HP scaling, not lower. I'm not trying to discount the unit still being able to do damage, because I'm sure he can still put out good damage. I think he could be even better if they tweaked very minor things about him. Like the light warbear taking away its HP but doing damage based on lost HP prior to the depletion. For whatever reason Com2Us want that skill to be used in that order which makes it utterly useless. Most bad 2A units come down to their skills being barely changed from their base form, like shannon, or being made into something really unique and interesting, but purposefully made bad so they can fix it later and pad out balance patches.

Been using Iselia a lot in AO as I don't have chiwu/tiana yet, bernard/iselia/galleon/leah makes a really good cleave and she's still pretty consistent with her strip
I actually like the list, personally i would put icaru with the other pve units in s tier. The only pve units that deserves sss are kro and spectra because of how many places you can use them and how irreplacable they are. Some units are also low because they actually recuire runes/artifacts/skillups to shine and not everyone invests that much in these units (like fire fairy). Overall pretty good list still.
Gonna have to disagree with you. Kro is pretty replaceable. I only use him for beasts now. Icaru is 100% triple S. He makes doing Dragons, Necro, and PC super fast and easy. Those are some of the most important dungeons in the game. His value in beasts just can't match Icaru's. Now Spectra, I definitely agree with you, great unit.
11:38, I've been playing the game since 2015 on this account (and 2014 on my old account) and at least on this account I have NEVER summoned the dark mystic witch. Nor have I summoned the light amazon. But on the other end of the spectrum I do have a dark pioneer so I can't complain too much :p

Kro has def break and team up, making him better. I consider naomi mainly as a beginner's kro. It's easier to rune but less versatile (because wind) and a bit weaker.

You don't use him in gaint, sf, pc, he tend to be only used for dragon and necro.. the team for gaints is easier to build and faster clear then water dogs in pc sf and gaints ...

I think Hiva (wind reaper) is better than a lot of the c and b tier units. Unfortunately lushen exists so it’s hard for any wind damage dealer to shine but hiva does his job really well and can do it on pretty mid runes. If he kills with skill 3 the cooldown refreshes, he gets additional turns if he kills. I think Hiva is definitely underrated here. Not SSS tier or anything but B would’ve been fair.
I must admit I am still too lazy to do most pvp stuff. I don't do RTA and most the time in the new guild battle thing I don't even change my teams and hope I win most the fights lol. Mind you my account is nearly 8 years old and I have 4 or 5 LD nat 5's (not from spending) and I often finish in the 1600 to 1700 range for arena.
Omg I so relate to the pain of not summoning an LD 3 star. I still don't have light griffon after one year of playing, and yet I have 2 Nat 5s! Apparently that griffon is rarer XD
I would actually rank all the cats atleast A or S for due to their sheer utility/ease of built. Four of them have huge free crit buffs and have various uses in PVP and Wind shines in PVE the most. The weakest would be dark but even then she’s a solid DD with a passive that haunted the meta for like 2 years. Hoping they buff the weaker 2As soon, shame to see only one or two buffed every half a year
Mei is absolutely insane against skogul and similars. Make a deffbreak, either he dies or deals 0 damage and can be ignored for the rest of the battle. Don’t sleep on mei
This list makes sense, when I either see it from "can't play this game without this unit" (sss) to "do not even try this unit" (e). I think the sss units are all unavoidable in some type of content.
I get by well without Vigor, Lulu, or Eshir and without using Spectra or Icaru. Definitely not cant play this game without, or even cant play effectively without. Id disagree on f, not e, its more do not try this unit unless you dont need anything else and have excess resources.
I still have 3 LD 3* mons i haven't summoned. I've been playing since the beginning, but after about a year me and my ex broke up and I had to make another account 😢 But still literally haven't summoned Driller, Basalt or Baekdu. Before the last 2 years of anniversary summons. 😅
Com2us needs to bring out 2 different balance patch. One for 2a monsters and one for non 2a awaken etc. Because some of these 2a needs a desperate buff.
One wish: Could you tell us who got the most "I don't know's"? I'm courious whether people klick just anywhere if they don't use the unit, or who is the most unused unit at all
I guess I'm picky when it comes to SSS tier. Vigor, Roaq, and Kro I can understand more or less. I put icaru in S tier. For me triple S means it can easily be used in nearly everything. From most your b10/b12 teams, rifts, and pvp. Sure icaru can potentially be used in some pvp stuff but not really. Unless you're using a weird gimmick, you're probably better off using something else.
I don't agree with Icaru being tripple S. Especially with the likes of Spectre and Roaq (who can argue Roaq probably isn't triple S) who are significantly easier to build. Not only do you need 3 Icaru, you also need decent tower level ups and runes. Where as spectre alone can be gotten very early on and you don't need crazy runes to make it work. Icaru is more like A to me, S if you are thinking of tricaru as one unit.
yeah but building 3 just makes it a total 180. like, if you make 1 then you can use it on lumel maybe BUT, if you make 3, you can use it on pc10 db12 gb12 nb12 all essence dungeons and toan. also just a basic tricaru build is really easy to make. its pretty easy to get runes for him. its the same thing as getting runes for any other unit. you’re just making it less efficient if you think its hard getting runes if you’re trying to target the threshold for the normal deter guard/broken tricaru team.
@@aishiupee Oh no I definitely don't doubt their power but the cost to get there is really high. It's a personal thing but I just don't think they should be on the same rank as the ones that are fairly easy to build and that you only need to build one of where as tricaru you need to build 3. You also definitely need a decent balance of towers and runes to make it consistent which does take time as well. The reliance on external source of power is also a factor I consider. Take for example, a guardian lvl player in chat was wondering why his Tricaru team started failing. He suspected it was the new patch that unintentionally make it inconsistent but do you know what it was? It was because he had just left a guild. So for 24 hours his runs were no longer consistent because he lost that buff. Their power once you have everything you need is nothing to sneeze at but the requirements makes be believe they don't deserve to be in the same tier as Spectre and Kro.
@@aishiupee I agree on that but comparative to the units on the same tier, it's more effort. Let's take for example Sath and Tatu another meta dungeon comp w/ easier rune requirements imo. Besides nb12 they can clear everything you mentioned for tricaru including toah but they aren't SSS, right? The biggest thing for me is that it is Icarus as a single unit up there not tricaru. We can agree to disagree at this point.
Why are making a statement "you can't use X on everywhere"? Before you make that statement, give a clear criteria what does S or A mean? is it PVE? is it PVP? Why not give 2 form for PVE and PVP? If a player feels it's strong that's his opinion. That's why I respect your tier lists or anybody's.
I feel like Pom is a lot better than people think. AoE stuns and def breaks is disgusting. Maybe I'm missing something, but he seems S tier at least, imo. At least for PvP content. I can see him in A or B for PvE.
I so disagree with Shannon. Id say SSS. Same with Bernard and Belladeon. 108 base spd, yeah, you cam shoehorn Kro into pvp. Or just dont feel like maxing crit, no need for crappy runes to get just 70% crit. Camaryn was either nerfed or her 3rd has a typo, she used to do 3 hits on 3rd.
I personally feel insulted by camaryn( dark pixie) placement. I use her in a guild seige team with Tyrone an a robo for control in 4 star towers so she should be a tier higher at least

Lala > Lulu: Great in siege! AoE cleanse, and multi strip. Strip on S1! Works well with Additional dmg too Eilene (wind Fairy) is super underated. In monster sub, can do 125K+ per hit on S1, which gives a good team-up dmg on a healer. In siege, it deletes unit with S1. Wish heals also scaled with cleansed debuffs Kacey deals some of the biggest single target damage in the game... No way should she be C-Tier
I'm not done with the whole video, but when you say you disagree with half the voted units why not also show your thoughts on the tier list/what you'd change, just to have a secondary perspective as well? Similarly maybe just mention if there's a difference between PvE and PvP since some units might be highly regarded by one side and not the other for completely different reasons. The tier lists otherwise are really helpful and give some ideas for units to build/work on especially for newer players
I disagree with inugamis family being the best... I think they are a great one but dragon knight and the oracles ones are really more rated than the dogs

Gina isnt SSS cause shes a slug. I use Rica way more cause Rica is easier to make fast, WAY easier.

I agree. Tier lists should focus on how many places they can be used and how good they are there, not how good they are in pvp only.
You should make a seperate teir list on how you put them at the end so we can see your point of view on them better.
The dark pixie is amazing, a SSS for me, i use it a lot in toah and save me a crap ton of times in the boss stages

Some units are also low because they actually recuire runes/artifacts/skillups to shine and not everyone invests that much in these units (like fire fairy).

Gonna have to disagree with you. Kro is pretty replaceable. I only use him for beasts now. Icaru is 100% triple S. He makes doing Dragons, Necro, and PC super fast and easy. Those are some of the most important dungeons in the game. His value in beasts just can't match Icaru's. Now Spectra, I definitely agree with you, great unit.
Raoq is definitely sss. And Id agree on Icaru being s. Try using him in steel fortress or pvp.

11:38, I've been playing the game since 2015 on this account (and 2014 on my old account) and at least on this account I have NEVER summoned the dark mystic witch. Nor have I summoned the light amazon. But on the other end of the spectrum I do have a dark pioneer so I can't complain too much :p
Miho felt after the crit rate fix xP that killed miho 100%, those horrible times in which 15% crit rate units were criting miho 10 times in a row 🤧

i do grade naomi and kro the same grade as they are basically siblings in terms of their skills and where you use them mostly.
Kro has def break and team up, making him better. I consider naomi mainly as a beginner's kro. It's easier to rune but less versatile (because wind) and a bit weaker.
I use Gina everywhere. She is SSS for me. I built 2 and can do very well with them in most places in the game

You don't use him in gaint, sf, pc, he tend to be only used for dragon and necro.. the team for gaints is easier to build and faster clear then water dogs in pc sf and gaints ...

varus would be crazy good but he is too easily countered. and not countered a little bit. he goes from literal god mode to whiny bitch with just a single def break on him. i want to use him but i just can't because every single team out there has a def break in it rendering him completely useless. its very sad. and he is so sexy too! art team did a crazy job with the griffon 2a

Camaryn is awesome. At least A for sure. I use mine on turn 2 AO against Trianas and she hits 20k total on her third with only +200 attack.
I also don't most of the monsters are overall SSS. But if we're only talking about 2A monsters, the list feels fair.

The way I voted, was based on where you see/would use them
I think Hiva (wind reaper) is better than a lot of the c and b tier units. Unfortunately lushen exists so it’s hard for any wind damage dealer to shine but hiva does his job really well and can do it on pretty mid runes. If he kills with skill 3 the cooldown refreshes, he gets additional turns if he kills. I think Hiva is definitely underrated here. Not SSS tier or anything but B would’ve been fair.
Thats one reason I dont like tier lists, as wind units never get the credit thsy deserve. Naomi should be much higher too.
I must admit I am still too lazy to do most pvp stuff. I don't do RTA and most the time in the new guild battle thing I don't even change my teams and hope I win most the fights lol. Mind you my account is nearly 8 years old and I have 4 or 5 LD nat 5's (not from spending) and I often finish in the 1600 to 1700 range for arena.

Hey Jewbagel, I would suggest that aside from our opinions, you would also compare your own Tier List to ours.
I would actually rank all the cats atleast A or S for due to their sheer utility/ease of built. Four of them have huge free crit buffs and have various uses in PVP and Wind shines in PVE the most. The weakest would be dark but even then she’s a solid DD with a passive that haunted the meta for like 2 years. Hoping they buff the weaker 2As soon, shame to see only one or two buffed every half a year
Mei is absolutely insane against skogul and similars. Make a deffbreak, either he dies or deals 0 damage and can be ignored for the rest of the battle. Don’t sleep on mei
I would rate Lala and Friends higher tho, I mean they heal cleanse and strip.
Lulu and Shushu got replaced by Riley but Lala can strip so ...

This list makes sense, when I either see it from "can't play this game without this unit" (sss) to "do not even try this unit" (e). I think the sss units are all unavoidable in some type of content.
I get by well without Vigor, Lulu, or Eshir and without using Spectra or Icaru. Definitely not cant play this game without, or even cant play effectively without. Id disagree on f, not e, its more do not try this unit unless you dont need anything else and have excess resources.

I still have 3 LD 3* mons i haven't summoned. I've been playing since the beginning, but after about a year me and my ex broke up and I had to make another account 😢 But still literally haven't summoned Driller, Basalt or Baekdu. Before the last 2 years of anniversary summons. 😅
Vigor does deserve his SSS tier and i think Fire fairy is kinda strong in 4star spécial ligue she deserved better.
Com2us needs to bring out 2 different balance patch. One for 2a monsters and one for non 2a awaken etc. Because some of these 2a needs a desperate buff.

I guess I'm picky when it comes to SSS tier. Vigor, Roaq, and Kro I can understand more or less. I put icaru in S tier.
For me triple S means it can easily be used in nearly everything. From most your b10/b12 teams, rifts, and pvp. Sure icaru can potentially be used in some pvp stuff but not really. Unless you're using a weird gimmick, you're probably better off using something else.
Wish all 2A mobs were farmable, whether through sd/scenario update/ancient coin shop/guild shop

I don't agree with Icaru being tripple S. Especially with the likes of Spectre and Roaq (who can argue Roaq probably isn't triple S) who are significantly easier to build. Not only do you need 3 Icaru, you also need decent tower level ups and runes. Where as spectre alone can be gotten very early on and you don't need crazy runes to make it work.
Icaru is more like A to me, S if you are thinking of tricaru as one unit.
yeah but building 3 just makes it a total 180. like, if you make 1 then you can use it on lumel maybe BUT, if you make 3, you can use it on pc10 db12 gb12 nb12 all essence dungeons and toan. also just a basic tricaru build is really easy to make. its pretty easy to get runes for him. its the same thing as getting runes for any other unit. you’re just making it less efficient if you think its hard getting runes if you’re trying to target the threshold for the normal deter guard/broken tricaru team.
@@aishiupee Oh no I definitely don't doubt their power but the cost to get there is really high. It's a personal thing but I just don't think they should be on the same rank as the ones that are fairly easy to build and that you only need to build one of where as tricaru you need to build 3.
You also definitely need a decent balance of towers and runes to make it consistent which does take time as well. The reliance on external source of power is also a factor I consider. Take for example, a guardian lvl player in chat was wondering why his Tricaru team started failing. He suspected it was the new patch that unintentionally make it inconsistent but do you know what it was? It was because he had just left a guild. So for 24 hours his runs were no longer consistent because he lost that buff.
Their power once you have everything you need is nothing to sneeze at but the requirements makes be believe they don't deserve to be in the same tier as Spectre and Kro.

The biggest thing for me is that it is Icarus as a single unit up there not tricaru. We can agree to disagree at this point.
Why are making a statement "you can't use X on everywhere"? Before you make that statement, give a clear criteria what does S or A mean? is it PVE? is it PVP? Why not give 2 form for PVE and PVP? If a player feels it's strong that's his opinion. That's why I respect your tier lists or anybody's.
I think this list more than any of the other ones showcases that a lot of newbie players are voting on these polls lol.
I feel like Pom is a lot better than people think. AoE stuns and def breaks is disgusting. Maybe I'm missing something, but he seems S tier at least, imo. At least for PvP content. I can see him in A or B for PvE.

Eilene (wind Fairy) is super underated. In monster sub, can do 125K+ per hit on S1, which gives a good team-up dmg on a healer. In siege, it deletes unit with S1. Wish heals also scaled with cleansed debuffs
Kacey deals some of the biggest single target damage in the game... No way should she be C-Tier

I'm not done with the whole video, but when you say you disagree with half the voted units why not also show your thoughts on the tier list/what you'd change, just to have a secondary perspective as well? Similarly maybe just mention if there's a difference between PvE and PvP since some units might be highly regarded by one side and not the other for completely different reasons. The tier lists otherwise are really helpful and give some ideas for units to build/work on especially for newer players
