These watches are not water proof, they are water resistant. You have to ensure the gasket is intact and not damaged(make sure it is lubed). If you have these steps covered, you can do it yourself without damaging it
It's unfortunate you weren't taught the correct way to change a watch battery. That said, it makes me happy since I get LOTS of new customers specifically because of people like you. The fact that you cant immediately tell a rhonda movement from a miyota movement tells me you haven't been doing this very long. In one of your other vids you recorded a movement in a TAG as a Swiss V8. The movement is an ETA but because it wasn't in big bold letters you had no idea. Back to this disaster, you NEVER use a sharp screw driver or even a dull screw driver to move the arm off the battery. That is a FANTASTIC way to scratch the coil and ruin the movement. Do you even know what the coil is? The arm that is holding the battery in has a HOLE on top of it. Did you ever think that might be for a reason? Lastly, the ONE absolute tell tale sign that you have no idea what you are doing is........putting a new battery in with your dirty greasy fingers. If you think Ive been hard on you, I have and for ONLY one reason. You call yourself the Watch Battery Guy, which seems to indicate you KNOW what you are doing and we all now know you dont. So, either learn the proper way to change a battery or change the name of your channel to Wrong Way Watch Battery Guy.
TaKe OnE DeEZ wReNcHeZ. Thanks for the detailed video.
Would you mind sharing where the watch wrench for back removal can be purchased.
I was told that these watches had to be pressure tested after removing the back to ensure they are still waterproof, is that a true statement?

@@watchbatteryguy7421 Thank you, I believe I've ruined both of my watches.
I replaced the battery super easy and seem to have difficulty putting the back on again. Any tip? 😢
What kind of watch?
Same one as the video. But i finally did it. It took me a bit longer 😅 thanks for the video 🙏
@monicabarco57 good job
does it have to be a 361 362?
315 works too. In some cases 397 works as well. I would def try 315 if i dont have 361/362
They have two divisions. Swiss made and Chinese made
