- A fabulous scene from the new ABC series, Pushing Daisies. (Wednesday's 8/7c)
Reader's Digest verison:
Olive loves Ned but Ned loves Chuck but they can never touch. (Long story!!) All you really need to know, Kristin Chenoweth sings!
I remember being so shocked by this. I had no idea that she was such a singer. That was one of the great things about this show - the occasional surprise like this one.
She is incredible. She actually played Glinda in Wicked for many years on Broadway.
Same I had no idea who she was at the time cause I was so young but now I love her xD
@Molly Pocrass
I don't think she did it for many years. But she was the first Glinda and probably a big part of the success of that musical.
Apart from both of them being amazing singers, it was also a cool visual having her play opposite Indina Menzel, who is about two heads taller than her.
I love Olive. I wish this show was still on!!
Pushing Daisies was truly original. It was quirky, fun, spooky, romantic and enchanting. Although it is sad that they cancelled such a wonderful show, I still think there is a bright side. Pushing Daisies never got old. We will never have to look back at cliche scripts written out of desperation, or watch actors leave over time. There will never be a terrible 8th season to lament. It will be remembered as a gem that was cancelled before its time, and that is rare in our shallow media culture.
"And Digby considered how much he liked salt..."
Genius line and so perfectly delivered. Why is it the best shows are always the most underappreciated by the masses?
ha, I love her holding Digby's paw. That's my favorite part.
Most Magical show ever. Perfect cast, writing sets.... I think things like this just don't last long in this world. But i love and watch the episodes we did get over and over and still am not sick of any of it!! :)
The most magical part? That is the quietest floor buffer in the world. Those things have lawnmower engines on them in real life!
Perfectly conveys how I feel sometimes...wanting to break into song, but not have everyone wonder what's going on.
The first time I saw this, I thought it was hilarious. But now that I myself am hopelessly devoted to someone, I'm ready to join Olive and cry.
Manuel had some nice moves.
What a great scene! Saw her as Sally Brown on Broadway. Was one of the best performances I had ever seen in person...
this scene was perfection
one of the best scene in the history of Television. Olive is one of the best character ever!
this is the best thing on TV. hope it comes back soon.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who bursts out into song at opportune moments
wah, i miss this show, it was orignial and heartwarming. i wish some network would bring it back.
Quite posssibly the best scene in a TV series ever!
I loved this show and will forever miss...one of the few shows that got cancelled and i miss....I love Kristin, I watch her on GCB now. She is amazing in whatever she does.
I love this episode! Kristin is so cute! I'm addicted to this show. I DVR it while I'm watching it! :)
I miss this show! It rocked!
and i love how they incorporated the PD theme music into the end of the song.
I really miss this show :-(
My fav. scene from Pushing Daises,I started loving Olive since this scene :)
seriously the best comedy out there.
olive is sooo cute!!
This was the moment i fell in love with this show. It really was well-done, and totally unexpected. Digby's performance really is the icing on the cake.
I love how she says "no." when he asks if she said something. Love this show.
I love Kristin singing this song, specially this scene in this show. this show was perfectly casted with her in it. this is my favorite scene. the dancing guy waxing the floor was a perfect touch! Very well thought out scene.
saw this in passing years ago, the colour scheme stayed in my head and about a week ago started watching it, no regrets
I love this show too. I can't wait for it to get to Australia. The cast, the way it is shot, everything about it is simply wonderful. I never knew Kristin was a broadway performer but she is perfect in Daisies.
I love Kristen Chenoweth so much! And this was an awesome scene. I'll miss you a lot Pushing Daisies.
I miss this show so much. I love this song (also a huge Grease fan).
i love how she put the chair up when manuel came in (1:43) and then sat in the same chair at the end (2:26)lol, But still, bloopers and all, the most amazing scene in the entire show!!!!
i love the series!!! very artistic!!! i can't take my eyes off when i watched the first season...kudos to pushing daisies!
Everything about this is just so damn perfect.
We *need* this show. It is magical.
Kristin Chenoweth was SO ADORABLE in this show!! Not that she isn't always adorable (which she is; always adorable, I mean), but she was especially adorable in this show!
What a freakin' talent Ms. Chenoweth is! I know she has won a slew of awards but she deserves to be a househould name like Streisand or Celine Dion. She can play funny but she can play sad, too. I just love her!
I just watched Pushing Daisies from tonight and saw Kristin on the NYC Tree Lighting. She is an amazing talent.
i love this scene. love how olive nook was devotedly in love with ned but discreet enough to keep it in th low down. i love this series. could've run a bit longer. ABC is unbelievable!
yea i love that too, i love her reactions to the interruptions they're so funny gotta love her
She is wonderful in everything!!!!!!!
this is the best show ever!
I love this scene... simply fantastic
I love this part!
Everygirl goes through this
we can all relate
Absolutely wonderfull edit !!!!!!
The choice of music was unbelievable appropriate.
Thanks for adding to the amazing world that is Pushing Daisies.
I love how when she says, "were closed" it almost sounded like a question, it's little inflections like that, that make her a comedic genius, and won her the Emmy!
This was my favourite pushing daisies clip. Im hopelessly devoted too. Sing it sister!!
The BEST show this decade has ever seen. Such a shame that it was cancelled. The last episode was nice though. At least they wrapped it up and gave us closure :)
I am now stalking all Kristin Chenoweth videos. I love this woman.
I am completely enamored with Olive and it all started with this scene. She is now the reason I must watch pushing Daisies every Wednesday!
The best thing that ever happened to ABC.
And they THREW IT OUT THE WINDOW.
Excuse me, while I go and cry.
She deserved it. Shes incredible. Her character is halarious, and well acted and her singing superb. She was GREAT in Glee.
She totally deserved her Emmy!!!
God I miss this show, though I do appreciate Bryan Fuller trying to tie up all the lose ends when it turned out it was going to be canceled. I'm a fan of all his shows, I love how PD had cameos/mentions of Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls XD
such a unique mixture of emotional music and random comedy.
Levely scene =)
Kristin Chenoweth is great. I love the musical Wicked, in which she sang together with Idina Menzel, also gorgeous!
that scene is one of the bests of all the series, I love the guy dancing some salsa behind olive :)
I MISS PUSHING DAISIES!
i just watched the 3 unaired episodes online...sigh, I loved this show...
thanks for posting!
I just love how she sings and dances with the dog. :)
I Love this show! And I Love Kristin : ) Shes awesome
This was a great show. Miss it.
Her voice is so charming and sophisticated, I was amazed actually.
I loved this show! "Pushing Daisies" and "Life" were really good shows doomed by the damn writers' strike!
my favourite scene from the whole series, cleverly written. never realised she was a broadway star- just thought she had an ace voice for an actress
oh my god i love this series ..
it`s realy good
I miss this creative show!!
She is hilarious in everything she does. Love her!
Love that scene. Just love it.
I miss this show so much, it was beautifully narrated :)
I miss this show soooo much!!! It's my fave show ever and Olive is my fave Character in it. I hope that we all know the ending and development of this great story one day
wow her voice is so...*THUMBS UP*!!
That's Awesome!!! I love Australia, you guys gave us the most awesome actress, the lovely Yvonne Strahovski! :D Amazing Talent there in Australia, if I do say so myself!
i want this show back!!! i want it so bad. Its the most lovingly produced insightful slice of life. ever the attention to detail well mind blowing. what other words could i use? ...unlike real life the unsaid gets to be said...or at least explained. every episode is just incredible in a way i lack the mental facilities to express even to lowest standard of satisfaction. its perfect in every way. no wonder it was cancelled. like everything beautiful in this world we can't wait to kill it!.
I miss this show so much. It was one of the only good shows on modern tv.
Kristin Chenoweth is AWESOME! Thanx for the upload!
I laughed out loud when she bursted out singing. I LOVED Pushing Daisies, pray for a 2nd season everybody!

to quote her from last week
"no i just simply like the word bosom
i say it to myself all the time
bosom bosom bosom
i just cant help myself
im a bomom-aholic"
she's my idol
Kristin Chenoweth was the first glinda in wicked. Shes a amazing singer in wicked!
Pushing Daisies rocks! I'm in love with Chuck *-* And this is one of the bests moments of the TV ever :D
That dog Digby is the best dog actor on TV. What a champ!
I love KRISTEN CHENOWETH!! She's such an angel!
OMG Kristin should totally record this song, I love it more than the original!
This makes me cry, I love it so much. One of my favorite scenes from the show.
the set designer for this show is awesome
I like this show... I fell in love with the whole narrtive/musical concept. Also Ned and Chuck make such a cute couple...
That voice is AWESOME 😍 I LOVE HER
I agree. I loved Pushing Daisies. I was so interested with the Pie Man's deadly hands. On the edge of your seat and I was so intrigued with what was going to happen with the PieMan's love life.
I like her voice, I wanna see more of her. I wish I could have seen Wicked; I loved the book and she seems perfect for the part.
She is so amazing. I am so excited- apparently, she is singing the first episode back. I cannot wait to here more from her!
(Cheno was the only reason I watched PD in the first place. :)
I miss this show so much.
It's the commentator from the Harry Potter dvds!
She's such a great singer... awesome video.
this scene is really great, I love the way she sings
I love that song!!!
This video brought me to this show and I have watched countless times…. And now more than a decade later I notice this. Olive stacked the chair yet later she has a chair conveniently place for her to sit.
so sweet with the doggie dance and a great song back in the days of the 70s
omgggg she is adorable i love her so much!
I was watching the Tony Awards 2008 the other night and I was surprised that Kristin Chenoweth was actually a Tony Award winner! :)
Aww I love this show and miss it so much!
Aww. I really love that dog Digby - he's so adorable.
