"Olive often imagined there was an orchestra in her heart, music heard only by her, except when her heart broke open and it spilled out into the world."
Netflix seriously needs to HOP ON THIS. I hate how they were told literally last minute the show was cancelled and they had to try and wrap everything up in one episode.
I would pay $100 to hear Kristin sing the entire Eternal Flame song. I love her characters so dearly, and I'm sure there's quite a bit of Kristin in them. As for her singing though, if there's any songs to be heard in heaven, then its Kristin we'll be hearing.
Bryan Fuller has wanted to ever since they cancelled it and he pitches the idea to the studios every year , they are more interested in making cheap crap reality shows nowadays , easy money with little outlay
MissOkay00 Yes it is. It should had 22 Episode per Season, but due to the writers strike ... argh. It was such a beautiful show, I hope they will order more episodes soon. I don't want it like other good shows to be in the list of "Cancelled Too Soon"
Budget. ABC kept messing around with the time slots and giving it little to no advertising. They then funneled a bunch of money into vapid but largely successful reality shows.
The Screenwriters protest of 200...9, I think, made the staff cut the first season from 22 episodes to 9 or 11, I can't remember well. They had the second season, but ABC still cancelled with the low ratings... That were they're fault on the first place.
For anyone who likes/loves "Pushing Daisies" you will have to see "Dream Role Goals with Kristin Chenoweth" on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" 03-30-2033. Kirsten does a plug for "Pushing Daisies - The Musical" to be a show that she would like to see brought to Broadway. As she says, "That's my opinion. Simmer on that".
The ABC should have considered the viewers OUTSIDE the U.S.(I think because of this the show was cancelled). It's such a shame. This show it's like a love relationship, u're always going to wonder what would have been if it lasted a little longer :/
I'm outside the U.S. (UK) and I don't think it ever even aired here. I only knew of it because a close American friend of mine recommended it. I had to download it all from torrent sites because it just wasn't available anywhere.
@@markalexander3659 exactly. I used to watch it on warner channel. But only the first season. Years later, I looked it up on the internet and downloaded it from torrent too. It’s the only way. But it’s sad that the show was cancelled.
@TheAllcroft she was indeed wonderful, but that show had a lot going for it. Art direction, acting, absolutely incredible writing, the cast was always top-notch (including guest appearances).
There was no series three. The show was cancelled after half of the second season. There was supposed to be 22 episodes but instead there were only 13. Lack of viewers I guess, even thought they were all over the creative arts Emmy's when they were on the air.
Guiris os voy a decir una cosa. Me encantaria que volviese esta serie a emitirse. Me encanto cuando la vi. Tiene un estilo que me gusta mucho tipo Tim Burton o asi.
Where was the clip from 5:30 from? I can't remember it! But yes, I LOVE Pushing Daisies, exp Olive. Ooh, I am going to miss it so much? Do you know if there is going to be a Season 2 soundtrack? Please, please say there will be!
It looks like Kristin's shadow stops below her shins and that is strange... also when she wiped the counter she did not change the shape of the towel in any way
I can honestly say that I hate musicals. Any show with singing, most movies with any singing interlude, hate it (with very few exceptions). I could listen to Kristin Chenoweth sing every word she speaks.
"Olive often imagined there was an orchestra in her heart, music heard only by her, except when her heart broke open and it spilled out into the world."
"Excuse me, we're closed." Gets me every time. Ahahahaha. Dang people ruining her moment!

This show should've run much, much longer. It was the best!
still have no idea what happened to the piemaker's dad or chuck's
I like Kristin's Eternal Flame more than original, it sounds so soft and more touching IMHO
I wish I could get the whole song
That's because Kristen Chenowith has more vocal talent that Susanna Hoffs.
I miss this show much 😭😭😭😭 REVIVE PUSHING DAISIES!
Bryan Fuller has wanted to ever since they cancelled it and he pitches the idea to the studios every year , they are more interested in making cheap crap reality shows nowadays , easy money with little outlay
I cry every time I hear her sing Eternal Flame. I miss this show so much!
"...except when her heart broke open, and it spilled out into the world." Aww, poor Itty Bitty.
This show was so different and unique. Too bad it ended!
This is one of the best shows ever. So sad it was canceled.
Her singing is awesome!
Ive see her up close and live. I can surely testify. She is stunning
She was on broadway!!
Kristin Chenoweth and Ellen Greene are two of THE BEST singers I have ever heard!!!
I am so sad this show was stopped :(
WHY?
MissOkay00
Probably because they thought the ratings weren't high enough....
Too Bad!! QAQ
MissOkay00

*sniff* I'm going to miss this show so much!
THIS. IS. MY. FAVORITE. SHOW.
Have you seen The good place? Its perfect. Almost as good as PD. Almost
I miss that show so much :( Love Kristin, always !
Fantastic serie!
Poor Olive... Broken heart is terrible... 💔
I absolutely love Pushing Daisies But WHY DID THEY CANCEL IT!!!

The writer strike killed it. A bunch of greedy unionized writers killed a ton of great shows at the time. To line their already wealthy pockets.
I saw Kristin live in Melbourne. Damn she is the greatest.
For anyone who likes/loves "Pushing Daisies" you will have to see "Dream Role Goals with Kristin Chenoweth" on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" 03-30-2033.

This role was perfect for Kristin Chenoweth
so sad we only got seven minutes of this joy!
Olive was better then every character fight me
I love that dog!!!
I love that Olive is so happy there is a musical moment happening in front of her.
And when sad.
I wish TH-cam had a super like button!
Really love Olive and her song

Agree. Im in Australia. I bought both series on DVD.
I'm outside the U.S. (UK) and I don't think it ever even aired here. I only knew of it because a close American friend of mine recommended it. I had to download it all from torrent sites because it just wasn't available anywhere.

thank you, its a great video to record Kristen's voice
Jeez she really can sing. I love olive as well. Such a talent.
I love love love cheno singing Hello, her voice fits it so well :D
Love her songs and Olive. Her voice is amazing.
So awesome, I love it! Thanks for posting.
One day they'll be a TV show about cancelled Bryan Fuller TV shows.
And it will get cancelled.
or about shows that screwed him over (Star Trek: Discovery, American Gods and Amazing Stories).
@@pedrobarragan746 I still can't believe that Mr. Quality TV Bryan Fuller was associated with the crap that was STD
She can really sing.
Dark Illusion This is THE Kristen Chenoweth.
I saw her live in Melbourne. You bet your sweet life she can sing.
I love Digby.
“Shut the acapella up!”
I’m sorry but Emerson is my favorite character.
Woah, she had more songs than I remembered.
Iana Araújo and all are perfect!
Olive is the best love her but in the uk they ' did not buy series 3 so if any one has it please post it up really enjoyed the 1st 2 series x
abi4sheep there is no 3rd season
2:36 she flipped that chair on the table earlier and now it's back down again for her so sit on haha
@TheAllcroft she was indeed wonderful, but that show had a lot going for it. Art direction, acting, absolutely incredible writing, the cast was always top-notch (including guest appearances).
I never noticed that the chair goes from being on the table then she sits in it lol
I almost died at 5:23. Cheno and Emerson's face FTW.

Sara DJ I heard it was related to the strike
Olive snook 💜
Hello was awesome!
Waiy, is ABC a part of Disney today? Lee Pace is in GotG and Captain Marvel, Kristin is in Descendants. Disney, you have to revive the series
@maxymumcool the song is called Hello
Such a wonderful show... such a shame...
Guiris os voy a decir una cosa. Me encantaria que volviese esta serie a emitirse. Me encanto cuando la vi. Tiene un estilo que me gusta mucho tipo Tim Burton o asi.

@pinklemonade641 Season 2 Episode 11 'Window Dressed To Kill' It's a great episode if you like Olive!
La única que merecía un final feliz
1:32 I love Digby
sammy eagleson me too
The dog is called Digby , a nod to the 1973 movie , Digby: The Biggest Dog in the World staring Jim Dale who does the narration on Pushing daisies
@@marcushull12 Thanks for the info. Digby is a love and played by a great actress or actresses.
Lovely video, but you forgot Digby in the credits (played by the two "girls" Orbit and Prion). Olive's duet with Digby is just memorable.
I think this is 100% Advanced Artificial Intelligence in 2008. The Feist 2007 music video "1,2,3,4" is 100% A.I.
It looks like Kristin's shadow stops below her shins and that is strange... also when she wiped the counter she did not change the shape of the towel in any way
No, as I said Digby were played by two female dogs, Orbit and Orion. The P in Prion was obviously a tupo. I mean, typo.
does this song really exists? whats it called and who sings it?
what sing is at 6:03?
Hanna R. Kinda late but it's hello by Lionel Richie. Don't know if kristen made a full cover
I admit my typo was weird and hard to understand. I didn't realize I had written Prion until I reread it.
Poor Olive. There's so much damn sexual tension in this show!
didnt she put that chair up?
cute
Poor olive
Lionel Richie's Hello
Would have been funny if Olivia walked in with John Travolta .
Aca-scuse me?
