I know how you feel about Canada... I'm in the same boat. This summer will mark my 3rd year away from home. Now we have a son and it kills me that my parents can't meet him. I was convinced that I would go home this year but now I see how naive I was... I miss my family and NS so badly ㅜㅜ... I am just hoping for 2022 at this point...
Thank you for the info on travel to Canada. My son and his Canadian wife live in Toronto and we miss them so much. Imagine if this happened 30 years ago - we could only make expensive long distance calls - now we can zoom, facetime, texting and sharing photos.
In New Zealand, the cost for a place in a Managed isolation Quarantine Facility (Hotel) is about $3000 but that's for a 14-day isolation. I too was going to book a flight in late January of last year to South Korea for a 3 week holiday in May. I was lucky that I heard rumblings about the virus so I thought I'd hold off for a bit, then things just started picking up and I realized it wasn't going to be a reality. Was hoping to try again in Sept/Oct of this year but that's looking unlikely now. Hopefully next year.
It's so hard being thousands of miles from family, unsure when it's possible to go back. I'm just glad my mum has had her first dose of the vaccine so I can rest a little easier
So happy Kyuho got to visit and see his parents... he must of had a blast... I feel you Sarah about visiting Canada... that how I feel I can’t go to Korea... I’m a front line worker and got the vaccine... and do hope that those with vaccine don’t have to quarantine as long to bring down that cost...
I moved abroad in July from the US and naively thought I would be able to go back for Christmas to visit. Now even this summer is out of the question as well. I can't even imagine what two years without seeing family is like, sending socially distant hugs!
I am sorry you were not able to go to Canada last year and maybe again this year. This virus has really hit hard on so many people. Hugs to you both that you get to do something this year. Beemo always steals my heart every time I see him. He is so smart.
The problems every study abroad students and every person who currently do not live in their country but wanting to come home are facing. I’ve been facing the same problem when calculating my route to come home for the Lunar New Year, which is the only thing that keeps me motivated to get through the year. But no matter how many times i calculated, it is dead end for me. Wish you guys the best and hope thing will go well for you guys when summer approaches.
I'm your age, and got my first shot here in the USA but I work at the Mayo Clinic so thats why. I get my booster on the 19th. Hope things speed up for you guys soon!
Hey guys! So the $2,000 stay for those 3 days are most likely at hotels closest to the airports and more of a higher brand name hotel chain. It also depends on your location of travel. Toronto alone usually starts as low as $150. They are also restricting flights coming in, to only 4 airports. I am sure that large number has other costs added to because of the precautions with COVID. If you are coming to Canada, I would suggest you wait for cases as well as restrictions die down. - from a Travel Counselor I have been keeping along with how Korea has taken approaches to curb their numbers and I am so taken aback by how Canada is so far behind. Korea has the quarantine app that is in depth and daily updating while Canada has one that is based on Bluetooth and only pings you if you are around another person with the app and tests positive. It's not mandatory to have this app. As well, it is left up to the user to answer honestly about being positive or negative. The international flights only now really been "hotel quarantining" in the last few weeks. I am pretty sure how these situations have been handled has caused at least Ontario to be over run with cases and only keeps getting worse. We are currently in second lockdown and should be coming out of it soon (within the next week) but there is talks to extend it for a few more days depending on your region. This lockdown was late coming and we saw an explosion of cases right after Christmas because lockdoen started Dec 26. Originally was suppose to be Dec 25... 🙄 they should have done it near the beginning of December when numbers started to go up.
Fellow Canadian here. By email, airlines were only discussing vouchers, but if you call by phone, most were ok for refund. They just didn’t want that to be people’s first option at the time. You could always try now.. just tell them you don’t know when you will fly so you prefer a refund. Good luck!
I totally agree on Canada implementing the two-week quarantine like Korea.....they implemented travel restrictions way too late and that's why numbers are so bad. I really hope things get better really soon so you guys can come back to visit! love you guys so much!
I work in healthcare in Pennsylvania. I just got my 2nd vaccination this week. No side effects, except my arm was sore at the site of the shot for a couple of days, only if you felt your arm. Otherwise you didn't know you had it. I am so sorry you are having the many difficulties that you are having. My heart goes out to you. The Residents at the Personal Care home where I work haven't been able to see their loved ones in a year. It's very hard for them, so I do a lot of Zoom visits with them, and we have a cottage with glass windows that is up against our facility. Residents can see and talk to loved ones who live nearby through an intercom for 45 minutes.
I'm so sorry you probably won't get to Canada this summer. But it's good that you have those vouchers for when you can go (and who knows, maybe things will change faster than expected). I loved seeing Kyuho with his parents. As a Korean language learner, I love hearing native speakers speaking in natural, unscripted conversations.
I'm sorry to hear you have been feeling down because of the travel restrictions and costs. I live abroad (UK) from my family too but was lucky that I got to see them in October for a short visit when the numbers were low, but now it will be unlikely we'll be able to meet for another few months. One thing that helped me a lot when I first moved abroad and had a lot of homesickness was the following thing a friend told me: that I missed the idea of home and people coming together because I am visiting, but that the normal life there is not the same as during those moments. I know it does not really apply fully in this situation, but I hope it still brings some comfort and that you feel better soon.
I haven't seen my family in over a year even though the flight would only take 2.5 hours. The main reason is requirement to quarantine on arrival there and when back in the UK. I wouldn't be able to do anything with my family and me staying with them would force them to quarantine as well. I work in a hospital and obviously we discourage any non-essential travel. Working from home is not allowed when in quarantine if is caused by travel so I would have to take unpaid leave from work. I already had Covid 2 months ago and I am still struggling with fatigue and pain. I recently got 1st dose of the vaccine and my second one is scheduled for April but the travel rules keep on changing and I do not want to buy any tickets before I am certain it is safe to do so.
I lived in Seoul for 5 years and came back to NS in 2018. Don't lose hope -wait to Fall. I remember how much after 2 years I missed. Canada will still be here. Nova Scotia will still be here.🚄⛵✈🌠
Sarah, can I just compliment you on your beautiful form with your weightlifting? It is so painful to watch some people lift weights but it was truly a joy to see your correct form and method. I truly hope you are able to see your family soon.
I look forward to every video and they always made better by the frequent appearances of the handsome Beemo! Never worry that he’s “in the way.” 😹 Y’all are such fun to watch. Love to all three of you from here in the USA. ❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋
I feel your pain, Sarah :( I'm stuck here in Japan, and I haven't seen my family since 2019 either, since they live in Europe. And I probably won't get to see them till 2022 at the earliest! :/
I flew back home after slightly more than 1 year of being in Korea for a few months' stay. I also had to pay around the same amount for the quarantine, but at least it is a 14 day stay and not just 3 days. The actual costs are actually more, because the cost of covid testing during the stay, and also an additional test before returning to Korea, are not included. But after last visiting home end of 2019, I felt like I really had to go back for a while.
In Singapore, 2 wks' stay at a dedicated facility (if you are lucky, you be transported to a deluxe hotel like those 5-star beachside hotels) including the C-19 swab tests would come to about S$2,200.
Cute handwritings catch my eyes!✍🏻 so so nice in between the footage!!☺️ Sorry to hear sad update! I’ve received huge help from your channel kinda to mentally stay healthy when I got stuck in other country last year. I was very happy to see your normal life in Korea and it relieved my homesick! It really helped !!🙏🏻 Just wanna give Sarah little comfort with comment. Cheer up! Hope you can safely travel home soon!! Xoxo
Totally agree. I don't understand why the travellers are required to be "double-tested" - i.e., presenting negative test results, but in the meantime have to be tested again upon arriving Canada and stay in a designated hotel. I also haven't been able to visit my family in HK for almost 2 years...
I agree with the double testing, because it’s still possible to catch the virus on the flight. But that price for just 3 days in a hotel is pretty nuts imo.
I’m Canadian. Yes the restrictions seem crazy. I’m sure it’s to stop the more vacation type travel (like going to Mexico or Florida) but it’s too little too late IMO. I’m tired of being in lockdown or stay at home order and it messing with my kids schooling.
I feel you. ❤️ I’m grateful to be abroad in a country where the situation is relatively safe (Taiwan) but it’s hard not knowing when I’ll be able to see my family again. I tried sending a postcard to my best friend back in Europe and I couldn’t because there’s no flights currently. Even small things like that are hard now 😥
Taiwan has done such an incredible job from the very start 👏👏 So many people are in the same boat not being able to see their loved ones-it really sucks 😞
Totally understand about wanting to go home to Canada. I go home every summer too and couldn’t last year and it looks the same for this summer too. I teacher in China at an international school and the “rules” on both sides to leave and come back are a lot.
I feel you Sarah. When I was living in the US, I couldn’t come home to France for about 3 years because of some visa/ green card issues. It’s really hard to not be able to see family and friends, especially when we live abroad with a big time difference. I hope the situation gets better as soon as possible or that Canada can implant a cheaper quarantine solution, especially when you’re a citizen. Sending you much love and support!
I know the travel limitations suck. I live in canada, but i haven't been home in germany in over 6 years now. i was planning to go this year. But I'm happy Canada is stepping up by discouraging travelling like this until the situation is under control. It;s only getting worse
I think I commented awhile ago about reading all the light we cannot see. It’s really good! Another favorite of mine also WW2 related as well as a true story is Beneath a scarlet sky by Mark Sullivan. I hope y’all are staying safe! Always love when your guys videos come out!
I'm currently living in Ontario but will be moving to Nova Scotia in April with my daughter, son-in-law & two grandsons. I cannot tell you how much I'm looking forward to going and being able to have a more normal life. After basically spending most of last year either at home by myself, which is fine, or going to my daughters. Still after just over a year of this I'm pretty fed up with it and am totally looking forward to having more freedom in Halifax since NS has very few Covid cases. I haven't been there before but my son-in-law was born there so knows the place pretty well, having also previously graduated from University of Halifax, which he will now be working at. I've seen pictures of it and it looks so pretty, so I'm looking forward to the summer when we can hopefully take some little tours here and there and sightsee a bit. Sorry you're not able to come see your family, it's definitely a bummer. I had planned to fly home to Australia to visit my younger brother this year and also go to Osaka & Seoul too, sadly that trip's on hold till who knows when too. :(
@@2hearts1seoul yeah that’s true I also don’t understand what 3 days is supposed to do.... like 14 days is so if you are negative when you first arrive but positive a week later you don’t go out into the public and spread it 🧐
Sarah I really understand what you feel. I want to go see my family so badly right now. My niece and nephew are growing up so fast and it is hard to not be there. One day there will be a day and that day will be worth everything.
Same, due to covid it'll be 3 years this summer since I've been home 😢 obviously, not the worst possible situation to be in, but really disappointing. On a more positive note, the ana luisa sale allowed me to send some gifts 😂
I am part of the Oxford Astra Zeneca vaccine phase 3 trial in the US. I had my # come up to be vaccinated through work (essential worker). I found out i have had the vaccine this way! I am praying for you both.
I haven’t seen my dad or stepmum since 2018 and can’t see me seeing them anytime soon. They live nearly 3 hours away from me so I can only imagine how hard it is to be thousands of miles apart. Thank god for technology!! Sending love and best wishes from the UK X
You guys have been my traveling during this crazy season and been learning to cook Korean thanks to you guys. Hope you can see you family soon. Sarah, I wanted to recommend “Where the crawdads sing” by Delia Owens. One of the best books I read on 2020.
My husband hasn’t seen his parents in two years and one of his sisters in 5! We were also supposed to go see them last summer.. we will truly appreciate flying once we can do it again. 🙏🏼
Ahhh, I know that feeling. My family and I are living in Brazil but we're from Portugal and now we can't even fly there because the borders are closed. We don't even know if they'll be opened by summer...
Wow the price of Canadian quarantine is crazy!! For 3 days 2000 dollars? That is the price of a suite in a five star hotel!!🤦🏻♀️ So sorry to hear about you possibly not being able to go back this year either😢😢 *virtual hugs*
Enjoyed this video so much! I hope things change regarding the current "situation " and hopefully there is still a way for you to be able to go to Canada. Much Love ! ❤️
You are right, this is to dissuade travellers because many of them were not self isolating and risking people’s lives. In my zone in NB, we are in lockdown due to people not respecting the rules and infecting others. The problem is that unlike Korea where people respect and listen to rules, some Canadians don’t do that. I am a teacher and we have been doing online learning right now until lockdown is over! Chin up, it will be over soon!
I can’t even believe so many people traveling would violate the quarantine period 🤦🏻♀️ In Korea you MUST isolate for 14 days and install an app that will track your movements and they check up on you randomly. You’ll get in huge trouble if you violate quarantine here.
Calling in from NB again. Seoul’s winter is weird. Our winter is weird too. Warm all the time. We had a storm last week - first one all winter. I think NS is going to get hit with one tonight! (Us less so). I really empathize with you Sarah about your inability to come to Canada. Even in Canada there are restrictions. Right now I can’t really even travel to other cities in the province, and I haven’t been able to see my sister in Ontario (borders are closed to nonessential travel). I know that’s not the same as the crazy cost of the quarantine for international travellers. Our vaccine program is really slow to roll out so I think the govt is trying to keep us safe from the UK and South African variants until we get ppl vaccines. None of that helps your homesickness - and it being February doesn’t make it easier! I hope you can keep doing your self care. Glad Kyuho had a good time with his family ... hic! 🥴
Kyuho and I had a similar weekend hahahha, I went and stayed with my Mum for a few days while my step-dad was away on business. Things are getting more and more serious here in Toronto, I'm getting worried about my older family members, so thank you from your videos! They really are a great escape for a few minutes, I'm glad you're both staying safe and that Kyuho's parents seem to also we doing well.
2000$ is for the whole 3 day process (i think): PCR test + food + security to prevent you to leaving your room. Then you have to quarantine for 14 days after that.
I am currently in home quarantine here in Korea, I can confirm that they are very strict with the rules. I had to leave on the second day to get tested for covid and they immediately tracked my location and called my guardian to confirm my purpose of leaving.
I'm not sure why, but I really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for sharing....really sucks about Canada, I think as hopeful as we were about 2021 - I don't think covid is done messing with us yet. Life is not gonna go back for a while 😔
I’m from Canada and our cases have been so frustrating :( I’m happy about the $2k but I’m so sorry for you!! I was in an LDR from 🇨🇦🇰🇷 for 2 years so o understand the frustration. Sending love !
i had tickets for a flight in march a year ago, which i cancelled. this video made me check my voucher status. all good until at least the end of 2021. hopefully i can fly again by then.
I hear your frustration...Canadian living in the US. Haven't seen my kids/family in a year and yet they are less than 200 miles away. I understand why, but...Argh! I am lucky enough to be getting my second vaccine today (for work) but...just miss my family.
I'm holding out hope Canada will change the rules again before the summer, we have been changing rules pretty rapidly and Canadians are complaining pretty loudly about the hotel quarantine. I'm hoping to see my mom this summer too 😢
Hi there! Sarah and Kyuho, I’m so sorry that your trip to Canada has been put on hold for the moment. It will happen for you. Perhaps at Christmas? How awesome would that be? It was so nice to see Kyuho with his parents. It was happy and sad at the same time, because Sarah was missing at the table. I cannot wait for this pandemic to be over and life can get back to whatever the new “normal” will be. Please take care! Thank you for bringing happiness through your videos into our homes on a weekly basis! Praying for happiness and peace for you both, always!
Christmas would be lovely too~ though there’s always more of a chance of COVID/flu outbreaks during the winter months, which is just one reason we always preferred to travel there in the summer. Unless both countries have reached herd immunity by then, which would be pretty amazing. Thank you so much for watching 🥺♥️
Hang in there, I have hope that all will be well soon! These new rules of flying are a pain. I live in Minnesota USA...wanted to go to California this summer to visit my friends there. I have my fingers crossed it will happen. Love your content, you are a wonderful couple. Hugs! PS: Almost forgot, you have more snow than we do....we wondered where all our snow went to.....hahahaha
I feel you guys. Me and my boyfriend are in different countries and cannot visit each other until the restrictions are severely eased between our countries. It was 6 months since I saw him the last time.
That is SO expensive! They must be housing you in the Ritz Carlton or something, VIP suite for 3 days lol? What's the explanation behind only Kyuho visiting the parents? I felt bad Sarah cause you didn't/couldn't go along? Trying to limit covid exposure would be my guess?
I feel your pain, in the UK anyone arriving from 33 red countries have to isolate in a government hotel for 10 days and the cost is £1750 each - it includes food, the tests and I think unlimited tea, coffee and drinks but it's still ridiculously expensive. It's to discourage people from travelling. I must admit Asia has done everything so well and I don't get why other countries (my own included) can't learn from example but hey ho there ya go - Beemo is extra cute in today's video
I am in Canada and haven’t seen my parents who are two provinces away in a year and a half … I completely understand your frustration 😥 also it is minus 34 here today so it’s too cold to even go outside 🥶
Sarah- another book you might want to read if you haven’t already is called The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. I feel your sadness with the discouraging travel logistics during this pandemic. COVID has impacted us all in some way. Thanks for all your videos! Take care of yourselves!
OH my goodness, Nightingale is one of my absolute FAVORITE books of all time, and what got me into this ‘World World 2 Historical Fiction’ kick these last couple of years 🙌
That’s neat! The Nightingale is also one of my favorite books. I’m usually hesitant to recommend books but when you mentioned reading All The Light We Cannot See, I thought you would enjoy The Nightingale book. In case you’re looking for other enjoyable reads, Here are some historical fiction books about Hawaii: Molokai by Alan Brennert Honolulu by Alan Brennert Daughter of Molokai by Alan Brennert Picture Bride by Mike Malaghan More World War II historical fiction books: The One Man by Andrew Gross Karolina’s Twins by Ronald Balson We were the lucky ones by Georgia Hunter The orphan’s tale by Pam Jenoff The tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris Other weird or interesting books: The Radium Girls: the dark story of America’s shining women by Kate Moore The Feather Thief: beauty, obsession, and the natural history heist of the century by Kirk Wallace Johnson True Story: Murder, Memoir, Mea Culpa by Michael Finkel (then watch the movie afterwards) Brain on fire: my month of madness by Susannah Cahalan (then watch the movie afterwards) Mr. Penumbra’s 24 Hours Bookstore by Robin Sloan The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh All Women and Springtime by Brandon Jones (about North Korea) Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult A Night Divided by Jennifer Nielsen (about Berlin Wall) Born a Crime: stories from a South African childhood by Trevor Noah The Road to Jonestown: Jim Jones and the People’s Temple by Jeff Guinn Happy reading!
I also wanted to let you know it’s appreciated when you share what you guys are reading and watching. I looked into books about Chernobyl after you shared that it was a book you got kyuho to read. I hadn’t heard of Chernobyl until then so thank you.
Oh my gosh, thank you SO much for these recommendations! They all look fascinating! Also, if you read and enjoyed The Tattooist of Auschwitz, I reallyyy recommend ‘Cilka’s Journey’ by Heather Morris-it’s our personal favorite of the two books.
Hahha I love the book Cilka’s Journey! That made me smile. I thought about adding it to the list but decided the list was too long already. Don’t hesitate to recommend more books. Thank you for your communication; it’s been rewarding. Thank you for sharing your life. It must feel vulnerable at times. I enjoy watching your videos, your respectful relationship towards each other (it’s lovely watching people treat each other with care and respect and I noticed I laugh when you guys laugh), the culture and travel, the healthy habits, the reminders to clean my own house, work out, balance eating nutritious food with not as healthy food and go for walks. Take care!
Loving the artistic flair of sarah's handwriting covering everything now!
Ahh, thank you! 🥺 I’m having a little too much fun with it! 😅
I know how you feel about Canada... I'm in the same boat. This summer will mark my 3rd year away from home. Now we have a son and it kills me that my parents can't meet him. The highlight of my week! 😍
Thank you so much ☺️☺️
Same here! 😊
Same here! 😊
Me too !
Oh it's Sunday again. My days are a blur and your videos help me rest my week.
I moved abroad in July from the US and naively thought I would be able to go back for Christmas to visit. Now even this summer is out of the question as well. I can't even imagine what two years without seeing family is like, sending socially distant hugs!

Your video felt extra cozy this week!
Hi guys, I just woke up and you are an excellent company, have a nice day
Awww, good morning~ ☺️
I feel your pain. My family is in Vancouver Canada but my husband and I live in Barcelona Spain. It's officially been 2 years since I've been home 😔
I lived in Seoul for 5 years and came back to NS in 2018. Don't lose hope -wait to Fall. I remember how much after 2 years I missed. Canada will still be here. Nova Scotia will still be here.🚄⛵✈🌠

Ohhh, thank you so much!! When I first started, I always used the glass sliding door as a mirror to monitor my form 😅
Your stray cats r so cute 🥺
Shake Shack is the best and they do localization in different countries so well !
Yesss! They’re so yum 😋
I look forward to every video and they always made better by the frequent appearances of the handsome Beemo! Never worry that he’s “in the way.” 😹 Y’all are such fun to watch. Love to all three of you from here in the USA. ❤️💋❤️💋❤️💋

I'm stuck here in Japan, and I haven't seen my family since 2019 either, since they live in Europe. And I probably won't get to see them till 2022 at the earliest! :/
Every vid you guys do feel thraputic to me!!!👍👍
I flew back home after slightly more than 1 year of being in Korea for a few months' stay. I also had to pay around the same amount for the quarantine, but at least it is a 14 day stay and not just 3 days. The actual costs are actually more, because the cost of covid testing during the stay, and also an additional test before returning to Korea, are not included. But after last visiting home end of 2019, I felt like I really had to go back for a while.
yeah, in these times i am everyday so thankful that can see my parents every day
I know how you guys feel! I’m in the same situation... the restriction costs are crazy high!
In Singapore, 2 wks' stay at a dedicated facility (if you are lucky, you be transported to a deluxe hotel like those 5-star beachside hotels) including the C-19 swab tests would come to about S$2,200.

So glad I caught this upload before heading out for groceries!
Cute handwritings catch my eyes!✍🏻 so so nice in between the footage!!☺️
Sorry to hear sad update! Xoxo
Ohhh, thank you so much 🥺♥️ I’m having so much fun with the iPad, haha 😳
Totally agree. I don't understand why the travellers are required to be "double-tested" - i.e., presenting negative test results, but in the meantime have to be tested again upon arriving Canada and stay in a designated hotel. I also haven't been able to visit my family in HK for almost 2 years...
I agree with the double testing, because it’s still possible to catch the virus on the flight. But that price for just 3 days in a hotel is pretty nuts imo.
Ahh yes my Sunday morning video! Yay!! Glad you guys are doing ok!
Sarah your skin and hair are glowing !!!!
i love it when you upload, it makes me so happy every time🥺😊 your place looks so cozy and pretty with all those plants!~~
Ohhh, that one was recommended to me several times! Thanks! I’ll have to check it out :)
I have sensitive ears and will try your suggestion of gold plated silver earrings at Ana Luisa. Hope you get to see your family soon :)
Read that book a couple years ago and it made such an impression- I think it’s one that will stick with me for life!
Such a beautiful book ♥️
i recently found this channel and i've been watching all your videos,,, i love them and love beemo too.

That’s the same here in Australia, 14 days $2000 but it’s working and has kept Australia safe
14 days quarantine for $2,000 is definitely understandable, but 3 days for $2,000...😬💦
@@2hearts1seoul yeah that’s true I also don’t understand what 3 days is supposed to do.... like 14 days is so if you are negative when you first arrive but positive a week later you don’t go out into the public and spread it 🧐
Love that grey sweater, Sarah.
Your weekly vid upload is my sanity break in these crazy times. 😌😌😌
Shake Shack! 🥰 I wish you could get to fly back to Canada before 2021 ends..
Always love watching your videos with a snack and some tea! 💕
Awww, love that ☺️♥️
@@2hearts1seoul 😊💕
Sarah I really understand what you feel. I want to go see my family so badly right now. My niece and nephew are growing up so fast and it is hard to not be there. One day there will be a day and that day will be worth everything.
Same, due to covid it'll be 3 years this summer since I've been home 😢 obviously, not the worst possible situation to be in, but really disappointing. On a more positive note, the ana luisa sale allowed me to send some gifts 😂
Love all the kitty appearances! And that is an expensive three days.
The start on my Sunday morning routine has start. Love your videos on Sundays.
I am part of the Oxford Astra Zeneca vaccine phase 3 trial in the US. I had my # come up to be vaccinated through work (essential worker). I found out i have had the vaccine this way! I am praying for you both.
Great video yet again
I haven’t seen my dad or stepmum since 2018 and can’t see me seeing them anytime soon. They live nearly 3 hours away from me so I can only imagine how hard it is to be thousands of miles apart. Thank god for technology!! Sending love and best wishes from the UK X

I’m reading “all the light we cannot see” too! Really good read
Ohhh! It’s so good-I enjoyed it so much 🥺
Yeah, looking at how things are going, my parents wont be able to come to Japan for my graduation, which really sucks.
Will there be in-person grad in Japan? So lucky!
You guys have been my traveling during this crazy season and been learning to cook Korean thanks to you guys. Hope you can see you family soon. Sarah, I wanted to recommend “Where the crawdads sing” by Delia Owens. One of the best books I read on 2020.
Oh my gosh, I read that book when I was in Canada last time and absolutely LOVED it 🙌
My husband hasn’t seen his parents in two years and one of his sisters in 5! We were also supposed to go see them last summer.. we will truly appreciate flying once we can do it again. 🙏🏼
in the last couple of months i haven’t got any notification when you guys uploaded new video :(
We aren’t surprised...TH-cam constantly has this issue 😩
Much Love ! ❤️
Love your sweater.
Thank you~ ☺️
You are right, this is to dissuade travellers because many of them were not self isolating and risking people’s lives.
Yup~ same with Korea. All that, plus food, a test upon arrival, and a test at day 13 or 14, and it’s $1,400 for 14 days.
I am currently in home quarantine here in Korea, I can confirm that they are very strict with the rules. I had to leave on the second day to get tested for covid and they immediately tracked my location and called my guardian to confirm my purpose of leaving.
Sarah so sorry you are not able to travel Canada 😢 hope you guys doing great, best wishes for you🐈♥️
Big snowstorm tonight in Nova Scotia have a good week!!
At least the voucher isn't expiring. Don't lose hope! I can feel it you will be able to fly to Canada this year!
Definitely very relieved about that! Got that 10% hope for this year, but 🥺
I'm not sure why, but I really enjoy watching your videos.
Aww, thank you so much~ I hope we can all safely see our loved ones soon :)
Haha! The same for Toronto snow-wise, apparently!
What courage to leave home in the snow !!!
I must admit Asia has done everything so well and I don't get why other countries (my own included) can't learn from example but hey ho there ya go - Beemo is extra cute in today's video
im also not sure if ill be able to go to my home country this summer😭😭
So many people in the same boat 😞 It sucks~
I am in Canada and haven’t seen my parents who are two provinces away in a year and a half … I completely understand your frustration 😥 also it is minus 34 here today so it’s too cold to even go outside 🥶
I’m guessing your from Alberta based on the weather. It’s been so damn cold 😑

@@TheRockinerica ahhh, dang. I think you guys have it worse. I hope you continue to stay safe and warm.

Take care!
Aahhhhh missed opportunity! That Lady and the Tramp moment but fry instead of spaghetti. Hahahaha You're my fave YT couple tbh 🥰
Hahah, exactly what I thought of 😂
