Leigh Bardugo said that there will be unpublished moments of them and their individual origins. As I understand it, the main events of the books will be adaptaded in the next seasons, so I think it's safe to watch the first one without finishing their duology.

It’s supposed to rain tomorrow and get a little cooler, but then it’s supposed to get warm again, so hoping some green things will pop out! Some banchan stores allow you to bring your own containers, but this one doesn’t. We re-use these containers for cat food and water dishes around the neighborhood 🐈
