They do have a pressure sensor in them the buttons are for adjusting them to maker them tighter or to loosen them. Michael J Fox tried them on. There is a more affordable Powerlace shoe that doesn't use electronics but still auto tighten.

I got the adapt bb wolf 🐺 grey aka the mag version, and they have the exact same motor in them I paid $500 and they are the only shoe other than the mags that I can tie them selves with the same color scheme so I get to experience everything that you’re experiencing for a very very small portion of the price
