Hi Steve, Thanks for the personal message explaining how you got it all sorted in the end... Maybe you could leave a followup comment here so the good folks watching TH-cam are similarly in the loop?
I have replaced the floppy drive on my XP60 at least 6 times...I have the Gotek and can't get it to work! Although I have the chinese software so I don't know what's going on after the repartitioning, that worked fortunately....it's guesswork right now could use some help.
I have noticed that @ 1:10 the #1 pin on the drive does not correspond to the #1 pin on the mother board because the red wire on my floppy is on the out side as opposed to the inside. ¿Can you help me with that issue?
I don't know if you are talking about the drive, or your keyboard when you say 'motherboard'... Even if I did, I am sorry but I don't have your schematics to consult.
Clarification: ¿Is pin #1 on the drive (emulator or otherwise) connected to pin #1 on the mother board as well as all other pins respectively? This is new to me so please pardon my lack of understanding. The reason I ask is because you say that the red wire is pin #1 and it is located in the in side of the drive. This is not the case with my drive, which has pin #1 on the out side of the unit. So, for practical purposes do the pins look at their corresponding numbers between mother board and drive?
