Motorways of Pakistan are a network of multiple-lane, high-speed, controlled-access highways mostly in Punjab, which are owned, maintained, and operated federally by Pakistan's National Highway Authority. As of Feb 2021, 2429 km of motorways are operational, while an additional 1312 km are under construction or planned.

M-9 is disgrace to moterways, they have as usual made mockery of people living in urban Sindh. I have never seen a moterway without proper fencing and with rickshaws and motorcycles on moterways and also vehicles coming on wrong side.

There is only 1 gt road which is national highway N-5. Starting from landi kotal (pak afghan border) and ends at karachi, passing through peshawar, nowshera, kamra, Lawrencepur, hasan abdal, wah cant, taxila, rawalpindi, rawat, gujar khan, sohawa, jhelum, kharian, gujrat, gujranwala, wazirabad, muridke, shahdra, lahore and then turn towards okara, sahiwal, khanewal, multan, bahawalpur, rahim yar khan, sadiqabad, ghotki, dherki, daulatpur, hyderabad and finally ends at karachi. Its total length is 1819 kilometer.
