    This video should be on ToneX one pedal instructions. Really helped to fix "doubled amp" issue. Tanks a lot!

    At last a detailed explanation on how to use this software. The tip on syncing the input trim within the software and the Tonex One pedal was crucial, thank you so much.

      Great to hear that it helped you! Yes, the trim is one of the often-overlooked issues that can make the sound so bad. Make sure to subscribe, as I'll be releasing a new video about recording with the Tonex One. Thanks!

    Wow. Thank You!
    Ive been waiting for this video so long!
    I would have returned the pedal if I could have, the Quick Start PDF is a joke!
    IK, what is so hard about uploading an Accurate Quick Start Guide in English?
    IK should link to this video from their User Manual PDF.
    I would often get the double amp sound but nobody had any answers.
    Many times on teh internets people will block good info,
    or post bad info to frustrate and confuse users...

      Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad the video was helpful to you.
      I completely understand your frustration - the lack of a proper Quick Start Guide from IK is definitely a challenge for many users.
      Hopefully, this video fills in the gaps and makes things easier.
      If you have any other questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask. I'm here to help!
      IK Multimedia are more than welcome to link this video to their user guide :)

    Does anybody have an idea, why I cant control the global windows volume when I use the Tonex One as interface? If I try to change the volume of windows in the bottom right corner nothing happens

    • @GearVibe2024

      Thank you so much for your kind words!
      The issue you are experiencing is a well-known one. When the pedal is connected as an audio interface, the volume can only be controlled from the app you are using. For example, if you're playing a backing track on TH-cam, you can adjust the volume directly in the TH-cam player. If you're using a media player on Mac, you can adjust the volume within the player itself.
      On Windows, if you're using an online metronome with Google Chrome, you can use Windows volume mixer to lower the browser volume.
      Hopefully, IK Multimedia will address this issue in their next update.

    Very helpful thank you! One thing that I can't understand is why many listening samples from the captures sound sooo different from what you hear on your tonex one (I understand guitar and input trim can change the tone but not that drastically!).

    • @GearVibe2024
      @GearVibe2024  27 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Thank you for your comment, and I'm glad to help. You’re right, there is a really big difference.
      These issues are related to pitch, volume, and also the different quality processing capabilities provided by the software and the pedal itself.
      In any case, the solution is to pick an amp you like and gradually tweak it until you find the tone that suits you, by going back and forth between the modeler and the pedal.
      The advantage is that once you’ve found the right tone, you don’t have to worry about it anymore.

  • @DannsTheMan
    @DannsTheMan หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    How do you achieve the step after adding the FX to an auditioned tone, when you want to copy the tone WITH tweaked FX back onto the pedal? Your video cuts before you’ve done this step, and I’m unclear where the affected tone is presented on the Librarian screen to drag it back onto the pedal. Are you able to help please? 🤗

    • @GearVibe2024
      @GearVibe2024  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sure, I can definitely help! 😊
      This is the easy part, which is why it’s not shown in the video. All you need to do after changing all the parameters and FX is to save what you’ve created. You do this by clicking the arrow button next to the preset name.
      After that, go back to the Librarian screen. Notice that in the top-left corner, there are two modes: Tone Model and, next to it, Preset mode. Click on Preset, and you’ll see what you saved in the table below.
      Simply drag it to one of the channels (A/B or Stomp).
      Let me know if you need further clarification! 😊

    Please HELP, this is driving me nuts!
    I’m used to recording with a helix floor on just garageband. Never had an issue.
    Using tonex (full size) I can’t get my wet signal on playback ☹️!!! Just dry flat guitar sound, no amp/cab or fx on playback.
    For the purposes of elimination: yes, my connection setup is accurate.
    -Tonex visible on GarageBand as input/output and mac settings.
    -interface mode selected in global settings, and usb set to ‘dual’ not stereo.
    - interface mode engaged (flashing green light). Tried also to on solid green to capture library tones. No luck.
    I hit record and play guitar. I’m hearing the sound I want. Then playback - and again, flat unprocessed response. So frustrating!!! Feel like I’ve tried everything.

    • @GearVibe2024
      @GearVibe2024  หลายเดือนก่อน

      From what I’ve read online, users in a similar situation switched to Stereo mode if they didn’t need the dry signal.

    Thank you for your video! One thing I can't figure out is how to control the volume when the pedal is connected to my mac as an audio interface. I can control it with "output" knob in ToneX software, but not the pedal itself. And when I set global audio output of my mac to ToneX ONE I cannot control the output volume as well. My goal is to start some metronome or backing track on my mac and control the volume of them and the preset. Did you face that issue?

    What do I do if "Tonex One in 1" isn't an option for the instrument input param? It just said "input 1" and "input 2", neither do anything

    • @GearVibe2024
      @GearVibe2024  หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you see Input 1 and Input 2 for the instrument input, it means you haven’t selected your Tonex as your Output Device (and it’s showing you the input options from your interface). Please select your Tonex as your Output Device, and you’ll be good to go!

      @GearVibe2024 thanks! It wasn't that, I had selected the tonex device. I figured it out: the tonex program needed a microphone permission from the system, but it wasn't smart enough to prompt me for the permission.
