- Join myself and Douglas as we pick up a new (to me) Vauxhall Zafira A (1998-2005) GSI or OPC in Opel language! There is a pretty good reason I've bought this car which I will share with you along the way! We'll also be doing a number of things to the car so get subscribed and join the journey!!!

Douglas is back! The Zafira makes complete sense.
What a beast i own one its one of the best cars ive ever owned and easily tuned
Hi, good to see your also into Vauxhall Zafira’s, they are amazing MPV / cars.
I’ve owned almost every make & model of the Mk1 Zafira, from active, breeze, Club, design & higher spec Elegance models, as well as making my own bespoke modded Addition’s, upgrading exhaust etc, apart from GSi as they hold there value / money & cost of insurance.
1.6 good engine in Astra, but underpowered in a 7 seat minibus, usually suffer with head gasket, Valve stems or worn rings.
The 1.8 / 2.0t GSI I think used in SAAB is good strong pokey engine,
2.0 T/ diesels are vey good too for. Height weight etc of a MPV.
The rare 2.2 petrol Engine is amazing but mine was a Auto, sports mode was cool though.
Th rear independent seating folding flat or 60/40 rear seats, amazing idea.
The Mk2 in my eyes are complete poo, apart from the VXR spec.
Look forward to more videos of your GSi, I so want one when I can afford to find & buy a decent unmolested / ragged the crap out of specimen, like you found.

Oh I also forgot to mention, look up the Subaru Traviq . . . . . . Very rare & a total animal . . . . .
I’m sure they did a GSI version of the Astra G. I seen many black and light blue ones
The ultimate council estate dad car. Not sure there is anything more depressing then a Zafira
It’s actually alright for what it’s worth!
Even my co worker is more reliable than a Porsche Boxster... Owkey, i lie. He isn't.
Had 2 Zafira a opc's. Fun and fine cars. I miss them.
3:28 🤣
wow.. No saggy roof headliner
Yes! Hopefully it doesn’t start to sag! Going to keep de humidifier bags in the car to help prevent it!
MIRACLE!. Mines sagging.
Also look out for leaking rocker cover gasket, they all leak. Coil packs die too unless a good brand like Bosch,Lucas etc and change plugs every 20k at least to be safe.
Yeh I've got that problem.
You paid money….. I mean real money….?
Lol yes. Actual money!!! 😂🙈
£4k. Wow that’s strong money. Hopefully it’ll go on for many miles to come.
I paid 600 quid for my Elegance 2002 2.2lt recently had to put new nearside drive shaft and lower wishbone really easy job.@@CharlieDrives
