The purpose of a trim kit is to cover you shower valve and the hole in which where the shower valve protrudes. The shower valve connects to the shower hot and cold water supply pipes.
Dont forget that the shower valve is also the place where your max shower water temperature can be controlled.

These trim kits come in a wide variety of styles and finishes. Shower trim kits are simple to install and really can update the look inside your shower.
All you need for tools would be a phillips screw driver. The allen wrench used in our video came with the kit. With just a little patience almost anyone can take on this DIY project. Just follow the steps in our video and soon you'll have some new bling in your shower.
