You did a good job duplicating those knives, but this is in no way a 'restoration'. New blades, scales, springs...these are new, very nice-looking knives.

Sometimes, restoration is not possible.
The steel parts were so badly damaged.
If the item in such condition is very precious, then the best thing to do is just to carefully clean it to preserve it the way it is, since the restoration is impossible.
