After a year of so of working with this desk I agree that the table top is REALLY vulnerable for moist, scratches and bumping in to it. Also my top came with some unknown stains that I can't remove. Do I recommend this desk? Yeah if your budget is low then yes, if you have more to spend then no.
Thanks for the review! I'll be looking to get this when it's back in stock. Had a question though, when the beveled side is facing you, is the gap in the back wide enough to pass the plug of a cable through? Looks like it MIGHT be possible, but I wouldn't want to have to take the desk top off every time I add a new peripheral or monitor, etc. Thanks!
I don't understand the point of the back mesh. It turns a 31 inch desk into a two feet desk that can hardly fit a gaming monitor and keyboard with a wrist rest. Air flow? Gamers spend hundreds of dollars on overkill coolers and fans. A 60 degree CPU doesn't need a desk mesh. I dunno it's just a bit strange.
Hot air rises - cold air sinks. Having mesh at the back means you can pull more air from below leading to more efficient cycling of the existing cool air in the room as well new cold air from an AC. This is especially noticable in smaller rooms - sure it's not much but its a nice touch
thank you for this concise and thorough review. I've been interested in this desk for awhile and came to youtube looking for reviews ... after spending 13 minutes watching some fuckwit provide no information on the desk I clicked on this. Glad I did! Congratulations on completing the assignment.
This thing wobbled like a drunk guy @ 3am when i tested it at Ikea. I went Team Trotten instead. No black tabletop (only white or beige) but at least I wont have to wipe my tabletop every 2 minutes like i would have had to with this fingerprint magnet. I really wanted this desk to, its sexy as hell but there's a reason it's $270 US. ($250 in Canada actually..which is strange) Its too light for one and i could push it around with my pinky finger! For $100 more i get a much sturdier manual sit/stand desk and it has a 10 year warranty as a kicker. Sorry Utespelare... you looked good from far but far from good, i had to pass up close :P
Just picked one up today, also have an older 63” x 30” IKEA desk that I picked up some new Olov legs for, probably going to L-shape that baby next to this guy. Ultimately, I'd like a Deskhaus standing desk and perhaps a Skogsta table (92" x 39") to replace this setup in the future -- I just didn't want to dump the money ($3k+ for the Deskhaus unless there's a sale, $700 for the Skogsta) when it's just so easy to keep it cheap with the aforementioned setup. I literally don't care what happens to either of these desks, Jim Hacksaw Duggan could split them in two and yell "HOOOOO" and I'd just go get another one from IKEA 😂
it is very sturdy and very strong, the feet of the table are metal and designed to hold off much pressure and weight, i have one myself and it is definetly doing the job!
Hello I have a question. How many centimeters is this desk not counting the net in the depth of the desk. or how many centimeters is the mesh itself in depth
hello, will you help me in choosing a desk because I don't know which proposition will be better. The first suggestion is UTESPELARE. And the second suggestion is a bacant top and 5 olov legs. Please help me quickly.

Is there any chance you know the distance is from the left desk legs to the right. Working with a tight space and don’t think this would fit depending on the desk frame size.

Minor flaws of the mesh but can be helped The mesh can get fur dust and debris to get stuck on them if left for too long Solution find a roller that has those sticky paper at ikea too and one a week or once a month wipe the mesh with the roller or find a small brush that can also be helpful
Clear, concise, straightforward. Thanks for this review.
I wish all review were this concise!

want this desk so bad but my room is barely about 160cm long ☹️
This desk is a huge upgrade for me cause my old school desk is just about 1m long. I‘ll have plenty of space for my pc, schoolwork and hobby stuff

The gap is less than one inch so you might have to run the cables through the back if you decide to have the edge with the indent facing you.
This is £75 atm. But it’s just slightly too big for my room sadly. But what a great deal and price
75 quid? It lists for £150 here in the UK!

This is is selling for 200€ I remember when the normal price was around 120€
I just ordered the desk. Picking it up today so excited!
Hey what do you think of it
great vid, was looking to buy this, i think you sold me
is the depth 80cm including the metal mesh? or is it 80cm depth + metal mesh? i hope you understand my question
Would it be able to hold a clamp style monitor arm or light mount on the backside without tons of flex?
Cool review! Many thanks!
It's funny seeing how much the prices change in just a year. It's $269.99 USD now. xD
That wild, it's $189 AUD here, amazing.
150 USD in Chile

Exactly. Wihh out the mesh this would have been a good option for me. Will have to look elsewhere..

Is it possible to install monitor arm to the table ?

What speaker is that on your desk? looks like a sound bar..

Now that's it's $269 is it still worth it?
Can you put monitors on the mesh?
Does not look like a good situation for monitor arms with that thin mesh. That was a ton of wobble too. I have folding leg tables with less wobble.
you could put it in a corner of a room. makes it less wobbly

What's the point of those grey little feet at the bottom? Wouldn't it be better to remove them for more stability/sturdiness?
If the floor has flaws and it's not lineup you use that to get stable.
but wat is this from 0:41 desk and something idk what is this

see where he routes the cables through put your mounts there just unscrew the back mesh part first before hand.

anyone know the dimensions of the mesh part, says with mesh its 31 1/2 inches

does it wobble

How hard is it to adust the height if you have already fully built the desk? Do you have to take everything off and adjust it?
no it actually is easier than what you might think, and no you dont have to take everything off, the adjustable legs have their on screws!
The desk should have been deeper. 80 cm is not much imo.
