- In this tutorial, I'll be showing you step by step on how to assemble the Utespelare Gaming Desk from IKEA. This IKEA desk is pretty easy to build but if you need some help, this video will guide you along with the instructions.

I don't know how to thank you enough for this tutorial. You are a big champ, man! Thank you very much for it!
Thank you! I just finished assembling this 30.5kg desk (I'm 51kg female🥴) and I'm super tired. 😩 Your tutorial helped me a lot though! However I only fixed 12/14 screws under the table. There are no holes between the 2 table tops (the one with screen and without). I left them like that and there doesn't seem to be a problem.
Did you have any problem with 2 two screws because i couldnt fit them the holes were to far

Much appreciated, brother.

Thank you kind man for this great tutorial
Thanks alot ..it was really helpful:)
Is it sturdy/stable?
like hell
You legend! Thank you 🔥
My hero, thank you
great video. thank you
Thank you so much your the best
A question: can I mount the support with 2 monitors without the table not deforming in the future? Anyone who has already assembled it, let us know your feedback. Thanks!
yeah i just got this desk and had the same question. wanted to know from some people before buying a dual monitor mount
They say it can carry up to 50 kilos
Yeah no problems. It clamps to the metal you will need a monitor arm with a wide (4.5cm) clamp. Mine didn't fit
THANK YOU!
Thanks, homie 👍
5:52 I think what was worth mentioning is to not put the bolts in fully into alignment holes. And make adjustments as the holes do not align up with the bolts flawlessly. This was an issue I had with the mesh part of the back of the table. This was edited out of the video probably worth explaining next time.
I do and it’s frustrating
Oh yeah, best to tighten after all are inserted, as a rule of thumb
My holes for a leg on the desktop are off by an inch or so. I’ve untightened everything and even tried reverse building it from taking the legs and loosely attaching them to the desktop and it’s still off. There’s no way any amount of tightening the supports would squeeze enough space to get the other legs to line up with the holes. Super pissed right now haha 😂
Did anyone try having the tabletop indent facing yourself was there much difference?
Thanks for the tutorial.
How long did it take you to build ?
Teşekkür ederim 😊
thanks a lot!
thank you man
thanks man!!!
Thanks
Merci beaucoup 👍
What is the measurement between the table legs? I'm planning to put a drawer cabinet underneath and want to know the leg area. thanks XD
Hmm I am assembling it now and the legs are adjustable . I will put a small drawer under that I got from Ikea too with 27 inches height.
i want to install a logitech steeling wheel on the front of the desk. for that I need 4 cm from the beginning of the table to the steel bar of the table. Do you think there is anough space for it?
hey man i have a question, could i a mount a monitor arm in the cable mangament gap or is there not enough room?
You can you will just have to unbolt the wire mesh part and then put it back on after putting the monitor mount on
You are a stud! Thank you!
yes lad
8:18 why it is closed?
You feed the cables from the top and close when you're done, open if you need to change something
Hice el pedido y el palo que unes las patas la soldadura doblada, una semana esperando el pedido🤣🤣🤣
Thanks.
Does it come with the allen key ?
Comes with both as mentioned in the intro.
Very nice, thank you.
Hi, I have a dual 27" monitor setup but I'm looking to put my pc on the same desk instead of placing it below or on a separate drawer unit. Is the Ikea Utespelare wide enough? Appreciate any help, thanks!
The width of this gaming desk is about 64 inches and the depth is 31 1/2 inches so you shouldn't have an issues.
It's definitely wide enough, but you might want to use a double monitor arm if you aren't already
it might be easier to assemble the cable mesh first, the flip the table.
I've tried to align the metal rack thing to the desk but no matter how many times I adjust it the screw holes don't align with eachother, it's either the 3 align together and the other 2 don't, or the 2 align together and the other 3 don't...
Hi puca did you find a solution ? The same for me
@@hasnaamehry6301 I found the solution to my problem and I admit it was rather silly, this was my first time assembling a piece if furniture on my own.
In the box there's two long metal pieces that connect to each leg of the table. I had those flipped the wrong way, there's about a centimetre or so in the difference between the holes when they're not flipped the right way, I hope this helps your problem too!
can i reajust height one by one while desk is up , without flipping it over?
Did you manage to do this? Lol built mine but feel would be better readjusting one down…
Is it legit 160cm? Looks small to me
It is, it looks small in the camera, but it is large. I got one of this, very large, but when I took a picture to show off my setup, it looks smaller than what you precieved in real life.
thanks
So the grill portion of the desk isn't removable? I have monitor mount that's uses a chonky c-clamp to slot in and clamp so it might not be a good option.
I'll have to check it in person.
No it's not
@@javierconstanzo7750 shame. might go for a secret lab desk then.
Hi, question about the desk. I'm worried about the slit towards the end of the desk where my monitor would be. I have a regular setup, no mounting arms, so could my monitor base hang over the slit (it would be just about where I'd put it) and maybe cause some monitor instability? Or am I worried about nothing? Thanks.
You can always put something beneath like a black wooden base
W video.
Any know the distance between the legs?
I’m probably a bit slow, but what’s the purpose of the mesh?
Cable management.
U shud do a test on sturdiness
Yeah, I’d say you left out a few steps that anyone who has the instructions will figure out (the top bars have to be oriented correctly with the evenly spaced holes in “the front” and the close to edge holes in “the back”.
Also my holes for one leg on the desk top were about an inch off. I’m either going to force it to work or just toss this thing back at IKEA.
there is uspposed to be a gap between the tabletop and the mesh
Please IKEA paint the screws BLACK this is a gaming desk
Well it fits perfectly in my room with the silver ones.
Nah painted hardware is whack
No I don't think it's going to stand out that much. Most of the screws are under the desk
How about no. It gets scratched and worn. If you want it painted just spray paint it yourself.
schade das man bei hunt nie mitspielen kann (alle plätze belegt) da sollte man sich fragen ob man so neue follower bekommt xD ich werds nicht tun und anderen auch davon abraten
Is it possible to not add the middle piece with no holes? I am asking, coz that way you’d have multiple room underneath the desk, like sliding a wheeled storage cabinet all the way.
I know without it you can’t install the cable management net, but that’s okay. As long as it doesn’t affect the stability and weight distribution.
you're refering to the one metal part thats under the desk and in the back?
@@vasileiospgr yeah! & I have taken it out, no problem so far!
@@malikbezhanakbari935 so this desk is pretty good if you have also removed that metal part and it is still steady.
@@vasileiospgr that’s correct ✅
@@malikbezhanakbari935 ok i'll buy it too tomorrow 😂
You left out several
Important steps regarding alignment and properly screwing in the top of the desk
If anyone is reading this pls find another guide this one is awful

Don’t buy this pos table

so when you are giving a step by step review, you have to cover every step. you leave out many vital steps that if you only watched your video, you would NOT be able to put this together correctly. If you are going to make a youtube channel around assembly videos. they have to be perfect and this is just not. sorry, but awful video.
Thanks
