All the projects! So beautiful. I really want to do Land that I Love, but it is so big. I want to try stitching on linen. When I started stitching there was Aida. There was no Flosstube then. When I started quilting I did not cross stitch much. I really found out about flosstube while watching a quilting video. I might be a wee bit obsessed. Happy Stitching.

Go to the old tattered flag website. Not only do they have great punch tutorials and products but they have a stretcher bar contraption that is on a swivel. So when you are punching and need to turn your project it just swivels. I have one of those morgan lap hoop things which is fine for now since I'm fairly new. But if I really get into it, I'm definately buying that thing. So much easier to just stretch your project onto it and it swivels. thanks!

I received the Kooler Stitcher’s Studio Heirloom Stocking. Wasn’t prepped for the amount of pages!!!! I do have a book of Kooler Stocking designs, however that one wasn’t in it. I hope to start Shepherd’s Bush stockings as well. Love your stitches. I don’t have a sewing machine so stitch all together by hand. Keep stitching w/enthusiasm!!!!

Have you ever thought of framing your large project with fabric and finish into a quilt wall hanging? I’m planning to do that with some of my holiday projects. Just to hang over or on doors. I’ve enjoyed your videos ❣️keep stitching those beautiful projects 😉
If I'm trying to over dye an already dyed linen just a shade or two darker or to add some mottling, I leave it in for probably 5 minutes. If I'm starting from white or cream and trying to get a bright or dark color I'll leave it in the hot water up to like 30 minutes. Kind of depends on the project! All of your finishes are adorable! I also love your huge finish on Think Happy Thoughts. And you know you truly love a pattern if you are still drawn to it after 10 years. lol! Are you familiar with Charley Harper? I first discovered him thru his quilting cotton line. Then I discovered he had needlepoint kits but I have never done needlepoint. Well, recently I came across some of his needlepoint that has been converted to cross stitch! And I love to do crewelwork, so I have lots and lots of Appleton wool! So, my question is can I just get some needlepoint canvas and use the cross stitch charts and my wool to stitch them? That would be great as one is a rather small design and I would love for it to be bigger! Blackberry House is looking so beautiful. Your stitching is lovely! I have Consider the Lilies but haven't kitted it yet as it is a little advanced for me. I wonder if I tried it on evenweave how it would look? Your trim haul was really pretty too. Yeah my kit for Think Happy Thoughts was just 2 strands of wool on 10 hpi canvas and I did a full cross. I think you could easily convert a needle point design to full cross! I definitely think you could do Consider the Lilies on an evenweave! I think fabric plays such a role in enjoyment of stitching so definitely use your favorite for such a big project!

Start with a 28 count linen or evenweave to get a feel for it!
If you stuff them with balsa pine needles, the pillow smells amazing.

I hand dyed my own fabric for Land That I Love because I couldn't find Tin Roof with the Zweigart base!

All of your finishes are adorable! I also love your huge finish on Think Happy Thoughts. And you know you truly love a pattern if you are still drawn to it after 10 years. lol! Are you familiar with Charley Harper? I first discovered him thru his quilting cotton line. Then I discovered he had needlepoint kits but I have never done needlepoint. Well, recently I came across some of his needlepoint that has been converted to cross stitch! And I love to do crewelwork, so I have lots and lots of Appleton wool! So, my question is can I just get some needlepoint canvas and use the cross stitch charts and my wool to stitch them? That would be great as one is a rather small design and I would love for it to be bigger! Blackberry House is looking so beautiful. Your stitching is lovely! I have Consider the Lilies but haven't kitted it yet as it is a little advanced for me. I wonder if I tried it on evenweave how it would look? Your trim haul was really pretty too. Yeah my kit for Think Happy Thoughts was just 2 strands of wool on 10 hpi canvas and I did a full cross. I think you could easily convert a needle point design to full cross!
I definitely think you could do Consider the Lilies on an evenweave! I think fabric plays such a role in enjoyment of stitching so definitely use your favorite for such a big project!
