Respect for your perseverance and positive attitude. Your words on repairs made me think how simple old cars actually are. My friend's modern Audi was just bumped by a truck while parked. £8k to repair with all its fancy sensors and ECUs. Long live the mighty Mini. And I'm glad you are unscathed.
@@roddymac1370 Thanks Roddy. All though i have jusy put it through an MOT amd that posotive outlook is definitley being put to the test 🤣 More to come on the Mini (major) journey.
First car was a mini and will one day find another one. Love the channel and look forward to seeing the mini build version 2.0 and your great workshop space come together. Very nice. New sub from Australia
You aren't having a fun time with owning your classic Mini. Turning the car so you went over the bank forward is a classic rally trick so you don't roll the car, so well done.
Very, Very lucky, glad you and the doggos are ok, those tie bars that are on the car already are the HD adjustable ones, they control the caster BTW which is the fore and aft position of the wheel in the arch. Greetings from cold damp Paisley.
just sucks. but honestly imo the car from the outside looks like you really escaped tremendous damage. underside we haven't seen yet. love the garage. i don't know if you're married or have kids... but like my last comment.... i'd live in it.
@@Toby_the_Glen I dont think so. He did actually come back and check i was ok and the giy with the boat also stopped a couple of hours later. You local to the area Toby?

Thanks buddy. Yeah they're actually the new ones! The originals got bent in the crash 🥴
This is why I dont do double overtakes, its just too risky. Good luck fixing the car
