Learning to Kiteboard First 2 Days - The Regular Guy

Having been in action sports and surfing for over 20 years, it was rather surprising that I had never had a go at kiteboarding. New sponsor of #theregularguy Ion Wetsuits, decided it was time and sent me off with a friend, Charles, to Windtown in Langebaan, Western Cape, to do my first 2 days of lessons on Duotone Kite Gear.
Our coach, Caroline, was amazing and she put in the hours (She reckons we were super dedicated doing 7 hours a day I the hot west coast sun.) By the end of it we were met with some success and both Charles and I are excited to continue the journey.

Fantastic vid mate and well done on your accomplishments, Im learning to kiteboard also i already had my first lesson here in qld Australia done all the safty stuff and a few extra tips thrown in i already knew about the power window as i i used to fly stunt kites growing up also did abit of body dragging with a 6m kite idk what to expect for mext lesson but im super pumped for next lesson but not so stoked with the $300au dollar price tag for a 2 hours 1on1 lesson was told by instructor that i did very well better than most for a first timer he reckons so next lesson will be probs abit more body dragging on a bigger kite or getting up on the board maybe or something cant wait to feel that feeling of achievement wish me luck i may need it.
