Sometimes the best thing to do is too just stay quiet. Abby was venting and, especially regarding their history, once Abby made the comment about OP being spoiled, OP should have just stayed quiet because what is already a somewhat tense situation got made worse. I don’t blame OP for speaking her honest opinion but sometimes not saying anything is the best thing.
