World Heroes 2 is a 1993 fighting arcade game developed and published by ADK with the assistance of SNK. It was originally released for the Neo Geo MVS arcade cabinet on April 26, 1993. It is the sequel to the 1992 fighting arcade game World Heroes, as well as the second title of the World Heroes series. It was even the first game with the "ADK" logo labeled within the game after the developer changed from its previous name "Alpha Denshi"; however, the "Alpha" logo was last used on one of the arcade flyers of World Heroes 2.
It was followed by a sequel released just a year later titled World Heroes 2 Jet.

Nothing like watching your teen years before your eyes and remembering the battles with your best friends.
I remember playing this game when arcades where everywhere. It was in your local laundry mat, pizza shop, and bodega. In New York there was an arcade everywhere. There was some awesome times. I miss those. It had brought me my best of friends I still hang out now.

Clearly a Street Fighter knockoff. Looks like just yet another bootleg made on the original. Japanese were indeed the Chinese of the 90's. They didn't forgive even other Japanese companies.

First, alot of the creators involved in making street fighter 2 left capcom to make other fighting games because capcom wouldnt allow the production of street fighter 3. Two, capcom doesnt hold rights over the worlds legendary fighters, that these characters are based off of. Variety is a good thing, & this game is far from "bootleg". You cant shame other companies for taking advances that another one wont.
30 years ago, I came across the arcade game at a restaurant called Papa Gino's in Connecticut. And I enjoyed playing this game with a passion, even though I got my ass kicked by the AI. I did eventually beat this game. But that wasn't until five years after the game was released. But beating this game gave me so much satisfaction. Still, this is a game that holds a special place in my heart to this day.
Use to play this at a bowling alley. Loved this game

Mom sent me to the store for milk. I legit beat this game with Kim Dragon. 1st time in history. I was out for about 1 and a half. Needless to say, I was in big trouble but I brought home the dub💯🤌. Did my lil bro proud...................ahhh, sweet memories👏👏

Most of you are waaay off the mark arguing whether the character is that of Korean, Japanese or Chinese when in fact all of these characters like Law from TEKKEN, Liu Khang from MK, FeiLong from SF --- they're all based off of the legendary BRUCE LEE and it's Juke-Kune-Do martial art techniques.

I remember playing this as a child, but for some reason, I don´t recall if the graphics were actually like this... it looks airbrushed or passed through a photoshop filter... was it like this? Also, Kim Dragon looks a LOT like Fei Long... was this released before Super Street Fighter 2?
Yes. Kim Dragon appeared first before Fei Long appeared.

@@shoppingrb9544 I know I know BUT Bruce Lee´s family doesn´t let capcom use Fei Long on Street Fighter anymore because they claim that it was inspired by Bruce Lee... we all know it´s true, BUT legally, what if they were like "Oh no, we are copying another fighter from another game that came before Fei Long" I feel like Elle Woods hahaha

The best fact is that kim dragon us the first ever character to be inspired by brucelee,liukang is the second and fei long is the third one

Me parece que el peleador de Muay thai de éste juego es idéntico a Joe Higashi de Fatal Fury, hasta su Técnica de ataque lanzando el grito "Tiger pa"
All muay thai characters have a flying knee attack... Shura has no projectiles either. Muay thai involves alot of praise of the tiger, the snake, & dragon.

Its not his graphics settings, its his recording software that does this. Some reason mame devs refuse to add any upscaling to their platform and its a damn shame.
