Thank you Pea for presenting such a thorough and eyes opening interview. Those three young and handsome chaps are very refreshing and really inspiring. They all display a genuine, considerate and very respectful attitude toward women and their Country traditions. They manage to be obviously cool, but also reveal so much maturity and common sense. They demonstrate that the Philippines is actually a very modern, proud and relevant great Country to come from and to live in. Of course, nothing is ever perfect. But their proud and honest approach does put to shame many “foreign” nations. And, consequently, may I say to beautiful Filipinas accross the land: “ When you have such meaty prime steak at home, why would you go for foreign hamburgers 🍔? On another subject, dear Pea, I don’t believe for one second that all three left the way they did! 😂 I could see the twinkle in their eyes, “discreetly sizing you up and down” while even more discreetly trying to cover their obvious instinctive “interest” with their hands … and who can blame them? You do raise attention across the globe gorgeous Pea! Don’t be so modest : Walk proud! 😘 and be happy! Viva Philippinas 🇵🇭 and our Pea! Mabuhay ang pilipinas! 🎈 🎉 Mabuhi ang Filipina Pea! 🎈 🎊 🥂
All FOUR of you are quick to only blame the guys. 50% of the responsiblity for children is the gals who spread their legs for chad or tyrone. Remember girls if you display the menu to a hungry guy, he will partake.
How about just don’t have sex and use your hand. I don’t like how they are responding to inform and inform discreetly. It’s not lack of education more than it is lack of morality. Morality and tradition aren’t the same I’m afraid of those twerk shorts. They have too much focus on sexualization. If the Philippine people are too down and out there’s nothing to offer anyone. They are the educated and authoritative ones of the country, and that’s how they are. It is sad. Men that’s only strong in their own gun shop. You can flip this in all nations where the men are conquer minded and not cooperative minded. It’s an ultimate failure.
Poverty in the Philippines is heart wrenching, but the people are friendly and find a bright spot to everything. A hurricane hits, they clean up and say we will build better for next time. They are welcoming, good food, and the Philippines is one of the friendliest countries I have visited.
I learned that the Philippines Government doesn't tax poverty areas, That helps the people be ok being poor. They have survival needs and no stress from government. In the USA most of poverty & Homelessness & Joblessness are caused by our government.
@@adamcrealestate if we imagine the people living like rats and still gets taxes, that would be too much of a burden and the poor and rich are linked to each other in every country.
Contraception is still a soar spot! I may have mentioned this before. One day I asked a 16 year old pregnant girl why she didn't use birth control. She replied: "The church doesn't allow that, kuya!" I said: "Well, the church doesn't allow pre-marital sex either, but that doesn't seem to bother you!" I mean ... honestly ... if you are going to sin anyway, you may just as well do it safely! :-)
These three gentlemen seem to represent the best of the best in Filipino me. A hearty "Thank You" to your and your guests. This information is priceless
That conversation about contraception was had here in Canada about 50 years ago - the same exact things: education, shaming, gossip, product availability in stores, “corruption of our young people”, the whole thing. It has changed. Without casting too many stones, my bet is that the corresponding decline in the social and political power of churches, particularly the RC church, accounts for the changed conversation about contraception. It’s going rapidly backwards in the US, in some locations, unfortunately. Great episode and hats off to you and your guests, particularly their Academy-level acting at the end! (Like any of them wouldn’t date you in a heartbeat!)
On the good points about the Phillipines I understand, that one argument cannot come from Filipinos/Filipinas. Happy to help out: Filipino people are one of the kindest persons on earth, generally speaking and of course there are always other examples. I personally can say that I have never experienced this level of kindness somewhere else in the world - Greetings from Germany.
Pea I just stumbled on to your channel . Wow you keep it so real! I have been traveling to the Philippine's since 1989. Back in 2012 I meet and got married to my Filipina 9 years now. she was a lawyer in Manila when I meet her a real Benabena Filipina 5.8 inch tall and from a wonderful family in Bulacan Back in 2005 my God son J D Dillanger who still plays in the PBA was drafted out of collage at the University of Hawaii and my work for the airlines took me to Manila 3 to 4 times a month needless to say I was there a lot and traveled all over the Philippines. So with that said I can bear witness to your observation your spot on! Salamat Po.
A great two-parter. The only answer that surprised me is that there is no disdain for foreigners, at least publicly. I would assume that the natural reaction for male Filipinos is to have a negative reaction to someone coming into the country for fun and "entertainment." Of course, these guys were on camera and could be seen by the rest of the world....
I've been needing a Filipina Pea fix, so going back through ones I hadn't seen yet. These interviews are great, them young men made great points and are objective on their opinions. Another great video! If Pol is not a comedian, he should be!
Nice to hear the male perspective on the Philippines. They had a great perspective on matters and situations regarding serious issues. I look forward to your next video as always.
This is a great example of the consideration, thoughtfulness, and kindness of the Philippines. These guys showed us that they too have many of the qualities we seek from the Filipinas, and show that the cultural foundations presents a country that is truly unbelievable!! If I had the money, I’d return in a heartbeat 💓 Now Americans are seeing this old guy carrying a empty coffee can, tapping on it with a spatula, singing about beautiful people, lechon, lumpia, adobo, lovely people, amazing sites, jeepney and trike rides, and if they keep helping me fill my can -> I’ll stop bothering them and go away to the Philippines!! Some say my singing is good, others say that I sound like I’m in pain, but they all know that it is all from my heart ❤️
I wish for your cup to be filled everyday. If only you can save ten percent (and man, I really know how hard that is) it will over time buy a standby ticket to your home.
Nice vlog again Pea. The guys were funny, I liked it. One point though, about birth control they talked a lot about education but I think religion is the main problem.
They are so wise and fair. Education about relationships is really lacking all over the world and the ones who fall into the traps are the least able to deal with it. It must be hard when religion is such a big part of the social world too though. Really thoughtful stuff. Thank you lovely Pea! 🥰❤
@@TheFilipinaPea My thinking We need no cult religions, We need morals, lessons of life and wealth passed along generation after generation. The number one selling book worldwide is the bible and seems always will be. Read, understand and let no man take the Power of Religion over you...
I thought the same. I'm not catholic but rather Episcopalian which has similar rituals like mass but not confession (at least for most) . I do believe many catholics are against any form of birth control at least here in the United States.
so refreshing to hear local Filipino guys opinions for once! all we hear on most vlogs is about the girls or foreigners opinions so this was great. Good smart average locals, not deadbeat absent dads as the impression often is from blogs that point out the single mom epidemic over there. They recognize the causes and solutions to the issues there so their generation are a good influence on the country. 👍
Well done Fella's! you were honest, factual and at times funny. as a foreigner with a Pinay wife and children, you have pretty much described to a Tee what I have experienced in the Philippines. Great Video Pea!
Thoroughly enjoyed this two-parter, would love to see more from the guy's perspective, maybe add a foreigner and an older Filipino, suspect that the conversation would be very interesting. If these young men are representative of Dumaguete then you are very lucky indeed.
I know so many great Filipino guys like this. They really are a bunch of winners. You marry a Filipino and you are a Filipino to them and connected like a family member. Truly, that attitude makes me love them.
Been there 5 times, been waiting for almost 2 years to get back, hopefully soon, beautiful and friendly country. Great interview and it shows that the younger generation are fully aware of the problems that are in the Philippines ❤️
Very interesting narration of the Philippines 🇵🇭 life dynamics. Filipinos are open, friendly and a welcoming people. I personally would like to stay among Filipinos. I honestly think I love them.
Great interview and so enlightening! This one post of Pea's answered so many lingering questions I had about the Philippines, I was literally hanging on every word! Thank you Miss Pea for your endearing commitment to uncovering the real Philippines for the rest of us...
That's really some nice guys. My filipina wife and I are living in Norway, and we love being "home" in Illocos Norte. So much nice people, beautiful nature and so many interesting things to see and do
Very nice, thoughtful video. I found the part where they were discussing contraceptives to be especially interesting. These young men, including Pea, came of age during the Internet age. You can find similar young people all around the world, including Africa. They tend to be generally liberal, and sophisticated in their outlook to things. The trick, I suppose, is how to be like that while maintaining the unique charm of being a Filipino. It's not always easy to navigate the two, especially after you leave your native country. The second to last skit was intriguing to me because I've often wondered how Filipino men consider Pea who for all practical purposes is a Filipino-American. I know that a lot of Kenyans consider me too Americanized. This is a blessing and a curse. 😀
You just keep putting out great videos Pea. I know you put a lot of work into them but it's painful to have to wait in between. Definitely my favorite source for the Philippines and the people.
Love to see / hear these three give their side of the culture / Philippines. They must be giving hope to the future there. Sorry again about the comment re. your dress. Also loved the "last" question.
Nice interview Pea with three intelligent Filipino students. These are the future Philippine movers and shakers, very Interesting to hear their opinions.
Hello again, you would make a great dating for marriage buisness, you ask all the right questions and you're so relatable and could match people perfectly. Thanks again for another informative , enjoyable vlog . It truly helps me to understand that Filipino men are cool and friendly . ( Pea, you are certainly a attention getter with all that stands out elegantly about you . What a gift and inspiration you are . )
Haha love that ending, the guys all played their part well, and you would make a good actress Pea. Interesting questions and answers as always, the guys are sensible and mature for their ages. Great vid, enjoy your weekend.
Regarding her ending script. The guys already know who the Pea is with, so even if it weren't a script they'd be smart to not intrude on taken territory.
I'm glad you can poke fun at yourself. Expats should make friends with the local guys when they visit, I'm sure they would be a big help navigating the culture.
Hey guys. Thanks for sharing your viewpoints. Appreciate your Filipina women. If you were to visit the USA and asked a western woman out, you would be shocked (most likely unpleasantly)!
Great video dear Pea, been there 3 times so far and for 4th time ( if covid let me ) I'll try to stay. And my number one reason is; people of your country. :)
Bravo, another well-produced and enlightening video! Love the “little black dress” you’re wearing, too. Oh, and I wouldn’t mind getting arrested … 😉. Thanks for brightening our day!
Great segment. I appreciate the perspective and advice. It would be great to see the guys on again but i am certain the challenge would come in having the insightful and good questions for them. Thanks for sharing, Pea.
Really glad that I can hear from these guys. All seem likecreally good solid dudes. I'd buy them all a beercand hang out any time. I look forward to meeting many people when I move there. Great job to all of you and thank you for the time
Hello Pea, very interesting video. I did not expect this ending, it was a good idea, very funy. For the content, I think it's very interesting to get the opinion of these men. I think these kinds of thoughts are encouraging for the country. Thank you for this video, it was entertaining and informative
The guys all seem like good, decent people. Thanks for letting them share their perspective. Always nice to see you on Friday mornings, I look forward to it each week.... 🙂
Pea, first of all, thank you for your videos! I really enjoy them! Also, thank you to the 3 gentlemen for adding their bits of wisdom and jokes to this interview. Second of all, can i make a suggestion? Have an interview with some of the expats who are making the Philippines their new home. Ask them why they retired there. Also ask them the good and the bad from a retired persons point of view. I think that could be very interesting. God Bless.
Regarding the question why there are so many Single Filipina Mums??: Another major problem is how boys are raised and over protected from their mother?? Why aren't the mothers insisting that their sons take responsibility of their actions, instead of making excuses for them and why they choose not to support their abandoned children? One set of enforceable government rules would be welcomed but the social pressure from the family would be as powerful!
I have gathered some answers. 1. The man will say he us not yet ready to marry 2. The man is not capable of supporting(no job or not enough income) 3. If he is capable of supporting, if with a new GF or a wife already, he will be controlled 4. The mother of the boy will not decide about marriage but only the boy will 5. The mother will decide if he is a mama's boy 6. Plain irresponsible
@@veritasforever9527 Yes indeed it takes two to Tango BUT it also takes TWO to raise the child whether physically or financially....so why is it that the mother is the only person responsible for the child whilst the father moves on and starts a new family, whilst forgetting the last family...come on and stay on topic
5:16. Even if they were on a shelf, you'd still have to check out with them. What you need is a vending machine, where you can make an anonymous purchase.
Pea, I would rank this among your best episodes. I think you should these funny guys on a regular basis. Once a month or better yet every couple of weeks. Once again, Great episode!
@@TheFilipinaPea No problem. Of course it doesn't hurt that the hostess is knowledgeable, witty, welcoming, and beautiful as well. Credit where credit is due, O X O.
Most of baranggays nowadays have free contraceptive given. But sad to say people never used it either they scared of it or lack of a education about contraceptives. Hope people also well follow about the used of it.
The guys are well educated, intelligent and highly articulate. These guys know their people and country very well. They talk openly and honestly and are excellent citizens. Beaches are fantastic and tropical and usually everyone is friendly and speaks excellent english. Poverty is highly confronting and desperate poverty is almost everywhere and impossible to seriously reduce. Nothing is going to change there is no likely hood of radical reform or giant steps forward. 25 million live on $2 a day. Filipinos are typically laid back and usually have a relaxed nature in many ways. Yes it’s true. For the guys who have not been to the country the girls are typically beautiful if a little shy . The Philippines is hot and tropical and has a lot to offer western tourists.
I’ve always found it interesting that you see that in the Philippines and a lot of Latin American cultures how people are so conservative that birth control is either not used or in some places not even available, usually due to religious beliefs. These places are all predominantly Catholic, but they all have huge problems with single mothers, which shows that there is a lot of premarital sex going on despite their religious beliefs.
Hi Pea I’m from 🇨🇦 Canada I have got to work with a lot of Filipino’s and your right they’re very happy people and have a smile on their faces and easy to communicate with I would like to see your country and see the Beautiful Pea as well have a great day and weekend 🌹❤️🥰🤗🇨🇦
I’ve been going there almost every year for last 16 years. It’s a great place to start a business. It’s an even better place to date if you are from any of the western countries where feminism is basically the new norm. Thanks for the insightful vids.
When I left the Philippines, it broke my heart. Not only was I leaving my fiance, but I was leaving some very special people that made a huge impact on my life during my short time in Cebu. The Philippines is one of those places that just settles in someone's heart, not just a thought in their mind. Not to mention the sinigang (pork for me), bibingka (Cebu), adobo and coconut empanadas will become a mandatory staple during a person's stay. The festivals are truly a very fun atmosphere, even for a very religious festival, there will always be fun there.
I did press like on the video as I appreciate your willingness to interview men there. I expect you to try again. I thought that your videos with women flowed better overall.
At the moment it would be very hard to move to Duma or any other Town or provinces as whilst all areas have systems set up for Tourists visit but they have no mechanism for anyone to go and live there unless of course you are married to a Filipino who was born in that area I raised this recently at the Philippines Residential Association pointing out that any single guys that they are presently processing for an SRRV will only be allowed to live in Manila They know this but there is nothing they can do because it’s down to each provincial government
I enjoy your channel, as it helps me understand my wife and her attitudes/behaviour. However, I was never looking for a Filipina - we simply met by chance, dated in a very traditional way and decided to create a life for ourselves. We now have a good life together with our family in Antipolo, financially secure and happy. I say this having spent 2 hours in the local S&M mall getting our week's groceries.
I enjoyed my visits to the PI, but they really need to figure out what they are going to do now. I think they have done a good job dealing with the pandemic, but it is time to open back up both internally and externally. It really appears that the economic damage being done will be much more severe than the virus. Plus tourism is such a big part of the economy (such a beautiful place) they need to have a reasonable nationwide standard (e.g. a negative test before leaving and a negative test upon arrival -- only quarantine people who test positive). A number of countries have already settled on the fact that the world is going to need to learn to live with the virus and its variants. Take reasonable precautions, but overall get back to normal. Hope to be able to go back soon.

You seem to have a natural talent when it comes to finding out a personality and able to match 2 of the same. Thank you for great videos Princess Pea. 😁
These guys are very open minded, mature and probably responsible people.
That’s what I thought too 👍😊
@@TheFilipinaPea pea asa mni sila😂 katong teenager pko😅. Hopefully all guys in the philippines like this. We don't need to tip our toes and find to thousands miles away. 😁 Thanks pea for the reply. Happy you reach 100k plus. Before you only had 1k plus now silver botton is waving na. ❤️
Great to hear these guys views
Wise words
Thanks for this interview Pea.
This channel just keeps getting better.
I'm glad you can poke fun at yourself. Expats should make friends with the local guys when they visit, I'm sure they would be a big help navigating the culture.
Hey guys. Thanks for sharing your viewpoints. Appreciate your Filipina women. If you were to visit the USA and asked a western woman out, you would be shocked (most likely unpleasantly)!
great video Pea, maybe one day I will be able to come visit your country if the whole world ever gets back to normal! keep up the great work!
Really nice guys - good to hear from the locals
Great video dear Pea, been there 3 times so far and for 4th time ( if covid let me ) I'll try to stay. And my number one reason is; people of your country. :)
A whole different prospective that only you can bring. Great job Pea
Great job to all of you and thank you for the time
I like that you have interviewed three intelligent men I wish all three of them the best
BTW these 3 dudes should work for the bureau of tourism as well.. They nailed it!
Thank you Pea!
I like the guy personality in the middle. He seems really cool down to earth.
Me too. Now he is one doctor I will be seeing when I get to Dumaguete.
Delightful interview. I really like their candor and welcoming spirit. thanks!
These guys seem cool and super chill! Another great video Pea!
Great video as always, and the pill needs to be available and not frowned on. Impressive panel Pea..
God Bless.
Would be a good video
Thank You P, I'm pondering retirement there, ive learned so much from your channel, and you always make me smile, peace be the Journey
That’s for considering us, Bud 👍😊❤️
Great video. Thanks guys for the insight on life in the Philippines. Godbless
Regarding the question why there are so many Single Filipina Mums??:
Another major problem is how boys are raised and over protected from their mother?? Why aren't the mothers insisting that their sons take responsibility of their actions, instead of making excuses for them and why they choose not to support their abandoned children?
One set of enforceable government rules would be welcomed but the social pressure from the family would be as powerful!
Exactly...
I have gathered some answers.
1. The man will say he us not yet ready to marry
2. The man is not capable of supporting(no job or not enough income)
3. If he is capable of supporting, if with a new GF or a wife already, he will be controlled
4. The mother of the boy will not decide about marriage but only the boy will
5. The mother will decide if he is a mama's boy
6. Plain irresponsible
Why are you folks blaming the guys? It takes two to, um, tango.
@@veritasforever9527 yes it takes 2 to make babies.. however, these daddies continue to make babies. And doesn't want to settle yet
@@veritasforever9527 Yes indeed it takes two to Tango BUT it also takes TWO to raise the child whether physically or financially....so why is it that the mother is the only person responsible for the child whilst the father moves on and starts a new family, whilst forgetting the last family...come on and stay on topic
Great interview! They had some great informative answers. They really got it right on that last question!
Very informative topic that so many avoid but it is necessary to give more people information. Thank you.
Great video, good to hear from the guys.
Wow! Glad I watched. Especially the end 😀
What cool bunch of guys. I'm sure it will be fun to hang out with them!
5:16. Even if they were on a shelf, you'd still have to check out with them. What you need is a vending machine, where you can make an anonymous purchase.
Another great video with the fun and smart Trio. Thx guys.
Interesting to hear from the brothers and get there point of view.
Pea, I would rank this among your best episodes. I think you should these funny guys on a regular basis. Once a month or better yet every couple of weeks. Once again, Great episode!
Thanks William 👍😊

No problem. Of course it doesn't hurt that the hostess is knowledgeable, witty,
welcoming, and beautiful as well. Credit where credit is due, O X O.
I cosign this Comment.
Most of baranggays nowadays have free contraceptive given. But sad to say people never used it either they scared of it or lack of a education about contraceptives. Hope people also well follow about the used of it.
Really interesting conversation! Thank you for bringing it to us!
Take good care!
Those are the guys I like to hang out with, have a good conversation, learn about the people and culture.
Beer 🍺 on me guys!
And for you Pea 👍
Enjoyed watching this two part series.
Great group of guys with very good attitudes. Fantastic job again, sweet pea.
Best part of Friday is watching Pea..great part two interview questions 🤗
The best part? Well thanks, Lajuan!! 👍❤️😊
I enjoyed your ending, Pea. It's good to be able to laugh at yourself.
I did press like on the video as I appreciate your willingness to interview men there. I expect you to try again. I thought that your videos with women flowed better overall.
At the moment it would be very hard to move to Duma or any other Town or provinces as whilst all areas have systems set up for Tourists visit but they have no mechanism for anyone to go and live there unless of course you are married to a Filipino who was born in that area
I raised this recently at the Philippines Residential Association pointing out that any single guys that they are presently processing for an SRRV will only be allowed to live in Manila
They know this but there is nothing they can do because it’s down to each provincial government
Hello Pea. Please consider also posting on rumble. Love your video content.
God blessed my beautiful filipina sister Hermana,my ex is from Baguio, have a great n safe weekend sis.
Another great video sweet Pea, thank you x
Interesting.
Is Paul related to Mika?
He has the same accent as Mika and is very talkative as Mika.
Good Panel, nice to get a Filipino perspective.
Excellent content as usual Pea! Keep up the great work looking forward to the next video
