I fell in love with AE 13 years ago because of their melodic heavies, and guitar riffs. I love everything Alissa has done with this band, but I've got to say this song takes the band back to a very nostalgic, chonky place, but with a revitalized energy like we've never seen. I'm thoroughly enjoying this moment, and excited to see what else they've got cooking.
Inbetween the drums and guitar you can hear that bass rumbling like those creatures in Tremors plowing through the earth and getting ready to snag ya up!
Great reaction, Tauri! Yes, Arch Enemy continues to amaze us with top songs. Extraordinary guitar riffs, a change of rhythm that drives us from melodic death metal to power metal and back, through excellent solo parts on the guitar. Awesome bass and amazing rhythm on the drums, Daniel is really amazing. A fantastic gesture to promote the song just for Alissa's birthday. A nice sign of attention and in that beautiful gesture you can see that they are one compact band. Alissa with her superb vocals raises the growling singing style to a higher level. I can't wait for them to release a new album. I hope that the new album will have at least 2 songs with clean vocals from Alisa, because we should not forget that beautiful voice of his. Great song, top production and direction of the video - simply doomed to great success because the talent and energy are at the top level!
Peronally I feel like parts of the song, especially the first riffs after the intro and some of the initial vocals are much harsher, more dissonant and much more "black metal"-soundish thanArch Enemy has gone before, and I am all here for it! Great reaction!

Thats cheating in my oppinion, i started to play drums at age 15 at 1979 after listening to Sweet "the mand with the golden arm" First listening to old rock from the 50´s and Beatles and also some disco and Abba. After like half a year i got bored so i tried Jazz, Blues and classical music. None of these music had the energy i was looking for.
