Dear Pastor John, You have blessed my life SO MUCH ever since the first time I watched you on TH-cam (The Ultimate Meaning Of True Womanhood sermon was the first video I watched of yours) and after watching your sermon called Don’t Waste Your Life I was HOOKED! Your LOVE and PASSION for GOD has drawn me closer to Him. Your teachings have given me deeper insight of Gods Word, thus allowing me to have a stronger relationship with GOD, I can definitely see the changes in my life. You’ve also inspired me to study Gods word more deeply and read it until it glows and becomes alive in me, just like you said! This video was empowering and helped me understand GODS grace on a deeper level. When you said, “the effect of this Grace moving towards Paul in power was that he worked harder than any of them” helped me realize that GODS Grace is more than pardon, just like the title of your video! His GRACE is a tool that empowers us and helps us to work hard to ABOUND in EVERY GOOD WORK!! WOW, this is so amazing, yesterday on 12/26/2022 the verse of the day on the Bible app was 2 Corinthians 9:8, which was also the last verse you mentioned. God is so amazing, I randomly clicked on this video while scrolling through DesiringGod.org and was so amazed by the verse of the day yesterday (theres a whole story behind that) and now HE used you to help ME get even more excited/inspired by that verse of the day!! And Its even more amazing how in Ephesians 1:6-9 Paul says that GOD purposed in Himself to show us this grace, in all wisdom and prudence, so that we may praise His GLORY!! So GOD really planned all this with wisdom and prudence to show us His GRACE… 🥲Woohoooo GOD IS GOOOD! Thank you JESUS!! I love HIM so much. Again thank you Pastor John for passionately seeking the TRUTH and doing GODS WORK! I can’t wait to meet you in heaven!! 🎉
What a wonderful truth, thank you Pastor John! I personally want to learn to be someone who is not legalistic about working hard, or ashamed to reflect the world's hustle culture. But I want to have that peace and confidence in my heart, knowing that any hard work that may come from me is not one coming from my own strength, but something that is given to me by the mighty power of God's grace in and with me. Definitely will carry this truth with me in the next year. God bless you!
