Thanks DoBo for this video. It looks like an awesome frame for a cruser! I am loving my Mamba stack that I used on my Quadmula frame O3 build. I had watched one of your other videos where you used that stack and that's why I got it, plus I got in on that $79 price lol. Thanks again for the video, loved it!
I use Tracer on some of my quads too...never had an issue and get pretty good range too -the only time i had a failsafe was when one of the antennas popped off the ufl once mid test flight by fault of my own - and still after the quad was on the ground, connection was back up and i decided to complete the flight to see what w as going to happen (this was in a field i always test new builds in). I fixed that up and never had an issue on that quad since - I've taken tracer equipped quads behind buildings, around metal structures, flew into an empty swimming pool one winter (below ground, far from me, while i was in the parking lot ) and never gave a blip of an issue... good stuff seeing you fly tracer as well. Considering retiring my xl5 and sourceone v3 and grabbing this frame or a Quadmula Siren F5...
The answer is no it is not the best for O3 air. Speedybee Master 5 HD is in my opinion. Heat sink, longer correct screws for mounting O3 air and a bottom transfer plate so you can mount it upright. The instructions and screw bag organization is amazing.
I got a Volador 3.5 from amazon to review at the end of July, and mine came with the four 03 screws + aluminum stand offs. I didn't end up using any of the TPU parts because it's a lot heavier then my Crux35 airframe, I believe it was almost 3x the weight when the TPU was included. I would love to see a 3 & 3.5" Tony 5 that fits an DJI 03 air unit or 19mm Walksnail HD Pro/Moonlight weighing around 25 - 40 grams. This would help offset the extra weight of the 03 while maintaining the lightweight feel and flight time. With a 850 4s pack my Crux35 with naked DJI Vista/Nebula Pro Nano gets 15 minutes of freestyle.
old video i know but got a question . i see you were running 6s . do the props run pretty close to the lipo ? i have some regular 1300 mah 6s and some that are kinda fat for 1300 mah ,if i would lay it on its side (the lipo) i fear the props may hit it
Yeh, I have the VX5 and it has the same issues. Otherwise a brilliant frame. Like you say, different screws is annoying. The m2.5s are made of cheese, too. I drilled out the rear holds to 3mm and replaced the m2.5 20mm standoffs with m3 20mm standoffs. Also drilled through the XT60 plug and boom...solved. I use those XT60 plugs on loads of stuff and always make them m3. I wish that guy would also sell an stl file for me to print over in the UK. But completely understand why he doesn't, of course.
Nice one man ! You nailed it ! 👏 I’m enjoying this frame as I’m currently testing its performance in cinematic scenario as well freestyle. What length 1.6 screws did you use for mounting the o3 in this frame ? Thanks 🙌
DJI has a canvas mode document to get osd working on betaflight. In the cli type - set osd_displayport = MSP. You have to also set the msp serial to 1 lower than the msp uart set on your ports tab. So if MSP is set to uart 4 on the ports tab then type in the cli set displayport_msp_serial =3. type save and your good
@@OriginaldoBo Yes, while 48khz can be reduced, there is no real solution to the slight vibration, you need to do shock absorption for the lens to better solve.
Hey Ken, ethix makes a little prop tool 🔧 on the field that has the 2.0 and either 2.5 or 3.0 may help in the field for flyfish dm the link to ya duces
Great review, Thank you Ken.👍
Now the FlyFish Volador Frame comes with 5x M1.6x14mm Screws for installing O3 air unit.
Awesome good stuff!!!
Maybe you could also make a 3d print file for the camera dampeners as well :D

I would like a link too please

Thanks for the Shout-Out Ken! Another great vid as usual.
I built one also. I haven't go to fly it yet because of weather but I can't wait.
Awesome video as always, Ken ! Loving mine you built !!!
First hand user of online store and Ken was awesome at standing behind his products thanks ken👍
Thanks for your support!
Nice video, any chance you could tell me how you have this PID tuned?
Thx for the camera dampening tip - I did order those.

Great overview of the Flyfish frame. 👍🤓
Where did you get the red foam for your goggles?

Awesome review video on the flyfish Ken. Thanks for this cause I was really curious on it and wanted to get it. 👍🏻
That weed at 12:43 was virtually invisible was it easier to see on the o3 fpv feed?

Thank you for your efforts, tell us what is the new gasket on the red glasses? Does she have difficulty breathing? 9:38
You might have me build my first FPV set up. I finally crashed my DJI FPV after 1 year 1/2. I want something stronger for accidents.😅
Another good video Ken

Yeah it’s tough with the STL files, I know most would likely respect not sharing but so many bad apples out there
I didn't invert my camera mounts and my 03 air unit mounted just fine.
what size of lipo I need to buy?? Iam gonna fly with go pro, that's why I need to know size of high part of the drone minus part of go pro
Maybe I missed it but where is the capacitor mounted?
Excellent . Very detailed review. Great.💯

Hi Ken, thank you for this. Do ND filters fit?
Barely fit in there

Looking for the complete printable prop-gard for the DJI Avata
Yeah, I don’t offer the STL files
@@OriginaldoBo ok, then i 3D scan them, and print lighter ones that DJI offers
Do you like the new red foam on your googles 2, can you do a video on the new foam.
It’s not foam
The spec states it weighs 199 grams, thats quite heavy for a 5 inch frame
Thanks man. Is the camera stl files available to download?
You’d have to check their site
where did you install the capacitor im having issues about to scrap this frame
Right behind the camera

I actually thought you may see the humor in that considering the way you talk to people you view as ignorant.
Mine came with the screws for the 03 air unit. It's weird yours didnt.
Mine came with screws that’s not the point the point is that if you’re going to record for the air unit, it will create micro vibrations on the metal

406, are you referring to the 1.6 mm's to mount the air unit to the frame?
So cool 😎🤝
I always run a different remote controller because of that reason.
The frame is heavy as shit. That's why i got the DC version. It's more of a cinematic frame anyways.
12:16 SW syndrome...Brill..
