Thank you for the great guide. I'm still looking for a guide on how connecting the O3 to a TBS Crossfire transmitter. I have the TBS module for the Taranis X9D.
Just want to say thanks! Finally upgraded to digital, which is excellent - that said, I broke off the small (IPEX?) connecter as I was removing a part of the frame… you mentioned it could be replaced with standard antennas - just curious where they could be purchased - or what length and type are considered standard. Thanks again!!
Mr Steele mustache man should watch this. He was complaining of the feed whilst in low power mode. Even in this video you can see it was choppy and then you armed and was buttery smooth.
I saw the same thing. You can clearly see 7mb/s in 1 set of goggles and 50mb/s other. I don’t know how you miss that trying to make a comparison unless you know 0 about how these transmissions systems work. And I don’t know how you get that far without knowing anything about how they work either.
Thanks so much for your work. You made my day. I had partly DJI OSD, permanent low power mode and no recording. Thanks to your simulation I could replace the falty grey wire and will get airborne now. THANKS!
Thank you so much for this video. You’re the only one I could find that explains everything clearly and I appreciate the troubleshoot segment. No one warns us new user about tue possibilities of the wiring being wrong, which was the case for me. DJI harness had tx/rx switched. Explains why I could not get OSD to work.

Hello, and thanks for the great tutorial. Question: I am flying the GEPRC MOZ7 with the DJI 03 Air Unit. On the last flight I had a harder than normal landing and the battery ejected. No damage to the drone. I reinstalled the battery and the Flight Controller powered up, but the DJI 03 Air Unit had no power. I checked the wiring cable between the Flight controller and the Air Unit and cut the black and red wires to check for voltage with a volt meter. It read 0. I then direct wired the black and red wires going to the Air unit to the main power wires coming from the battery connector. Plugged in the battery and both the Flight Controller and Air Unit powered on. The Integra Goggles and RC Controller 2 were still bound. The OSD was working and showing the camera view, but showing the Voltage at 0.0 V along with the RC & HD Signal strength and Goggles Voltage, no other data. I then plugged the Flight Controller into Beta Flight and immediately the Voltage reading went to 22V and the remainder of the OSD screen filled with data. So I’m wondering if anyone knows what is causing the problem. The air unit is fine but the Flight controller is not sending voltage to the Air unit. I can direct wire the Air Unit to power it up but cannot arm it with the lack of data on the OSD screen. Any solutions? I am considering buying a new ESC/Flight Controller stack but I’m not sure that is the issue. Thanks for any tips in advance.
@@teovuksan3469 I'm pretty sure the problem with mine is the BEC may be fried. It is part of the Flight controller so I have ordered a new one but wont know for sure till I install it
Hello Mads, I have started FPV last week-end with Goggles 2/iflight Protek 35 O3. The Dji 03 has recorded automatically my first flights until it stopped. After checking the drone, one of the antenna's two connectors broke. Do you think that the fact that it only has one antenna connector left is the reason of no recording? Thanks for answer
I have double checked everything according to your video. However, I am still missing something. I have managed to display the crosshairs only on the display and they are off centered to the far right. Nothing else that I have selected with OSD is displayed. Any assistance is appreciated.
thank you so much for this information. i have a problem when flying my quad, DJI O3 air unit stop recording while lost signal connection with Goggles 2, but the goggles not stop recording until i disarm/finish flying. why this happen? thank u so much....
Thank you for this video! The flight controller and dji o3 have different connection terminals. In the video, you have a cable that fits perfectly to the flight controller. Where can I get the cable from the flight controller to dji o3?

can I just connect positive and negative from a Bec to run the O3 with my integrate goggles if I'm putting the O3 is an RC plane?
I just bought the o3 air unit in the geprc 35 v2 and I downloaded the DJI assistant consumer series aswell as the fpv series, but it just will not show up. The only thing that does is an internal storage file. I have restarted, un installed and re installed, aswell as tried many chords (with and without a battery.) I just cannot get it to show up.
same thing happend to me yesterday, I plugged it in then the storage option poped up.. Did it again and again and then i left it connected while i was browzing my internet for fix then when i came to check the dji assistant, it was popped up as dji 03 air unit I guess leave it a while when it gets connected automatically
Hi, thanks for your great videos. in Italy I didn't find any results for my problem with the unit03. mounted on a geprc20, during a flight it was disconnected and from that moment when it is powered a green LED remains flashing, and in addition to not seeing anything on the integra it doesn't even connect to the PC. do you know what it could be?
I'm having issues binding my O3 - but it's worked before and I haven't changed anything or crashed. The V2s start beeping (binding mode) and the O3 red LED starts blinking (binding mode) but it never connects. Any tips?
Hi This is a great video, I've learnt a lot from watching this but i do have a question that maybe you or someone else here can answer, I've got the 03 air unit and im using the sparrow2 flight controller, everything works ok and i've flown the plane its all in and flight modes all work fine but i am not getting the on screen display from flight controller to air unit showing on my goggles, I just have the on screen display from goggles only in bottom right corner, Any idea what could be stopping the on screen display from FC not showing on goggles, Also, air unit won't come out of low power mode. I'm in the UK and air unit is new. Thanks.
Quick question. Running the Mobula8 with DJI 03. Throttle, Pitch Yaw and Roll all respond in Betaflight. But when I arm the drone to fly only Pitch, Yaw and Roll work. Using the DJI remote 2. Do I need to adjust the thresholds in the receiver tab or something?
Very helpful video. Thank you for your efforts to make this subject more understandable. I followed all the instructions, but even though my Goggles 2 are binded to the O3 Unit, when I arm still it does not start recording automatically, I still need to go to the menu of the Goggles and select record from there.
@@TheHelicapt I figured out. In my case I was plugging the USB C cable to the O3 Unit and was thinking that I can make it work that way. But only with the cable not enough power goes to the unit. You need to attach a battery to your quad. You can only bind with while on USB C cable, but you won't see it on the Goggles. Use a battery on your quad and it should be working. Don't forget to remove the props on your quad before that. Hope it helps
I currently have the vista set up on my FC, but I am getting the O3 on monday. Assuming all the wiring is correct, and assuming I don't personally have a need to add anything from betaflight's OSD at the moment, shouldn't the DJI OSD theoretically come up on my goggles as soon as they are bound together, without any presets in betaflight?
hey there i found your channel recently so much good info as im very new to the hobby. ive finally got everything pretty well dialed. is there a way to get a DJI o3 air unit to goggles signal strength represented in the OSD i just got a bit of trouble watching the goggles signal strength as the native OSD icon is small. thanks!
I have V2 goggles, i bound of one of my quad and changed to second quad and bound. When i use my 1st quad again, do i need to rebind? Thank you for answer
You mentioned that if air unit LED will not become solid red after plugging in battery it's most likely the unit is not fully powered. Looks like I'm experiencing that issue in my diy nazgul evoque v2 build. Brand new o3 properly wired but powering up battery make air unit led solid green - pairing button doesn't have any effect of course. My FC is Iflight Blitz mini f7 - and honestly can get my head around with this - you suggested some power switch, but can't find anything in BF.
FOCUS ISSUE!! Is there a way to focus the 03 Air Unit? Our is only focused at extreme close and I do not know how to get it to get the focus back to far for flying. Thanks!
Mine won’t arm either. Goggles show “BADRX”. Looking for answers too. Good luck. I’ll try to remember to come back here and update if I find anything useful.
Hi is it possible to attach this to a RC car without a FC and just power it from the battery balance lead? And will it bind with the DJI google2 automatically?
Hi boss, many thanks for your fantastic guide and tutorials, I have an absurd problem with my two new dji O3s: I have two Kakute H7 fc mounted on two of my 5" freestyles, the first is a H7 V2: when I connected it to the O3 the fc is dead, it is no longer powered by usb or from lipo, with the second fc which is a Kakute H7 V1.2, if it's connected the plug to the O3 air unit, the quad does not arm, I see in my dji V2 the image from the cam but the quad does not arm: I checked the connections between the fc and the O3 air unit several times and they are correct in both cases: what can I do to solve it? what could be the problem? many thanks
Do you have a guide showing the actual frequencies that the stock O3 air unit uses? A friend and I were flying at 20MHz on O3 channel 3 (5839.6 MHz I believe) and Vista unit at 50 MB/s on channel 1 (5695 MHz). I thought these two frequencies would be safe from interference, but we were both getting terribly glitchy pixelation. We decided to throw logic out the window and fly on the following: O3 air unit: 20 MHz channel 1 (5768.5 MHz I believe) Vista unit: 50 MB/s chanel 2 (5770 MHz) On this second flight, we had absolutely zero pixelation or interference. Nothing else changed (we were flying in the same location, the same distance apart, etc.) Based on what you said at 21:18, it appears that our O3 air unit is in CE mode. I don't know if that factors at all, but I would like to know if there was a definitive guide on frequencies, because, based on my understanding of the frequencies, our test shouldn't have worked without interference.
Hi there hope you can help I've powered my 03air with a 2s lipo the wires are solder to the fan wires and the plug plugs into the lipo it all works but won't record to the micro sd in the border it trys but then says low power mode activated won't record and It drops signal for about 5 _8 seconds then comes back on any ideas many thanks
Thanks Ian . Love your videos mate. But I have a question on switching to my vista units with my DJI v2 goggles. Every time I switch from 03 to Vista it keeps telling me to power cycle my goggles then i have to rebind every time . This is so annoying. Is there a solution to this? Thanks Ian
Sadly no. This is how DJI designed it. There are some technical limitations to how they implemented the different modes in the goggles and it results in the need to rebind when you switch modes.
Great video, thank you. Just out of curiosity, do we know if having all of this power, does it have any adverse health issues on our body, especially the brain?
when low power state is gone after armed, that gonna shutdown automatically?, because i already get failsafe 2 times because of automatically disconnect, its like overheat on dji o3 unit, but just flight 1 half minute
You mentioned connecting the 03 camera wire connectors to a flight controller OR a power supply. I'm trying to use my 03 camera on a fixed wing aircraft that does not have a flight controller, only an ESC. Can the power leads just be connected to a battery using the power leads on the camera? I'm told that the camera goes into a low power mode. (.25) How does the low power mode still supply enough power to operate the camera at normal 'line of site' ranges? Can I use those power supply of a balance plug of the proper voltage? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
You can absolutely use O3 just on the battery with in its accepted voltage range with out an FC however it’s worth noting while you can turn off low power mode it’s still not full RF power and as such you may get reduced range. O3 Must have an Arming command from a flight controller to get full RF power.
Hey Ian, I just bought the goggles 2 and updated it to the latest firmware and I also did that with the Caddx vista I’m using. When the quad is not armed I got 6mbs and when I arm it goes to 47mbs but when I arm and before I see the 47mbs I got a 0.5sec black screen like a black screen. What is this? Thanks already!
This absolutely the best guide to date on this new unit. I do wonder if DJI will enventually license/allow RunCam to produce their own branded units given that Caddx has gone the way of the TREX.
the mamba mk4 f740 aio power the o3 air unit directly with vbat.... is there any over heating or risk by doing that......the aio also have a tvs diod protection for safety ..... or i need to cut the wire and add a bec for safety...... please help.. i am a little bit confused
Very much appreciated big dawg. Whole othe point though you should spread the word however you can. Basically flite test is trying to raise the 250g to 1kg. They posted last night on their CBO channel I think. And I'm just trying to make sure you big view guys are also aware ASAP.
Your videos are borderline too informational, but I do learn a great deal from you, so thanks! This is related somewhat, but I have the Avata 2 which was my first drone (I am now addicted to FPV) ever. I now own an RTF TanQ 2 5” from Rotor Riot, with the DJI O3 and DJI receiver and the F7 HD+F55A ProII 3-6S 30/30 with F7 FC and 32 bit 55A ESC and I have it flying well and I love it, but I wanted to find limitations for the compatibility with the Remote 3 and Goggles 3 with custom Quads. In 1 video when you reviewed the DJI O3 system you mentioned that you were better off with a different remote as the DJI FPV 3 actually is sending to the goggles 3, then to the air unit for control. I have read if you have a DJI O3 HD and DJI receiver you are married to their FPV remote, but I believe I heard you say otherwise. If i have choices for a remote with the Goggles3/Tanq 2, what would be compatible? Thanks!
Great vid as always. I have an 03 air unit, v2 goggles and controller 2. I can’t get rid of the country code error. I have refreshed the updates but still get the message. Also, I can’t access the advanced functions in the controller as they aren’t highlighted. And I can’t change from 16:9 to 4:3. Some strange stuff going on.
Hi, not found any info of flying my 03 while others are flying vista and the old air unit, no option to drop to 25mw, and are the channels different? Flying today with 03 while someone flying vista, I was on channel 3 he was on channel 1 seemed ok for a while then his picture blacked out.
Thanks for the great video. I have 1 question: If I delete the existing Ham-File from the Sd-Card and I restart the goggles V2, the powermode goes back/ less RF-Power? Ham-File must be always on the Sd-Card? Thanks a lot
No once it’s done it will stay till either you connect to assistant 2 or you reset the goggles to factory settings. You do not need to leave it on the card in normal use.
@Mads Tech do you know of a preset for betaflight 4.3 if I'm using the 03 air unit with the DJI controller? Supafly is only 4.4 I believe, at least I don't see one for DJI remote only one with the options for crossfire and ELRS etc.
Hi can you please help on setup dji air unit o3? I recorded video 6 times both in my goggles and air unit internal storage. I found exact 6 videos in my goggles but in o3 only found 3 videos.
I purchased a flywoo with a 03 unit. And it shows up in the app but will not pop up the activation window. Any suggestions? Is there a way to look at my account and see what’s activated on my account?
great video and very helpful!! i just got the o3 air unit for my rc planes. im in market for goggles now but i was wondering if i need a flight controller for o3 or if it would connect to Spektrum Air Receiver??
My unit does go into full RF power mode however the Mps are super low even when in close range. Like 28mps not 50? My other 3 quads with the same set up work fine. Does anyone know what’s going on here? I’ve tried a couple different new antennas on the air unit also. Thanks
struggling to find the solution , i have betaflight osd but no dji osd voltge 0.0 with low power, but betaflight osd show all correct . i also try that on different fc with different cable same problem /;
I got the 03 mode in my Goggles V2 , but I have no way to adjust the power in mw , range seems fine🤔. Also when switching to air mode on my new iflight there's no air mode weird , but flys great lol
Very nice video. I know that this is a guide for betaflight , but I wonder if you have any idea for inav. For now , inav has not OSD support . But when I arm the quad , it exits from low power mode and starts recording. The problem is that I have 0 Volts in my V2 goggles for the battery of the quad and the signal is weaker from the previous air unit. Is it possible that this msp behavior , affects the strength of the signal , or from the moment it exits low power mode is irrelevant ? Thanks in advance
HI. Are the settings for sharpness and noise reduction only available for the newer dji goggles two, as the settings are not there on my dji v2 goggles? thanks.
Hi Ian, thank you very much for your work and efforts to make this subject more understandable for beginners FPV pilots like me. I have question. I recently bought DJI Avata with Goggles Integra and FPV controller 2. I had some issues loosing connection and with the help of your videos I was able to switch to FCC mode using the ham file hack. I also bought the GEPRC CineLog 35 V2 PNP version and trying to use the same Goggles Integra and FPV Controller 2 to fly the the CineLog 35 V2 with the same set up. The question is if I update firmware on the Goggles Integra do I need to perform the ham hack again in order not to loose the FCC mode when I use to the Avata? Thank you again for your time and efforts.
I have a Nazgul Evoque with the O3 inside but it doesn't record on Arming! All OSD works fine. Any thoughts! Have not got a SD card in yet but it's set to internal storage.
@@MadRC OK cool I'll look at that. The last two flights it didn't record on the Air unit just the goggles even though it showed as recording in the goggles. Reading other threads I think it may have been because I pressed record in the goggles before I armed and so in low power mode it didn't record. Do you know if you can set up a switch on the remote to start and stop recording (Tx 12) like the Avarta and the DJI Remote. I don't record every flight just parts of it and taking one hand of the sticks in Acro to navigate the goggles to record and stop isn't ideal!!
Why is my 03 au only recording bitrate and delay and nothing else also I have the iflight chimera 7 pro V2 worth the 03 au should I direct solder the au directly to battery power
Did u get it working? Trying to make a wing myself with 03 unit and my v2 goggkes and rc2 remote but not clear if the remote will work, I know it does for a drone but not a wing

Hi there. Fan of your channel. I had an issue with my o3 air unit. The video went black while in the air and now while diagnosing there is no video at all and all connections are good. I noticed the air unit green light is blinking and not solid. Also tried rebinding but it’s already bound. Any idea what this means? And how should I go about troubleshooting? Can it be something to do with the rx tx Thanks
How are you powering it, if it’s on a BEC try directly to the battery. If that don’t work try a firmware reflash. The flashing green is usually power related or binding.
Why is my dji 03 air unit in ce mode in the first place? I live in the us and I activated it in the us so why are all of my dji air units in ce mode I don't understand.
hi sir, please help. i have my O3 working with OSD and everything. but i cant seem to be able to control camera (such as start and stop recording) with my ELRS control.. please any thoughts??
Great review. I just returned mine as I fly INAV 7.1 and found the OSD to be almost useless. I simply could not get a descent layout as the presentation in the goggles did not match even remotely the layout in the INAV OSD setup screen. I have several Caddx and Runcam units which work perfectly with WTFOSD. So my plane is to eventually go with Walksnail Avatar instead of going down another of DJI's rabbit holes.
This is an interring one. I had it once but I can’t replicate. My advice would be to update both the goggles and Airunit again in Assistant 2 for FPV and then connect your phone with the fly app to the system and let it get your location.
Iv had this error after alot of research and endless hours on forums I decided to get in touch with dji they replaced my o3 air model and still had same problem so seem to be on the goggle side have just shipped both Googles and air unit to there repair service. Still waiting to hear back from them. But maybe when I find out what the problem is I will let mads tech know as its a problem a small amount of people have and there is no solution to be found online!
@@peterhoughton69 I have seen it a few times with users and its caused by the AU/Goggle not knowing your location so it cant set the correct region. I have helped resolved by doing the following. 1: Refresh the firmware on both Goggles and Airunit making sure you are logged into your DJI Account in Assistant 2 and you have all the the privacy options turned on. the latter is very important. 2: Bind and connect your goggles to you phone and open up DJI Fly app and allow it to connect, in the top left corner it should have your location shown, if its not you will need to take it outside and allow your phone to get the location. The basics are is it needs to get your location to set the region. .
My air Unit is blinking red and green at the Same Time when im powering it up. I dont Know What to do, everthing is connectet up correctly and it has enough power. Dont Know What to do know
Nice work mate! Could you do a video going through camera settings etc and best you have found and the differences. Cine vs just everyday FPV flying. Thanks and keep up the great work!
I try to keep the ISO value under 400 (100 for daylight) meaning I’ll tinker with the exposure values a bit more until I like it. Using V2 goggles and “how I like it” ends up with an exposure reading of around -0.3
I agree that the low light is pretty bad, luckily the parking lot I fly has those new LED light poles. What helped for me is to turn the sharpening down to 0 in the setting, reduces noise significantly.
Hi Ian, I am looking to run a FPV unit on a go kart. Couple of concerns, would the stabilisation on the camera cope, or would it be too much vibration (fair bit of vibration) can I use the 03 unit & just power it up & bind with a onboard 2s pack. I have a DJi avata for flight with goggles 2, hoping to link from goggles to IPad for live feed screen. Any advice would be appreciated
This Information is so useful!!! Thanks! I would love it if you found away to get the air unit to perform at max without the use of a flight controller as I am using it in an RC plane.

@@teovuksan3469 I'm pretty sure the problem with mine is the BEC may be fried. It is part of the Flight controller so I have ordered a new one but wont know for sure till I install it
Thanks @Mads Tech , couldn't get my OSD working, your video fixed it 😊
Hello Mads, I have started FPV last week-end with Goggles 2/iflight Protek 35 O3.
Do you mount the O3 with double sided tape? Why are there no mounting screws
Did it again and again and then i left it connected while i was browzing my internet for fix then when i came to check the dji assistant, it was popped up as dji 03 air unit
I guess leave it a while when it gets connected automatically
@@siansalins3639 yeah I actually left it and then downloaded dji assistant on a different computer and it worked. Pretty weird lol
Any tips?
Do you think there is a way to use dji fpv controller 2 with crossfire reciever? This would be awsome to prevent looseing signal
How do you connect it directly to a battery, if want to use it on an Rc truck?
were you able to use crash flip mode?
On the latest Betaflight...does the VX(MSP) still need to be selected to work OCD etc for DJI 03 ?
Hi This is a great video, I've learnt a lot from watching this but i do have a question that maybe you or someone else here can answer, I've got the 03 air unit and im using the sparrow2 flight controller, everything works ok and i've flown the plane its all in and flight modes all work fine but i am not getting the on screen display from flight controller to air unit showing on my goggles, I just have the on screen display from goggles only in bottom right corner, Any idea what could be stopping the on screen display from FC not showing on goggles, Also, air unit won't come out of low power mode. I'm in the UK and air unit is new. Thanks.
How were you able to connect o3 unit to the Betaflight configurator? Can't make it. Even though it is set to com7 port in system.
Quick question.
Running the Mobula8 with DJI 03.
Throttle, Pitch Yaw and Roll all respond in Betaflight.
But when I arm the drone to fly only Pitch, Yaw and Roll work.
Using the DJI remote 2.
Do I need to adjust the thresholds in the receiver tab or something?
will you open the o3 antenna plastic cover. love to know how to check inside.
Very helpful video. Thank you for your efforts to make this subject more understandable. I followed all the instructions, but even though my Goggles 2 are binded to the O3 Unit, when I arm still it does not start recording automatically, I still need to go to the menu of the Goggles and select record from there.
I have the same problem. whats the solution ?
@@TheHelicapt I figured out. In my case I was plugging the USB C cable to the O3 Unit and was thinking that I can make it work that way. But only with the cable not enough power goes to the unit. You need to attach a battery to your quad. You can only bind with while on USB C cable, but you won't see it on the Goggles. Use a battery on your quad and it should be working. Don't forget to remove the props on your quad before that. Hope it helps
@@sethvane669 thanks
Did you find solution for this issue? I’m experiencing exactly the same with my brand new mark5 for the last few weeks
if i just want to use the 03 air unit to bind to my goggles 3 and install in roban 800 heli do i still need a flight controller ?
FOCUS ISSUE!! Is there a way to focus the 03 Air Unit? Our is only focused at extreme close and I do not know how to get it to get the focus back to far for flying. Thanks!
my air unit wont arm and is showing MSP instead of arming any help please just built and spent hours trying to figure it out. thank you
Mine won’t arm either. Goggles show “BADRX”. Looking for answers too. Good luck. I’ll try to remember to come back here and update if I find anything useful.
Hi - great video - do you know if this can be fitted to a DJI Avata ? thanks
We decided to throw logic out the window and fly on the following:
O3 air unit: 20 MHz channel 1 (5768.5 MHz I believe)
Vista unit: 50 MB/s chanel 2 (5770 MHz)
On this second flight, we had absolutely zero pixelation or interference. Nothing else changed (we were flying in the same location, the same distance apart, etc.)
Based on what you said at 21:18, it appears that our O3 air unit is in CE mode.
Hey Mads, i just wondering if that unit can be record without flight controller? 'cause i think maybe could be use as bikers tiny vlog camera
@@MadRC ok thanks Ian

Thanks!
You can use whar every remote system you want on O3, Dji can not force you to use theirs inav and betaflight can take any remote.
I can't either. Tried the DJ fly app to get gps even. Can't find a solution yet. Did you ever figure it out?
Hi, not found any info of flying my 03 while others are flying vista and the old air unit, no option to drop to 25mw, and are the channels different? Flying today with 03 while someone flying vista, I was on channel 3 he was on channel 1 seemed ok for a while then his picture blacked out.
hi , is there a chance that dji O3 could get the osd on the dvr with the google V2 ?
I found exact 6 videos in my goggles but in o3 only found 3 videos.

great video and very helpful!! i just got the o3 air unit for my rc planes. im in market for goggles now but i was wondering if i need a flight controller for o3 or if it would connect to Spektrum Air Receiver??
My unit does go into full RF power mode however the Mps are super low even when in close range. Like 28mps not 50?
My other 3 quads with the same set up work fine. Does anyone know what’s going on here?

I got the 03 mode in my Goggles V2 , but I have no way to adjust the power in mw , range seems fine🤔. Also when switching to air mode on my new iflight there's no air mode weird , but flys great lol
Is there a chance of getting a tumor due to the extra power?
and how do I know what UART is my board using?
sup man. ive gotta problem with googles v2 drv. its not showing gps coords in it, but googles shows this info
Yea you will need to do it again but only on the goggles. Just place the ham file back on the sd card and boot up after the update.

I have a Nazgul Evoque with the O3 inside but it doesn't record on Arming! All OSD works fine. Any thoughts! Have not got a SD card in yet but it's set to internal storage.
There is a setting in the Goggles 2 for this. Under the camera settings and advance I think it is. It’s buried some what.

Can it be something to do with the rx tx
Thanks
How are you powering it, if it’s on a BEC try directly to the battery. If that don’t work try a firmware reflash. The flashing green is usually power related or binding.
I’m powering the unit straight to power.
I updated to the latest firmware. I’ll check connections again. Thank you
Why is my dji 03 air unit in ce mode in the first place? I live in the us and I activated it in the us so why are all of my dji air units in ce mode I don't understand.
hi sir, please help. i have my O3 working with OSD and everything. but i cant seem to be able to control camera (such as start and stop recording) with my ELRS control.. please any thoughts??
Aren't those functions available on the goggle controls? Sorry if I'm wrong, only used the last generation of air units
Might be a silly question BUT I activated my goggles v2 and 03 in the US so should it just automatically be in the FCC mode?
Yea you should be fine.
Thanks for the info. Any chance you can please help with the “Country Code not Updated” error on 03 and V2 goggles?

Dont Know What to do know
Thank you for explaining. Very well done!
Nice work mate! Could you do a video going through camera settings etc and best you have found and the differences. Cine vs just everyday FPV flying. Thanks and keep up the great work!
I feel like the o3 air unit is really bad at night/in low light with the auto settings. What are good manual video settings for night/low light?
I try to keep the ISO value under 400 (100 for daylight) meaning I’ll tinker with the exposure values a bit more until I like it.
Using V2 goggles and “how I like it” ends up with an exposure reading of around -0.3
I agree that the low light is pretty bad, luckily the parking lot I fly has those new LED light poles. What helped for me is to turn the sharpening down to 0 in the setting, reduces noise significantly.
Thanks so much. the OSD info really helped!!
Thank you very much from Brazil
Hi Ian, I am looking to run a FPV unit on a go kart. Couple of concerns, would the stabilisation on the camera cope, or would it be too much vibration (fair bit of vibration) can I use the 03 unit & just power it up & bind with a onboard 2s pack. I have a DJi avata for flight with goggles 2, hoping to link from goggles to IPad for live feed screen. Any advice would be appreciated
This sounds cool, are u driving with goggles on or making a fpv rc gokart?
