Welcome to Mocha Chocolate Monday’s, special Breast Cancer Awareness Month Series. Meet Ms. Alfrieda Perry, a Breast Implant Illness survivor warrior! Alfrieda suffered from BII (Breast Implant Illness) for nine years before knowing what was going on with her breast. She visited a series of doctors and eventually found one who understood the disease and was able to address the issues she had with her breast. The doctor recommend that she have her implants removed and it has made all the difference in her health. I hope that you are inspired by her story and that you will contact your doctor if you notice any abnormalities with your breast. Today she is a 23-year breast cancer survivor worrier!
