I found your channel and you made your tutorials in such a way that I understood and I could follow your instructions. I love your designs and your card stock. My concern is the ink prices. I started my sublimation journey with a sawgrass. Started with 8x10 and then added the 13x19 so spent 3,000 and when they started forcing us to use their ink only at $70 each for 4 x 2 printers I was out and switched to epson eco and love it so much cheaper but do have to run all the time to prevent clogs- sawgrass is a no maintenance system but not worth the cost in ink. It always went fast
@@ashleefalcoreally? I just got lucky - which is something that sometimes happens lol Iâve yet to have a clog in any of the 3 printers ðĪðž but I know others that constantly battle them. I know if I had I probably would have given up right away.
This new machine looks interesting but I think Iâd rather have a A3 UV printer that will do the same thing while being able to âprintâ on many more things than just a DTF printer can do. I would however love it if Xtool would come out with a UV laser engraving/marking machine. Iâd be first in line for one of those for sure.
I have known about xTool DTF Printer successfully CES where it was "purposely leaked". Print size and price point are going to be interesting but $4 grand in their sneak peak.
@ashleefalco the DTF machine was leaked by xTool during the CES in Vegas. Then everybody started talking. I think it forced them to get their sneak peak video up. Lol
@ashleefalco that's what it says under the q&a. It's says the shaker oven is not included in that price It's just the printer. Am I the only one seeing that?

Yes the epson ecotank 8550 has 6 ink ports. But you need to remove the rollers.

Iâve heard a lot of other crafters actually have issues with their sawgrass printers clogging.
