I didn't lose my combo I was finding videos of people breaking this lock I just got to see how fast my bike could be stolen, this video proves if they are a semi person they could breach my lock and steal my bike within minutes.
Correct. In practice most thieves will cut locks/chains/cables instead, but a small percentage can easily figure out how to decode combo bike locks like this. They don't have to carry any tools either.
Second bike lock video that I watched and attempted to replicate...and I succeeded within two minutes of the video ending. My particular lock only ranged from numbers 1 to 6 with 4 slots but the method was exactly as you demonstrated. You gave right proper instruction, jolly good mate!
Once you get a feel for the resistance of the detents on the wheels, this method works great. Got it on the 2nd try. My son thought it would be hilarious to intentionally set an unknown code then scramble it. kids.... Thankyou for your demo. The sustained pulling was more difficult than I expected haha
Fantastic you got it open! Yea it's kind of a combination of art, skill & strength. And tough fingers ... I often wear gloves. You've learned a new skill - well done! 😜😜
Excellent demonstration mate. This looked very tuff to do and hard on the hands, Getting blisters without gloves is not fun. I wonder with these type of locks if there is a less stressful on the hands way to open them besides cutting the thin wire they come with, cheers
Hehe yea cutting the thin wire is certainly a weak point! That's a good question ... there should be an easier method ... I'll have to investigate. Thank you PW! 😜😜
I had to apply tension to pull the parts away from each other (just like in the video) but there were no evident signs of correct combinations first. First tried brute force method for 2000 combinations, still keeping tension, but then suddenly I noticed that the rightmost wheel didn't turn freely anymore. First thought lock got broken but then same happened to the third wheel from the left. I could feel how something changed. After that also the remaining two wheels from the left got into correct positions and the lock opened.
With the indirect method you have to pull hard with constant tension. It doesn't look like it in the video but I'm actually pulling constantly very hard (and you can hear me puffing in the video). The harder you pull the more you'll be able to feel it. It requires strength and also strong fingers to turn the wheels will pulling hard. Wearing gloves is a must to stop blisters. Good luck!
There is this method: th-cam.com/video/PWF5vi13a1g/w-d-xo.html ... which is based on: th-cam.com/video/Rn_Q3zWQhCY/w-d-xo.html When trying the indirect method, note that it only works when applying strong constant tension. You could also try the Sideways method for a bike lock, eg: my video 190 th-cam.com/video/e0xpSiTtvNA/w-d-xo.html It only works on some locks though (but when it does, it can work well). If all else fails, you may have to try every single combination. Good luck!
All of the videos using that stupid pick trick isn't fucking working man ! There's got to be some other way ? How does Master lock sell locks that cant be opened ?
I've come across master locks that have been much more of a challenge. First, you need constant tension (I'm using quite strong tension even though it doesn't look like it in the video). The closer you are to the correct combination code, the more feedback you'll have (the more things will tighten up, and tighten up by a jump, making it obvious). It can be tricky finding the correct number on the first wheel (and also the 2nd wheel). Sometime I have to try a number on the first wheel that feels good and I go through the motions with the other wheels, but if I don't get anywhere then I go back and try a different number on the first wheel that feels good.

Very slick! Only wish I had seen this video before trying to go through all 1296 combinations. (Cracked it on my 78th combo). Thank you!
Oh! - trying every combination is definitely a valid technique, as long as you're patient enough!

Oh that's fantastic that the same method worked on your particular lock. I think your one is not so common. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you! I used this lock as a missionary but the didn't bike for a while and forgot the code. This totally helped out. I appreciate you!
So glad it helped! Thank you for the nice feedback.
Thanks a lot. I've found lost combination lock ( 5 digits ) and tried many times before found your method and success rather easly.
Brilliant! I'm so glad the video was helpful. Thank you for the feedback!
Awesome thank you , this method fixed our lock !!
Oh I'm so glad it helped! Cheers and have a great day 😄
Was able to do it about the time the video ended. Another method didn't work. Thanks, I get to use the lock again.
Nice! Well done on sticking with it and getting it open!
Second lock you've helped me find the code for. You truly rock! :D
LOL fantastic! Have a wonderful day. Cheers hehe 😜😜
Amazing, it worked, got it open in 5 minutes. Thanks a lot.
That's fantastic to hear! Well done and have a great day 😄

Great method, just opened a lock recently found on a walk.
Excellent! Great that the video was helpful 😜😜
Hey how much was it worth
Same here. Just found a nice master lock while out riding my bike. Looks almost new now I just have to unlock it
Great video, bike locks can be a real battle and requires quite a bit of strength and staminer. Well done.
Thank you! Yea I feel I need to go to the gym and/or do rock climbing to build up the required strength lol 😜😜Cheers mate!

Any videos on if the actual numbers and lock cogs come off and how to put them back in place under tension?
The cogs come off? Are they designed to come off or is your lock broken?
I just tried this and it works a treat
Fantastic! So glad the video was helpful - cheers
Got it on the first try. Thanks!
Excellent! You must have a natural feel for it, as usually it takes time. Well done!
Worked for me! Thank you!
Excellent! I'm so glad the video was helpful.
It took me 5mins to unlock my bike lock thanks 🎉😂
That's fantastic! Well done. And now you have to new skill too 😄
Great info and demo buddy.👍
Thank you mate! Have a great picking week 😜😜
Nice, useful info as these things are super common!
Cheers for the nice feedback! Have a great picking week 😜😜
Thank you so much it worked😍🥰♥️
Fantastic! So glad the video was helpful - cheers!
I was able to open a code lock in 30 minutes. Some learning first but the lock got open. It went a bit different than in these videos.
Fantastic work - well done for figuring it out! What did you have to do differently?

THANK YOU
You're welcome 😄
Thanks worked for me also
Excellent! Well done for getting it open - cheers
This doesn't work, any pther methods?
There is this method:

Man , I've been doing that pick trick for 40 years. But It's not fucking workin pal !

You took up the whole 8 mins and some. Wow, most people don't wanna watch a video that long boo. Shorten it up next display, lol. No harm intended😊
Hehe thank you for the feedback. Yea, you're right ... the trend is certainly to towards short videos!
If you think an 8 minute video is long, boy oh boy… we are doomed
8 minutes is good time for something like this.
That's an issue with the brain rot not the content creator.
