Yet even he was not prepared for God to use a foreign nation to execute judgment on His people. While he questioned God’s purposes, the prophet also listened to God’s response: that the righteous will live by faith. As Alistair Begg explains, the Lord works salvation for His people through Christ, and one day the earth will be filled with His glory. In this we can greatly rejoice!

Watching this in Nov 2023, who would have thought we'd be in more chaos than the time of the plandemic?? Today we seem to have moved further from God, rather than turning to Him asking for His mercy. Great sermon Pastor Begg, a must listen.

In hindsight, now that the Pandemic is over, I find your words even more wise, dear Brother. Thank you to all my Forever Family, at Truth For Life, for fighting The Good Fight and sharing this. We need it even more now.
I have been listening to this pastor for sometime now on the radio. Love his clear Biblical teaching and preaching. Been watching him in the debates with RC Sproul and Legionair Ministries. Love what Hod has and is doing in these men of God. This has always been my favorite scripture. Thank you for truth.

Alistair did great here and I'm glad he kept preaching during the lockdown. You can feel the difference though: his humor and smiles are a little more muted and he is missing the reaction/feedback of his congregation. It's a tough thing to preach when the congregation isn't there (my old Pastor did it as well), but they did it to help their congregation.

Monday evening; 10:28 South Dakota time, Feb 13, 2023:
I first listened to this in early 2021. My husband had died of Covid in hospital in October of 2020.
He was a pastor of a small sweet congregation, and we as his family and congregation. were devastated.
In the night watches when I could not sleep; and my grief was so over-whelming; I listened to this sermon, and I was comforted.
God is good, all the time; even in the darkness.

I enjoy your teachings tremendously and I and I seem to listen to them daily. There is one thing I would like you to speak on if you would and that is today's profits.
And why they are given no credit for telling God's truth, Not all, mind you but some.
I would love to hear scripture and verse Relaying the message not to listen to modern day profits. I'm not speaking of false teachers, I'm speaking in regards to Acts 2:17.

@@norasanchez2348 Peace 2 u, as well- I re-listen again, as done b4 commenting, & found the same thing, which was, he said, "we pray in your name." 'Praying in your name & praying in Jesus name' are 2 different things.

Bless your ministry.......your wisdom is definitely from God.......my grandmother taught me much from the Word......she sang many of the old hymns, while I helped her do the laundry .....and those songs come back repeatedly, she is in heaven now, no doubt singing with the angels.
