Suffering in the Believer’s Life

- We may not understand God’s specific purposes for the suffering we face. As Alistair Begg points out, however, ignoring suffering does not work, nor does suffering in and of itself bring us closer to God. Instead, the right way to deal with suffering is to bow under the sovereignty of God’s purposes and see our circumstances through the lens of the cross. Only then can we trust God’s plan amidst difficulty, even without seeing the whole picture.

I was recently given a diagnosis concerning a chronic, but not terminal disease that I am now forever afflicted with. Thus far it has wrought within me a deep humility, and an abiding empathy for others that I previously did not possess. I was asked by a dear Christian brother if I had become mad at God, which caught me a bit off guard. My answer to his question was an emphatic NO. It was a great question, and an even greater revelation.
Jesus strengthen you

Keep your eyes on Jesus my sister. He loves you very much and will help you through this difficult illness. Hallelujah Jesus our Lord and Savior.
Just wait till you get old when everything starts hurting . . . It's a constant reminder of our mortality

Suffering never ends
When I pray for spiritual growth and advancement I always grip my hands and sincerely, sincerely say "but please don't make it hurt".
Unfortunately, for me, speaking on behalf of my life experience, the pain and suffering is how I (we?) grow!

That Female with the 3 degrees failed Saying You can Add anything to Wikipedia while throwing In an insult was Very Corny and Childish No one with any type of degree would say something foolish like that and you cant just add or edit anything to Wikipedia.. You do realize there are rules & requirements when you try to add or edit something they go through Moderation and Get Challenged By other editors so She was incorrect.
