    I LOVE how the 2.5 Turbo sounds (despite the Engine Harmonics Enhancer) in the CX-5 vs. the 3. that uhh squeal (?) that you described is addicting to listen to

    Nice review. A set of lowering springs and better tyres would really improve the handling.

    Excellent camera placement. Best I've seen in all my drive reviews. Surprised that reviewet thinks power is just ok. Heard from most people it's really quick. Was premium used ?

    • @radialreviews
      @radialreviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! In my opinion, next to the Mazda3 Carbon Edition I tested this was definitely a bit slower with a power dip in the 4-6k rpm range after 40mph. Thanks for the camera comment, I’m glad my early videos are already well angled:)

      As for fuel, I believe it was running on regular 87 octane

    • @tricia154
      @tricia154 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@radialreviews Yeah idk why Mazda has their auto modes tuned for hitting 4-6k RPM at all below 100mph... Best performance is had upshifting around 3900-4400 and downshifting at 2500 RPM

      @@radialreviews the Mazda 3 is close to 1000 lbs lighter.

      @@tricia154 you don't know why? Are you serious? It s very obviously above 5000 rmp, the engine just have no power output. Do some simple research before you ask question.

    I like compact SUVs that takeoff good and have a stiff suspension. I don’t know what you mean about the sound of the engine being pumped into the cabin. Do you mean it’s coming through the speakers?

    • @radialreviews
      @radialreviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah some cars have sound amplified through the speakers to simulate and enhance engine tone. I’m not sure whether this has it.

    I test-drove a CX-5 this weekend and noticed the tire noise which can drive anybody mad.

    320 ft/lb tourque is adequate .....?what is great to you for an suv.

    • @radialreviews
      @radialreviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m saying adequate as substantial enough, nothing crazy not but bad at all

    • @patrickgagnon9662
      @patrickgagnon9662 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@radialreviews Like I said , what are the numbers for horses and torque for them to be great ...NOT ADEQUATE....If CX-5s numbers are adequate ...what are the rest of the car companies numbers , inadequate?

    • @radialreviews
      @radialreviews  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m saying that numbers don’t tell a whole story for any car. A vehicle itself paired with its transmission and other parts decide how it feels in my driving opinion. The turbo felt fine here, enough power. It isn’t a performance SUV but it also doesn’t try to be, and is reasonably quick in its paces.

    • @patrickgagnon9662
      @patrickgagnon9662 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@radialreviews Like I said twice , in an SUV [small] what is better than adequate ....name a more powerful suv in this class you consider better than adequate , adequate means just good enough ...this car is beyond just good enough , words matter.
