  • I have edited a few clips from Warren's retirement from the CyRide board in June, 2017 with comments from Ann Campbell, me, and Warren's final comments.
Warren was one of the key policy makers who had the most influence on the success of CyRide. He (along with Ann Campbell, Wayne Moore, and Jennifer Larson) was responsible for the leadership needed to make CyRide successful. His thoughtful discussion on issues, strong vision of what transit can do for ISU and for Ames, and careful analysis of all options were defining characteristics of a great leader. He thoroughly respected the students on the board and helped them develop their thoughts and positions for better bus service. His ability to provide entrance into the inner workings of ISU were key to involvement of many departments and their ability to be successful with the assistance of great bus service.
Warren served on the Transit Board from August, 1985 to June, 1987.
