  • Im back, and thank you all for 100 subscribers! I hope this video was worth the wait, ill make more soon. I’m so happy to now have a #852, shes one of the prettiest shorthairs imo. It wasnt very difficult to restore her either. I’m definitely going to make more of these old custom restorations.
And dont worry, I wasn’t the one who painted her :)
My mission is to save lps, even if they seem too common to care. Eventually there will be a day where lps no longer exist, and I along with others will prolong that day.

Hey! Reborn doll artist here! For glossy areas like lips and nails, we use a product called Alene’s Paper Glaze, which is a scrapbooking medium that leave a glossy finish! Hopefully you can use that to replicate the glossy look! :)

I found a (poorly) customized shorthair lps on an internet marketplace in my country and i'm planning to either try to restore it, or remove all the paint and customize it to replicate the tuxedo shorthair prototype. Icm pretty excited already as I have only tried to restore onf collie before. Itcs still not perfect, i can't get the nailpolish out of her inner ear quite yet.

i literally got into lps again. i've had so many toys of gen 1 and 2 but most of them are sadly missing. however i found some of the ones that i like. gen 1 toys are not in any good shape sadly. i have #358 husky that i drew its face with ballpoint pen and a #363 collie that i painted over with acrylics. it does peel off a bit but it is so hard to remove! and i have so many more to restore. i don't really know how to restore them but i hope i'll learn a few things here. :3

What might you recommend doing for an LPS who has a head that won’t stop bobbling? Even when I set her down, the head continues to go for quite a bit of time. It’s also LPS 2046, which costs a fortune, so I’d like to stop this.

Hey!! i’ve just figured out that it comes from the spring, its a different kind. The more bobblier one has less coils then the normal ones. So I guess if it bothers you too much you could just do a peg swap? I wish there was a thing such as a spring transplant but I havent been able to do one yet.
