    you have the rear sway bar on wrong. remove the 2 top transmission mount screws where it mounts to the chassis behind the shock tower. use the longer screws and washers that come with the sway bar to hold it in place in the 2 transmission mount screw holes. the bar runs to the rear of the a-arms (the stock a arms have holes in them) screw the links into the a arms and the sway bar hooks to the links.

      oh man , i wish i never did the upgrade. To be fair i learned alot about rc during this upgrade but the rabbit hole has gotten so deep because of the wear and tear a bash takes when it goes faster. i wish i kept it at speeds it was built for.
      im over 3k for a $450 dollar slash 4x4 ?? in what world does that make any sense ?? body's , arms , shocks , servo's , wheels , lights , batteries , fans , driveshafts , bumpers , u name it , ive bought so many times. Im thinking of getting a sign made and hung up in the hobby shop so i can just point to my phone number when they want to pull up the account ffs.
      then the sledge comes out lol , i wish i kept that thing stock-ish and spent the money on a machine thats more robust with the speeds it can achieve . making this slash go 60+km was alot of fun but im done dropping money into it and currently eyeing better performance rc's for the dollar. its honestly ridiculous , if i had to do it again i would prolly still gone brushless because its how i learned about everything else .
      if i had a choice and i knew what i know now .....id have a pretty sweet xmaxx or sledge .....or both at this point

    I had my sway bars the same as u front and rear. The rear like that I noticed on mine with aluminum shocks it made the rear suspension very stiff it would bounce in the rear every bump so I ended up mounting it using some washers down below the shock tower and running the bar to the rear. Didn't have to drill holes tho because using aluminum suspension arms and they have holes front and back. And yeah I know aluminum arms a no no. But to each his own. Lol but it works better for me and didn't stiffen up the shocks like the other way like u have in rear. And kept the front the same. But I was using the blue bars I didn't try a thinner bar the same way in rear 1st might had helped but I seen others mount the same way with washers down below shock towers and bar to rear

    You need to keep the throttle on while the truck is in the air to keep the front of the truck up in the air. When it comes to landing if your front end to too high, A quick tap on the brakes with the front end down.

    • @RCKnockout
      @RCKnockout  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      True….but it’s not as simple as it seems to level out a 2wd truck, much easier with 4x4….flooring a 2wd doesn’t bring the front end up….a lot more has to do with the takeoff itself….braking can help bring the nose down…but not nearly as effective as a 4x4 truck either

    If you take these jumps like intended, the car won’t break at all.
    You need to speed check so you don’t overshoot and land in the flats, no different than riding it with a bike.
    Of course under shooting it you can still break it Lolol.
    The ramp is designed to have low impact landings 😎😎
    I take mine on BMX tracks and love watching the car float

  • @brad2835
    @brad2835 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Dude, you aren't wrong that they aren't clear about those swaybars. I didn't like the front being mounted in the bumper. The bumper twists before force is transferred from one shock to the other. Test it by elevating the front wheels off the ground and pushing up on only one a-arm. You'll see the bumper assembly twists a little before the other shock comes up. Mount it behind the shock towers. It will eliminate all loss of force transferral and you'll get more action. However, it requires cutting the swaybar so it doesn't rub the wheels and drilling holes in the plate. Good job though. You used you're resources and what you did should work. The rear one is weird too. I did something entirely different that my local hobby shop owner showed me.
