Let's say I held 100 shares of ABC from 1st sept 2017 to 1st Feb 2018 and company announced dividend on 1st Feb itself. will I still get dividend?

Dividend is the life line that makes sense as you are an investor.
The same concept of capital appreciation you might have explained in one of your old vedio taking Google as an example.
Could you please share link if you have any vedio on long term versus short term investment.
Actually I want to analyse the behavioural pattern of an investor about why he chooses one over another.
