watching the miya vs masa final match where masa was a full stock up made me so happy, until he died and it cut to him being same percent as miya last stock 💀💀💀💀 its crazy how any lead in this game means absolutely nothing because every character can hit you for 10000%
11:33 Literally right when the animation for Fire Bird was about to end and put him in free fall, fucking Masa with his magnet hands literally snapped right onto ledge like it was Brawl, I'm more shocked that he was alive after Phantasm spiking Miya.
I’m Japanese. Some of BGM on this movie come from Persona5 don’t you? That’s great! Thank you for watching Japanese smash bros and making the movie about it. If I made a mistake in these sentences, I’m sorry.
Kameme actually thinks Sora is at the top 10 level! That’s why he’s been practicing Sora the past few months. Recently he has been doing quite well in the Japanese tournament scene with Sora
I don't know the details, but Maeda-kun, the organizer of this tournament, is planning a Japanese version of the summit, so I think I'll be able to see it someday!
I might get a ton of crap for this, but I feel like Acola is far closer to overtaking Leo for the #1 spot than most people are giving him credit for. They've both had similarly impressive years in terms of results and h2h. I'd still personally give #1 to Leo, but this is definitely the closest anyone's ever been to taking the #1 spot from Leo since competitive Ultimate started, which is no easy feat.
I would say Japan now is 1) Acola 2) Miya 3) Umeki 4) Kameme 5) Yoshidora - Umeki and Yoshidora need to get a chance internationally Shuton and Hikaru are also up there for sure Also did not know Kameme had a Sheik and a Byleth, boy is CRACKED
@@legrandliseurtri7495 at that moment in time it made sense since he was top 4 every tourney and Asimo and Shuton weren’t getting results but obviously only for a brief period. The top two is still the same but now maybe it’s 3) Shuton 4) Kameme 5) Asimo with Hurt now being in contention for a spot too… but things change very quickly in Japan because only two players get consistent results and there are so many hidden bosses who can randomly top 5 a major
@@JonnyJayKhan And Umeki both then and now also has extremely inconsistent results. He has never won a major and very rarely made top 3. I like this player but he really isn't and never was a top 5 Japan contender. He's at the lower end of top 10.

It’s really crazy to see a player like Miya perform well I feel like he came outta nowhere
Kind of. He is the same as Acola he was an incredible Wi-Fi player that was able to go to Japanese tournaments due to being sponsored by FTG

The amount of Game 5s this year were insane.
What year lacks game 5s? 2021?
@@harpot678 No I meant how insane the game 5s were in this year specifically

Acola may have won, but Tsubaki _WON_
Onggg. Top level joker go stupid bruh 🤣
That is crazy that all these dudes compete in the Tourney of all time.
riddles watching tournaments is so good, he gets so hype watching other players do stuff
I love these watch parties! Would love more of this.

The KH2 music goes so hard for this
Tsubaki has the joker drip
The Persona music just makes the watch party awesome lol
This tournament was so fun to watch for real
Even though the thumbnail spoiled grand finals, I was on the edge of my seat for every set. What a amazing tournament.
“Look at how much wood he has” 3:45 💀
Acola vs Umeki at 1:51 ☠☠☠
Riddles: bro, man, dude, bro, man, dude, man, nice punish bro, dude
I feel bad for poor Tsubaki, I'm so glad Acola won
18:29 literally who does that?! This guy's movement is absolutely insane!

That smash documentary is crazy
Don't forget that Tsubaki defeated Miya in the recent Seibugeki
2:45 I'm sorry was the Kazuya player complaining about people dying at low percentages???
Yeah cause steve is like a bajillion times better than kazuya, complaining about steve is always warranted
Lol at Acola trying to pick someone other than Steve in Grand Finals of a decently stacked tournament.
He always pick Kazuya in FD though.
0:47 - Me :D
26:19 what song is this?
I am really happy to see top overseas players watching Japanese tournaments. Also, unlike the Japanese, your reactions are rich and fun to watch!😂
Acola looks like the grudge so much bro
BTW riddles, it is tsunami and Marsha in the joker wolf match
ever since Leo beat Acola, other players have been challenging him more. still really dominant though.
Lol no
I main this character so I am biased but when you know combos ice climber are sick as hell
I know that is a long and expensive flight but i think you should go for a major in Japan once
I don't know the details, but Maeda-kun, the organizer of this tournament, is planning a Japanese version of the summit, so I think I'll be able to see it someday!
Literally, he was bro'n dude. Ggs
14:30 What a song?
second time acola wins a set because his opponent sd'd sub 10% what a lucky guy
Third time. Remember his first set against Shuton at Scuffed World Tour and his set against Sparg0 at LSI?
4th now ho my god did kola (saltone) played like ass

Hikaru did amazing. I think if he switched gears to solo Roy, he could be doing even better. Regardless, this tournament was amazing to watch.

Id like to say little mac is the most hype character because he's the worst. Seeing a little mac beat like a bayo or wolf in tourney is so hype.
You sounded like Hbox here.
11:35 True shit
a comment for the algorithm because you're cool
❤
Holy crap! Japanese smash way better than American??
Ig rly just more hype
The overall level is higher in Japan
Entero carreao el acola.

Was tea here

anyone know the outro song riddles uses on his vids?
Im so glad Kazuya lost to Marth 😋
Friendly reminder that all my homies hate steve
I dont think this better than Kwoon. Like Kwoon made it feel like an actual sport.

I hate pretending like Steve players have skill man.
We never pretended like Brawl Meta Knight players had skill. So why do we pretend for players of a character who is 40 billion times more broken?
Keep pretending then 😌
Sounds like a personal problem. My advice: care less.
With an attitude like yours, I am surprised you were even alive during the Brawl era.
