I am writing a paper on this in my MSN program. Thanks for your concept. I would like to cite this, your opening comments match my intro paragraph. Joint Commission is calling for standardization.
I have my own form which is similar to yours. Thank you so much. I have enjoyed your videos. They are very informative. I believe that standardization for handoff is extremely important.
Yeah i’m not new nurse i’m an IR nurse but i’m definitely struggling to keep up with the fast pace. I can get a call that OR so so is coming and 2 mins later they roll through the door.
Hi Jenny, simply put its how long after removing a line with either manual pressure or a closure device that you have no bleeding, Thus you have reached hemostasis. Via manual pressure can take 5-10 minutes or longer dependent on many factors.
Thank you Thank you Thank You!!!! Im 3 weeks in and currently struggling. Although im a seansoned RN, PACU is new and im very interested in furthering my nursing career in this area. If you have any advice, my issue thus far is speed. I have 1.5 yrs of ICU experience and I found myself getting flustered and overwhelmed with 2 patients, Ive had 3 preceptors the first week and im viewed upon as incompetent. Any advice?!

Yes, the pace today is much faster than in the past, where nurses would go to retire now days you need your roller skates 🛼 on! 😂
