    You are tugging at the heart strings, Mini is the FWD Miata. Another unique ride with a distinct performance drive. There are a very few cars that make you smile when driving and the Mini is a teeth shinner. It sad with required safety equipment the Mini has gotten heavier, bigger, and lost some of its nimble traits. But it is still unique and fun.

    I agree with your comment about the reverse lockout. What happened to you?

      I'm not sure what you mean, Paul Hartman.

    Majority of Mini videos shown are with the manual transmission. Any particular reason? Anyway “Happy Motoring.”

    I differ, the brakes feel way far from lovely, I own the 22 and the first thing I noticed is the brakes feel weak and even spongy, they definitely need an upgrade.

      You are spot on, on my Mini Cooper electric, I swapped the brake pads to Porterfield and added some steel brake lines, along with Endless RF650 brake fluid, really made a huge difference!

      Right?! I mean they’re not awful bad, but there’s certainly room for improvement. I’m planning on getting the JCWs break system as soon as this ones need replacement/maintenance

      Hello. I’m reaching out to ask how are you liking your Mini so far? Did you have any concerns about its long term reliability before purchasing? Has it been reliable so far? Is the A/C blowing cold air? What are your pros and cons? Do you have any buyers remorse ? I saw a 2023 Mini Cooper S on Autotrader and deeply considering getting it. It’s my dream car, but there are some nay sayers due to its past models.

      @@leom00n79 I have zero concerns and over the last twelve months my Mini has been completely reliable, the gas and electric mini share the same F56 chassis and other parts but the power train is what makes them differ in terms of reliability, and lastly I have zero regrets!

    I wish they would just do away with the backseats and make it a cargo area only.

    • @rogermartinez78
      @rogermartinez78 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is exactly what I did in my Mini Cooper electric, I installed a rear seat delete kit and gain some range.

    Ditch the run-flats and get some proper tyres. They are so noisy and bork the ride

      I hear that from a lot of Mini owners.

    OEM brake pads are garbage and leaves a bunch of dust on your wheels.
