I mean, does the seat synchronize your movmement when leaning forward or sidewards? Do you feel any pressure on your legs, if you sit a longer time on the chair? Thank you in advance 🙂
Hi Eleonora! 🙂 Good question! The chair does not have forward tilt for the seat itself. So it basically only synchronizes with your movement as you lean back. However, Fractal has a mechanism they call “synchro-tilt,” which means that both the backrest and the seat move in tandem as you lean back. It actually feels very nice, like the backrest hugs your back even during recline. Check out their website if you want a more visual representation of the movement. They have a short video demonstrating it. But no, no forward tilt for the seat itself. 🙂 In terms of pressure on my legs, this is probably one of the most comfortable seats I’ve tested so far. There is padding under the mesh on the front part of the seat, which is the area that, at least in my experience, usually causes some fatigue and pressure during long sessions. I’ve felt none of that during the days I’ve used this chair.
Hello Niklas! Great review. I do have a question about the chair: how does the armrest feel when you recline the seat? does they slide back or remaing in place? Im worried about the slidiness of the armrests in various positions. Also, the seat seems pretty "short" in depth compared to other chairs. It is noticeable?
Hi there! Thanks a lot for the kind words :) Regarding your questions. I haven’t actually had any issues with the armrests moving as I lean back in the chair. As for the seat depth, I’m 190 cm tall and have adjusted it to the maximum length, which is almost perfect for me. Do keep in mind that the depth differs slightly between the mesh version and the fabric version, with the latter being a bit shorter. Also, since I’m relatively slim (83 kg), I do believe the seat depth can probably feel a bit short if you have a more muscular lower body.

the height customizability of the headrest seems like a negative. im only 5'4 and the small secretlab chair i cant lower the headrest cushion enough to get into my neck without it falling off the magnets. it looks like you cant lower this one much either.
I see how that may be an issue for some. Just to give you an idea about the height in its lowest position, I tried to measure it from the seat. In its lowest position, the headrest begins at around 58 cm (22.8 inches) and ends at around 77 cm (30.3 inches), give or take a centimeter. Then, of course, you would sink down a bit further once sitting in the chair. I hope that gives you an idea about the headrest position.
I've heard the fabric seat version of this is as hard as the Titan Evo 2022 - I currently have this and it is way too hard. Can anyone confirm? Would mesh seat version be more comfortable if the seat is indeed too hard as I have heard?
It's from a German Amazon seller with the brand name "Silent Monsters". I ordered it from the Swedish Amazon site, but I wasn’t able to find it on the US Amazon site, so my guess is that this specific one is only available here in Europe. Anyway, I'll include a link to it on the Swedish Amazon site below. I've got the 90x40 cm version :) www.amazon.se/Silent-Monsters-Musmattor-Storlek-Musmatta/dp/B01FFFSORA/
I would say it’s a matter of personal preference. Personally, I haven’t tried the fabric version, but from what I’ve read from others who have bought it, it seems to be a bit firmer than the mesh version - which can be both good and bad. I’ve seen some people mention that if you’re a bit heavier, the fabric version might actually be preferable. However, it’s worth noting that the seat on the fabric version is slightly shorter than on the mesh version. If possible, the safest option is probably to test it in-store, since we’re all built differently and have different preferences. :) Personally, I’ve completely switched to mesh because it breathes so well, and you can sit for long periods without it getting too warm.
Soooo, is it comfortable to sit on for prolonged periods of time? Why do chair reviewer miss the most basic aspect of sitting in a chair. Talk at length about arm rests and don’t mention the primary function.

the height customizability of the headrest seems like a negative. im only 5'4 and the small secretlab chair i cant lower the headrest cushion enough to get into my neck without it falling off the magnets. it looks like you cant lower this one much either.
Btod did a review and said fabric was way too hard
The biggest con is that you can't sit crosslegged/single leg tucked in it due to the hard edges of the seat!
What mousepad is in the video?
It's from a German Amazon seller with the brand name "Silent Monsters". I ordered it from the Swedish Amazon site, but I wasn’t able to find it on the US Amazon site, so my guess is that this specific one is only available here in Europe. Anyway, I'll include a link to it on the Swedish Amazon site below. I've got the 90x40 cm version :)

Fabric or mesh?
I would say it’s a matter of personal preference. Personally, I haven’t tried the fabric version, but from what I’ve read from others who have bought it, it seems to be a bit firmer than the mesh version - which can be both good and bad. I’ve seen some people mention that if you’re a bit heavier, the fabric version might actually be preferable. However, it’s worth noting that the seat on the fabric version is slightly shorter than on the mesh version. If possible, the safest option is probably to test it in-store, since we’re all built differently and have different preferences. :)
Personally, I’ve completely switched to mesh because it breathes so well, and you can sit for long periods without it getting too warm.
Soooo, is it comfortable to sit on for prolonged periods of time? Why do chair reviewer miss the most basic aspect of sitting in a chair. Talk at length about arm rests and don’t mention the primary function.
@@Krisdt8 For me personally, it has been super comfortable to sit in for extended periods of time. I haven’t experienced any fatigue or discomfort at all. To be honest, it’s one of the most comfortable office chairs I’ve ever used for prolonged sessions of work.
@@plejground thanks Niklas, I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I’m really interested in this chair but couldn’t find any opinions on the actual seat itself. One to consider.
please dont loop the same horrible song for 8 minutes
Thank you for your feedback! I’ll definitely review the background music in my upcoming videos.
man I hate how it slopes down in the back of the seat... whyyyy. and the sliding arms :(
Yes, I totally agree about the lack of resistance in the backward and forward motion. It is quite a bummer to be honest. Hopefully, they will address this issue soon, so that the upcoming versions won't have this problem.
I wonder if its made by Haworth
I believe the company that manufactures the components for the chair is called Donati, as I noticed their name/logo on the underside of the seat.
@@plejground thanks for sharing
@@plejground just the main mechanism ist from donati.
@@Anderten1989 Thanks for the clarification!
$900 isn't mid range
@@matthewjackson5325 I’m guessing you’re referring to the Alcantara version? Both the mesh and the fabric version retails for $549.
