Just because it’s a jelly and not a gel, I would try without a leave in to see the hold because a lot of these don’t have hard hold. It makes the hair soft but the definition is only kept for one day or while it’s wet. I like a little cast anyway but I understand how the very hard cast can seem aggressive on the hair 💯

Agreed! I totally understand. When I used it with the hair paint wax, the combo gave my curls a hard hold. I also used it to do a low bun, and my hair didn’t frizz much with the hold. I really hope it’s the same result for you

I tried the quench with the don’t shrink gel from Aunt Jackie’s and it works very well together. I have to try this gel with it.
